Your mic cable is giving me anxiety
I concur
dude this video is exactly what i needed right now, i found some of this chords in the wild, but having the diatonic formula in my arsenal is incredibly helpful, thank you so much!
Damn i love the chords very much ! It reminds me of The Contortionist and prog metal bands as well as shoegaze! Thank you for sharing 😊!!
1:32 Oho, isn’t this progression the intro to the Cure's “Boys Don’t Cry”?
(Just subscribed btw, here and on Patreon)
Love these, you should do a shoegaze chords Playlist
Trevor, I found this video very useful! However, I'd love a video on the rules around chord naming conventions so I can find unique voicing myself. Something to consider. Thanks!
These vids are so helpful thank you Trevor
The first chord is used in dagger by slowdive I’m pretty sure
your that man trevor. What is your zodiac sign ?
Great chords thank you!
Thanks Trevor, I appreciate so much your work
So practically, part of shoegaze chords were influenced by Jimi Hendrix. That Cmaj7/G and Fmaj7#11/C shape are the chords Jimi Hendrix used on Angel and some more songs. Now I have more respect on Jimi
Great video, though
bro you are so helpful tysm
super useful; thanks very much
Terrific, as always. Thank you 🙏
Wonderful, thanks
oh interesting i though the chord i was playing all this time was an add9 but it was a sus2 lol. no clue how i got the name mixed up probably because i don't really pay attention to chord names much. something i've gotta work on a bit more. would love to see even more chord shapes. great video
A decent primer for sure. I was wondering when you were going to mention sus2 and sus4 shapes.
Love your videos friend!
Thank you!
You’re the best!!!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Is it just me or is it much harder to play chords in general on acoustic guitar
Yes it can be, but it comes with practice. Generally the acoustic strings are thicker making them more difficult to press.
This is standard tuning
