It is difficult to ride in the city - particularly in traffic - is what most reviewers are pointing out. As we all know, these bikes will spend a considerable amount if their lives in the city, which means it will be a compromise to live with the TRK. The Honda is eye-wateringly expensive - it's not worth that much money anyway, ultimately, making me feel that any brand (KTM, cough cough) could come into this segment and make a bank! I am eagerly awaiting the 490 Adv.

So the Benelli isn't something that is advisable the cost of ownership i.e service, quality of service can't be compared to that of a Japanese company. Also, the Honda is just easier to handle across all environments. I am not saying that it's not a looker the Benelli that is. Also, the Honda got one thing wrong and that's the pricing and if someone were in the market for it i would always point them towards the v Strom as it can do some off road. The Benelli isn't worth the investment because of the higher maintainence cost and reliability issues that creeps in. However to each is own, one must definitely factor in the cost of parts and service costs before buying. I have seen a lot of people make the error of getting a bike and not knowing what it would take to own one. I'd go Honda purely because it makes more sense in the long run and running costs.
@@dsm4652 yup say you use the bikes for 3 to 5 years the Honda will pay it back but the Benelli won't, saying this because when I was in the market for one I did a lot of research which included creating an excel sheet and listing out part costs and that's when you notice the bigger picture. I would maintain a Benelli upto screws & bolts till 50K kms & still will be having left money for my next trip & fuel.. 2L is a big amount, one can do 4 Mumbai-Ladakh-Mumbai trip inclusive of maintenance & stays.. • Points always mised by reviewers, Benelli comes with all pannier racks & engine guards.. Adding up the weight to Honda, there would hardly be 15-18 kgs of difference left.. • Pannier rack & saddle stay in addition would cost more on Honda's price tag.. • Non availability of spare parts is the only issue in Benelli but, nowadays Honda's also have the same issue.. • All though looks are subjective but, Benelli looks expensive in comparison to Honda.. Benelli seems to be a 8-10L rupee motorcycle or even more for some same way Honda looks 5-6L rupee motorcycle..
Sad. The lady is definitely biased towards the Honda. For 2 lacs more, it’s a stupid pricing that Honda has come up with in India. The TRK is definitely worth more for the same price.
I test rode both in the last few weeks. Benelli is super comfortable and would be perfect for 100-110 kmph cruising. I didn't find it hard to ride in traffic either. Honda is an allrounder, could use for both daily purposes and touring. The price difference on road is just 50k considering Honda has brought the price down recently. It's 7.3 laks Vs 6.8 laks. Yes, you would get those extra fittings for free in Benelli. But I am told that service cost is 7-9k every 6 months for Benelli and 3-4k for Honda.

Honda all day long. Honda bullet proof reliability, spares available globally. You cant compare the 2 in my view. The Benelli may be nice to ride etc, but when something fails or falls off, your not going to be so happy as parts seem impossible to obtain.
On what basis are u claiming Honda is more refined... do u have some measurement on engine vibrations... some scientific observation on heat issues... going to history u cant make blanket statements like this....Benelli is lot lot improved and latest bs6 is solid bike....booked my x already
You have a 19 inch wheels on the honda and compare with the 502? why not bring the trk 502 X? Also, you pretty much brought problems to the Benelli whilst you provided almost no flaws in the Honda? Is that bike perfect? Seems a bit one sided review! Personally I do not own an Honda nor a Benelli and I find this video rather uneven.
Trk sounds woooooooah... Honda sounds kinda KARIZMA.. Trk is a beast in looks and very very comfortable for lonnnnng rides. If u wish to buy TRK go gor the spoke version.. Honda is for those who appreciate refinement but for its Naaaaaaaaah..
The X version's seat height is too damn high. I can imagine it being a nightmare in cities when you are not touring. You will have to always take 2 friends with you to help you reverse and pick it up.
Comparing Benelli vs Honda is unfair Honda has a reliability of over 70 years and Benelli is made in China and has had not much history behind it. I’d rather pay a little more to save money later in years to come (in terms of servicing, better reliability etc etc)
this video is paid for Honda. bhai honda me kitne problem hai kon batayega sirf trk ke problem bata rahe hai. sabse bada issue toh price me hai. seating is very bad is seating
Benelli weighs 232kg which is Dry. So 20 lit.of fuel along with TopBox and Side Panniers and rider's weight makes it around 300+ kg. Which is very uncomfortable. Along with that Service of Benelli is always a huge issue. It only becomes promising in Looks.
Guys you can do better.. ur saying Honda torque is slightly lower , but u say where is the rev range trk vs Honda… I feel u guys are not taking us anywhere…atleast that makes us feel good…conversation is not organised…boring…..
saying positives on honda and telling y 2lakh premium is evident is the biggest joke 😂😂. It may be a superior bike, but its an cbu import thats y the price gap not bcs of features wich u said, lol
Benelli is a bad bike. It doesn't even come close to the Honda in terms of performance, and most importantly reliability. But the price is ridiculous. Most people opting for a 390 Adventure, Dominar 400 and Himalayan would have chosen the CB if the price was right.
This Benelli bike desperately needs the new 750cc engine to justify the 235kg heft, hence the purported TRK800 based on the QJ SRB750... but unfortunately despite the QJ bike having been launched quite a while ago, Benelli has totally stopped all mention of it since early last year. On the other hand, CFmoto has launched the 800MT that weighs 225kg while putting out 95 horses & 88nm torque. Else, get the Honda. So I don't see the point of the TRK502, unless the lack of funds is a major factor.

