THIS WORKS!!!! I’ve been treating my hair with henna for the past 5 months , along with a protective style under wigs , liquid biotin supplement and my hair has transformed , I’ve never had hair this strong. The shedding / fall has reduced , thickness increased and my length has been retained . 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@Alexis Massenburg I do it every 4 weeks just a gloss . I mix conditioner with 2 tbsp henna , 1 tsp of amla , shikaikai and aloe Vera powder. Water or aloe Vera juice and then a cap of olive oil. Let it sit for the night use the next day. Keep it wrapped on my hair for about 4-6 hrs . Then I deep condition .
@@Blackdiamond929_ That sounds great! I do a gloss every 1-2 weeks tbh and it has worked, but Im trying to incorporate more henna as well. I like the gloss because its moisture and strength. Thanks for your response!
I recently have been doing my research on Ayurvedic herbs and I love your channel you provide so much detail I am going to be purchasing my herbs next week I am super excited to start this journey 😄
For folks who do not want the dye effect, use Cassia Obovato. P.S. Great video. :) P.P.S. You can also use flaxseed gel (lots of yummylicious bennies and slip) for this recipe instead of conditioner. (The gel is my go-to for many a DIY. :D )
Thank you so much for you tips. I do love cassia as well and have a cassia gloss video if anyone is interested ruclips.net/video/lgHAPz6Ov-U/видео.html
Thanks for sharing this. I haven't seen anyone use the cowash with a gloss but I think that is perfect. I want to try the gloss this weekend. Can I add honey to it? I was also wondering if I could add Aloe Vera powder. I don't have Brahmi.
Lisa Jones aloe Vera is perfect, it will add some more moisture to the mix. Just make sure the honey is warm so that it will mix into the gloss. Can’t wait to hear about your results
If your new to henna gloss, I would recommend doing it once every two weeks. If you know your hair likes henna glosses I recommend once a week, you can use less henna and more conditioner if you're doing it weekly.
Hi you can definitely try cassia ruclips.net/video/lgHAPz6Ov-U/видео.html or you can try Zizyphus powder that doesnt have any dye release ruclips.net/video/DOViWFwLO1w/видео.html
It actually coats the hair strand with a reddish tint. However doing a henna gloss minimizes the affect of the LAWSONE dye binding to your hair strands

Awesome!! How often do you use henna? and is it a full treatment or a gloss?

I'm going to try this, I've never glossed before.
Hope you enjoy the recipe!
Great video. I plan to use marshmallow root as my herbal tea to add.
Oh that would be amazing and add some nice slip
I’m definitely trying this! Thank you so much 👏🏽👏🏽

How long can the leftover henna gloss be stored in the freezer?
Nicole Hackett up to about 6 months
New subscriber. I incorporate henna in and ayruvedic herbs in my hair care regime. I'm always looking for recipes and will incorporate yours.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy the recipe too!

Hello, Do you need to condition your hair after rinsing out the gloss? Thanks.
Depends on how your hair feels. For me, I dont but if you're just starting out, you may find this to be strengthening.
Could add water instead of tea?
Yes you can
I'm trying this right now. I'm praying it doesn't break my hair off or messes it up in any way. I hope for good results. Wish me luck! 😁
How did it go??
@@princessyunusa went very well. My hair felt stronger and my curls were popping. Thx for asking.
@@NapturallyFlyy yay thats great! Cant wait to try
How can use henna to get an extremely black color?
How many times per week do you recommend doing henna glosses?

@@NowIAmNappy thank you.
Really nice!
Thank you
Please how are you able to wash out the powder residue...it has always been my challenge... 🙏
Is there another option besides Henna? I want to professionally color my hair next summer and I'm afraid the henna would not allow me to do that

Great video boo!-From Deidreforever (Don't feel like changing profiles lol)
Ha thanks sis! Love your support.
Does the henna dye your hair?
It actually coats the hair strand with a reddish tint. However doing a henna gloss minimizes the affect of the LAWSONE dye binding to your hair strands
can i sit under a hooded dryer?
I wouldn't. Moist heat is better. Dried henna powder on your strands is a B to wash off.
Can you make a conditioner without fruits or veggies? Sometime i don’t have to throw away after use
I'm working on a recipe for you hun! I see your comments. I just have to test and test before putting it out there
NowIAmNappy thanks my love ❤️ also can you teach us how to us preservative in recipes that has water added to it?
I made one hun, check out my latest video
NowIAmNappy thanks Love
😎😎😎👍
Thanks always for your support
No problem!!!
