  • The Sound of Pure Analogue - Vintage Tone meets Modern Modular in Eurorack form, no compromises. This is a compilation of moments from our past videos, demonstrating the sonic power, character and flexibility of our MiniMod system modules. From the early-Minimoog based MiniMod voice with classic Transistor Ladder Filter, to the various other audio and CV processing tools and generators in our range: Each clip is taken from a full-length video, either demonstrating how to create a specific patch, a performance example, or a complete video user guide to the featured module.

The AJH SYNTH Eurorack range consists of high-end modules, all hand-made in the UK, most of which are based on classic, vintage designs, authentically recreating the circuitry of much sought-after analogue instruments and technologies of the past, whilst greatly expanding them, and bringing them to modern Eurorack levels of convenience, limitless flexibility, and reliability.
    Official website page: ajhsynth.com
Check out the AJH Synth playlists for module 'User Guides', and 'Patch of The Week' videos, which will be either performances or 'how to' guides, detailing functions/methods, and a range of sounds, some familiar, some less so, containing a patch sheet at the end to show you how to construct it for yourself.

AJH is one of the top quality manufacturers in Eurorack these days, IMHO. Definitely on par with Serge, Joranalogue, Mutable Instruments, Tiptop and Verbos. Congratz to such great sounding achievements! A perfect balance of conservative tradition vs. visionary innovation. This is my personal opinion. I am Professor at the university of music Nuremberg, Germany. My expertise is in recording studio techniques, music production and sound synthesis. Owning a huge modular system, I still wish I had a complete AJH system at my lab, too.

Thank you very much, your opinion is appreciated. Achieving the right quality of sound, construction, and usability without compromise is the priority here.

Personally I think they are the top of the pile, maybe apart from Macbeth...

AJH epitomises the musical beauty of modular. That on itself is unique. There are individual lead sounds here with dynamic control that would put many non-modular synths to shame. It’s all about the music.

Thank you very much. That's a great advantage of modular - find a great sound, then decide for yourself how you want to control it.

First time seeing this video, and brand of synth! Initial impressions: Very Moog-like, with a dash of ZynAddSubFX, and Pigments. Well done AJH! Encore!

Thank you very much, and welcome. The core MiniMod modules are indeed specifically based on the first R.A. Moog batch of Minimoogs.

holy @($*$(&@$ really impressive sound programming. Amazing work on the synthesizer
but the sound designers in this video could probably wrangle a string and some duct tape to sound amazing

Thank you very much, that's a great compliment. Just the one sound programmer in the video, myself @DreamsOfWires. Much credit goes to the instrument though, it's difficult to make it sound bad.
The string and the duct tape idea sounds very BBC Radiophonic Workshop, which I'm also a big fan of.

wonderful demo! I'm considering buy your vco but something is questioning me, you sequence vco with keystep pro and key step, because your vco pitch cv is -5v +5V if i'm right and the keystep is 0 to 10v, I don't understand how you manage to have fullrange of note? thanks for your answer.

Thanks for your interest and your question. I often use the Precision Voltages module between the Keysteps and the VCOs, as like many controllers and sequencers, they don't produce negative voltages, meaning they're not able to reach the lowest notes. Here's a video showing how to overcome this limitation with the Precision Voltages: ruclips.net/video/nKsa8eJJo1E/видео.html
