Brilliant! This is what the hobby is all about. A group of people getting together, having a lot of fun, flying model aircraft. Not hurting anything or anyone.
Bryan really is a wonderful guy. I've worked with him on getting youth to visit the field I fly at and he was the main person I communicated with. His passion and getting kids more experience with the hobby is evident and he was a wonderful guy to work with.
It's so much fun to see a bunch of very talented pilots havng a great time !! I love your very refined building skills!! :D Great video!! Thanks and have many more such creative fun meetings and film them for us!!
The most likely reason for 'I have no elevator' at 8:02 could be the Spectrum Dx6i transmitter. The stick potentiometers are not the best quality and are known for failures. I also damaged a plane when the rudder locked to full right during flight while flying with a Dx6i. Since then I only use it for cars and trucks.
I wanted to comment and say thank you for being unique and creative. This hobby lacks the uniqueness of RC channels with creativity. Most channels now are just giant advertisements for every new release being pushed through from the major companies. Keep it going, don’t change. Awesome work.
We're all about flying outside the box and fitting that exact bill, so it's great to hear your perspective. Happy landings...and don't forget to bounce one on too every so often.
As a person that lives in oregon I can confirm we are crazy I made a timber evo that used a 80mm edf system and a 13” gas prop and for about 10 seconds it was the fastest timber ever my gps read 153 and that was going strait up
I used to have a 3D auto gyro. It was an LT25 (no affiliation with greatplanes trainers). I powered mine with an FP40 and then a thunder tiger .46 with Macs pipe. The 40 was enough for aerobatics but the 46 let it hover. It wasn’t quick to get off the ground because it didn’t have a motor to spin up the rotor so it took as long as a normal sport plane to get off. Once up it could loop and roll and do any aerobatic maneuver that has zero or positive G loading. Four point aileron rolls were possible. It wasn’t designed with an elevator but I added one so I could hover. Just pitch and roll on the mast and a very effective rudder stock but that left no pitch control in a hover. I liken it to an sig Rascal in terms of aerobatic ability and feel. My favorite thing to do was take it real high and hover it. I’d hold it there long enough for the rotor to stop (like riding a wheelie on a motorcycle until the front wheel stopped). Then I could push it over and it would start to spin up. As soon as it was spinning fast enough to be stable I’d kill the throttle and let it spin down in a flat spin to land. It was a hoot. Balsa blades and all. Unfortunately the company went out of business and I haven’t seen a kit for one since.
2:42 SWEET!! I see someone has the latest Twisted Hobby's Super Cub did you guys get to see that one in action over there? Also will you guys be getting one to try out to make it fly ''Outside The Box?'' Another fantastic video fellas enjoy your Labor Day weekend BTW😁😁👍👍😁😁

Whoever produces the Autogyro better be thanking Tail Heavy. Their sales about to be through the roof.
They just missed the window when the price came down to $129.99 how about 2 ‐3weeks ago

Oliver's the GOAT! Been talking to him on Discord for a couple years now and he's super knowledgeable, and an amazing freestyle pilot too.

As someone who does fly RC planes in Oregon, you should’ve went to Adair village, they have a field there.
