I'm so happy for my favourite band Fjørt to finally play shows over in the US and also for the US people to experience Fjørt. Even if you don't understand the lyrics, their emotions do the talking for sure.
It was simply incredible. Such a treat to have gotten to see them twice in small venues during their US tour and to get to host them for one of them!

@@foreigndissent Resilient? They are fucking crazy! Back in 2022 Fjørt did the following after no sign of life throughout the pandemic: they played all their four CDs front to back in ONE day distributed over four locations in Cologne. First location=first CD, second location=second CD etc. The following day they did it AGAIN in Hamburg. 8 gigs in two days + driving from Cologne to Hamburg! The gigs started at 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm! They are fucking crazy, I don't even know how Chris could endure these two days! I bought tickets for two gigs in Cologne but I ditched at the last minute because I had nobody to go with me (I live in a neighbouring country to Germany and had to travel) and got severe anxiety of going alone to a city I never went to before not knowing anybody etc. At the end of the last gig of that night they announced a new album for November '22 and even played three new songs from it. But I also must say, they released a live set of three songs during the pandemic and Chris improved his screaming a lot during the down time and sounded great.
@@Mindartcreativity oh i heard all about the wildness of that 8 show epic directly from their manager (malek) who stayed with me for a night. and then a few days later the band and crew spent an evening drinking a bunch of beer with me on my front porch so i got to hear about it again. frank is a beast to bang those drums for that many shows in a row! i feel so lucky to have gotten to know them just a little bit. that all day multi venue experience sounds absolutely unreal, totally genius, and a massive undertaking. seeing the footage from the current tour blows my mind!
@@foreigndissent These guys always go so hard at their concerts, it's marvelous to witness it from the front row. Had that experience twice. I wish I wouldve had the opportunity to witness the one day four albums experience.
