[about me]
Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything).
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

Marty is so precious, she reminds me of my niece who moved from northern Ontario where they have expensive groceries and limited variety of snacks. When she finally moved here she went crazy at the grocery stores it was adorable.

Congratulations, Marty, for surviving the once-in-a-generation Canadian Arctic storm! You have stories to tell your children. Rosie, so thankful you made it to Pearson and back during the height of the storm. There were many accidents and the police had closed roads and advised everyone to stay home or risk getting stranded. You have the true, brave spirit of an adventurer. Your family members should visit at times other than the dead of winter though. The deep freeze isn’t our province’s best trait. Psst, Rosie, your ‘special friend’ is very handsome and helpful!
There is no other chanel on the whole youtube that I really love, it is truly only yours. You are so authentic that you can't even begin to imagine it. Never ever change your way of taking videos and editing them. You have an amazing bond with your sister similar to the one I have with my sister. 💜 be blessed with health and as much prosperity as possible.

Rosie, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I am a daughter of an Italian mama, mama, Angela, and when I watch your videos, and all the food you eat, this is how I was raised with all those beautiful Italian traditions. I think you’re brave and bravo to you beautiful Rosie for going all by yourself to Canada, which is basically the United States and living there and trying to find yourself. That is super brave. I mean I was born in California but my first language was Italian. I didn’t get back to Italy until I was like in my mid 20s. I went as a little girl, but I don’t remember any of that. But anyway, I love your videos. I’m laughing at your little sister as she is just eating all the junk food that makes American so fat. Try not to get her to hook to that stuff. Italians cook healthy. They walk a lot. Most of them don’t get too fat because they’re so busy walking all over the place cause they don’t have cars. Anyway, I just love your channel. I can’t wait to see how your family cooks all the fishes on Christmas Eve next year. I really miss that tradition since my mom has passed away. I don’t do it because I don’t want to do all the work. Italian cooking is a labor of love and a lot of work.

Hi Rosie, my daughter found your "what I eat in a week in Italy" video and she loved it. She showed me and her Nonna and we have all enjoyed your channel. My mother is from Cormons in Friuli and she used to visit Padova all the time to go to the basilica. Venice is my favorite place. Your mom is an amazing worker by the way.
