hi... after i pressed commit AStudio prompted me to enter my login details of my git hub. its says "Invalid authentication data.404 Not Found - Not Found" but the details login fine on the webpage... how do i fix it?
I did the exact same steps but when I clicked on push it showed me that I had to login, I tried to login with my account but its showing error please help
Excellent explanation, although I have a doubt, when I write more data in my project, I create new designs, functions and others, I have to do the same process again so that the files in Github are updated with the updated Android Studio project ?
For the most part yes. I should have covered this more in the video. What you'll want to do is click the following when you want to commit some changes to a branch Git > Commit You don't have to go through all of the weird linking stuff we did again and you should already be signed in. If you look in the bottom right corner of Android Studio, you'll see what branch you're currently working on. You should be able to swap around to new branches from there. When you want to push a commit to the repository all you have to do is click Git > Push I'd take a look at the Git tab in the top toolbar. There's a whole bunch of stuff you can do from there once everything is setup correctly
So, I do have a question. This will allow you to upload all your project files for anyone who has access to the repository to download and build the app, however I do know that if there is sensitive information that you don't want to upload you usually have to include it in the gitignore. Does android studio have a gitignore folder already set up?
When you create a new project with Android Studio, a .gitignore file is created for you. You can find it by changing your view from Android > Project. A drop-down menu should be on the far left to change your view.
Hi , man thanks for the video, just wanted to ask whether i have to follow the whole add->commit->push procedure every time I make changes in the project as i continue developing it or is there another way? also in the settings for git my update method is set to branch default whereas yours is set to merge , should i change it what is the difference?
hi, thanks for your video. I faced a problem that while I uploading my code, It should that I need to login. Then I redirect to a webpage but cannot login.......

Please make a video about how to use a database for storing whatever user enters.
And also a seperate video explaining async tasks.
I've gotten a few requests on how to work with databases. I'll be making a video on that eventually
