Living on a homestead means you (should) grow and raise most of your own food, if not all! Chickens are a very high source of protein, and one of the easiest and cost-effective things to raise. Here I'll show you the butchering process from start to finish, with our cornish cross chickens. Processing backyard chickens is a messy job, but having that close connection to your own food is invaluable!
