Cool video bro i really like your Dedication and your though process and organisation, Consider using and Learning Docker and docker compose because it eases up the development process and the deployment
Love your vids, love Django too. As some others have said django is quite nixe with containerization and I'd also recommend checking out django channels and django rest frame work. I love building django + react apps, and I tend to deploy them in self hosted Kubernetes clusters. How are you planning to serve your app in production?
Thanks for the input! I just started reading into the Django rest framework. Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but I'm planning on hosting it on Microsoft azure. Really only using Azure just to get experience for a potential internship. If you have any advice I'd love to hear it!
@@Keb_Le alright so you are prob planning to host it on a simple azure vps ( or what ever they call it over there ). So the tricky part is gonna be setting up ssl and the firewall probably. I mostly run multiple services on my VPS therefore I like deploying a simgle node k8s cluster on the vps and the use k8 services like cert manager etc to manage my applications. But as this is not your aim you can either follow one of the tutorial on how to issue e.g. a lets encrypt cert for just vps setup. Also be sure to modify the default ssh setting, setup a firewall etc. Also you can give something like caddy a try which simplifies this process without requiring something like k8s.
Yo, this is awesome! Would you say you are more frontend or backend focused? Also, are you willing to work on a contract. I work for a startup and something might open up in the next month or so. Don't get your hopes up too much but I'll try to see if we're a fit
I'm more comfortable with the front end but I enjoy both. Willing to work on contract. Where can i find more information on your startup? I appreciate the comment & hope we keep in touch!
Hello Man , Can you hit me up on this contract work , I am experiences in working on DRF, postgres , Docker , coolify , And I am decent on the frontend too with React and bootstrap But I can learn any new technology that is required , for the experience I am self taught worked on more than 60 tasks in Fiver for differnt type of clients , and my latest project is a complete inventory management system with multiple tenants a super admin ,email notifications etc
