Seriously this is the video i have been looking for!! Awesome man, Awesome! I have 18 and 25 horse kohler command industrials and a 100 and 124 cub. I dont plan on making them into pulling tractors but i want to be able to push some serious snow and a little dirt around. Can you show how you mate the engine to the drivetrain and if and how you beef things up for the extra power?
clintard this is an old post I see, so maybe you've already done something. But you can already push some serious snow or dirt with a good running stock k241 or k301 that are in your tractors. You'll most likely run out of traction pushing snow/dirt before you run out of power.
I want to do this to my 107. I wish you didn't have to cut the frame, but if not you'll probably hit the hood and I don't want to cut the hood, or go without. Do you do anything with the front wheels or axles to compensate for the frame mod?
@ clintard, I have made a couple more and will continue to make them. If you have any questions you can also send me a friend request on facebook Mac Ellis

Have you ever put a 459cc preadter in a wide frame cub ?
Will a twin cylinder Kohler fit in a wide frame cub cadet without cutting the frame
No, there is some fab required. Unless you put it in a newer spread frame with the proper mounting plate
@@edwardellis1404 what all fab work would be required or a newer frame that doesn't have any lip like the old cubs
It would take quite some time to explain but I'm sure if you ask that question on Cub Cadet garden tractors in Facebook you would get an answer
@@edwardellis1404 ty for the information on that
I have removed the oil cooler off of the Kohler Command and the oil filter sits high enough to clear the frame.
How thick is the chassis metal? It looks stout!!

Hit me up on Facebook Mac Ellis in Greeley Colorado and I can send you some pictures through Messenger on how to do it without cutting your hood
Request sent, Scout Luyben.
Has anyone used the single cylinder prowler engine in a 100-124
I have a roller needing a engine
What about the oil filter and cooler on the other side
Pretty much just like a wide frame

Is that car a Volga?
Why would you say that? It looks like a Ford Customline. All Soviet cars were knockoffs of Western ones.
