My #audi #tt is finally coming together! In the last video we fitted the #rs rear bumper and in this video we finish off that bodykit with a replica front bumper and spoiler after I try my hand at a little bit of painting!

Great job chris! I would probably go with silver colour wheels and silver badges, as the black wheels look invisible and it needs some details to pop
Looking great!! Getting that sanding done with a block and no interface pad would get a lot of that orange peel down too and give you a better finish and depth. The peaks of the clear coat are sitting too high and a flat block and some more graft will take the tops of that off and level it out. You can use the orbital with no interface pad as well nice and slowly to take it back but the improvement in the look of the car overall is on the money!!
Keep the front splitter silver, looks great and breaks up the black nicely
I would paint the brakes silver to match the other bits of the car (if it’s staying black). I would flat that spoiler down as it looks really wavey in the video. It’s coming along really well!
I really like the spoiler, the Audi TT are just too curvy so it adds a nice sharpness. One improvement I think silver Audi rings will look better and if possible silver exhaust rs tips. But if your happy with it, that’s what matters.

Loving what you’ve done with the car. I’d do exactly the same the only thing I would do, if the car stays black, is paint the silver and the wheels in gunmetal grey. Love the rear spoiler too 👍👍

Good job, I think you could have made the front 100% better just by adding a badge that grill was a horrid monstrosity.
Overall though, the new look is great.
Nice videos man! My tip is when exporting (rendering) them, change the frame rate to 24fps or 30fps. It will look better. 50fps is too much.

Enjoying the progress, but why is the car(s) wet or dirty every time you work on it? I know it’s wet in the UK at the moment but you’re working in a nice clean workshop and could have just given it a wipe down. Your a detailer after all :)
I like to not wash them until they are done 🤣 feels like its finally done when its clean!

I think you missed a trick with the spoiler, I too replaced the spoiler on my TTs and the weight savings from removing the rear manual spoiler is a decent amount and it’s not that hard to take off either, but still looks good

Came with my bumper but any generic fog lamp delete for your fog lights bulb type should work

Personally, I would remove the mesh behind the Audi rings. Think it would look cleaner with the car grille behind the rings and not the meshy bit

Not feeling that spoiler personally. Especially as its all wavy and bumpy, can blatantly tell its a cheap aftermarket spoiler. Needs a genuine one I think.

@@martynrollinson don’t get me wrong from far it looks good but the rest of the car looks straight and nice then you see the bad quality wing and it’s ruins it a bit

Regarding the paint job, mate you need to sort that a chalkboard has a better finish, I know your painting it but we like jobs done properly!good content tho
Its all learning one day i might get ok at it. 😊 If i just paid everyone to everything it would be a better finish but i would learn absolutely nothing for the future. Again it could be sanded to a nicer finish but it’s pointless as the car has now been wrapped! Glad you enjoyed.
Primer isn’t waterproof so the spoiler mount will rust…why didn’t you use gloss black 🤔

can't be just me that thought ruining the original spoiler was a bit pointless, and now there's an even more pointless button in the car
I mean theyre are plenty of replacements about if ever needed to go back standard so not exactly a huge problem 😅

This aftermarket spoiler looks like shit, it has so many drops and holes which are visible from miles, think wrap will cover this ?
Honestly no but i do have a opportunity to refinish it when i remove to do the wrap