Yep... Very important
On what basis are u claiming Honda is more refined... do u have some measurement on engine vibrations... some scientific observation on heat issues... going to history u cant make blanket statements like this....Benelli is lot lot improved and latest bs6 is solid bike....booked my x already
I came for a honest review, and look what I get, a paid comparisson right from word go
2:18 Seriously??!! 😑
Indeed. The comment on the quality is for laughs
please make benneli 502c vs trk 502
What is the cruising speed of both bikes
Honda CB500X - ~120 kmph
Benelli TRK 502 - ~100 kmph
Thanks for writing in.
@@ExpressDrives just 100 and 120,ktm adv 390 is cruising 140 easily
@@Siva.2407 dude cruising speed means speed at 6000 rpm on the top most gear. Ktm 390 Adv does 140 kmph at a higher rev.
@@abirkumarbardhan8467 Duke or adv 390 both are not refined engines ,because of single cyl,but trk502,500x are refined because twin cyl
@@aravindkumar4625 Agreed!
Lovely vlog, thanks neighbours 😊🙏
Should have compared TRK X to the CBX where both are 19'' wheels etc. The 502 is road version
I realise this is for the Indian market but please consider stating prices in USD.
Looks like they are the same price now in sep2022
better to speak about the advantage and disadvantage not to criticize about any brand. everybody got the opinion to decide.
I wish honda had kept pricing under 6.5lac onroad
Versys 650 is more off road capable than the CB500X? Seriously?
Trk also gets slipper clutch
Answer for Question at 4:20 The Benelli Sounds 100 better !
Comparing Benelli vs Honda is unfair Honda has a reliability of over 70 years and Benelli is made in China and has had not much history behind it. I’d rather pay a little more to save money later in years to come (in terms of servicing, better reliability etc etc)
To sum it up, Honda is good for female riders and TRK especially the X variant is good for males 😀
Benelli make sense but power to Wight ratio disappointed me !
Abhilasha singh make a tour the World together
Also compare Jawa RVM 500..
Benelli ROARING BIG MALE 🦁
Honda:meow Cat 🐈
inline twin vs parallel twin
this video is paid for Honda.
bhai honda me kitne problem hai kon batayega sirf trk ke problem bata rahe hai. sabse bada issue toh price me hai. seating is very bad is seating
TRK 502 is not bad as you guys told here 🤔🥺
Benelli weighs 232kg which is Dry. So 20 lit.of fuel along with TopBox and Side Panniers and rider's weight makes it around 300+ kg. Which is very uncomfortable. Along with that Service of Benelli is always a huge issue. It only becomes promising in Looks.
Beneli's technology is old and its lot heavy
Guys you can do better.. ur saying Honda torque is slightly lower , but u say where is the rev range trk vs Honda… I feel u guys are not taking us anywhere…atleast that makes us feel good…conversation is not organised…boring…..
Who wants top speed for touring bike east or west bennelli looking best
The abs is NOT switchable in TRK.
It is switchable. Please cross-check :)
@@ExpressDrives it was switchable in the earlier versions not in the model you guys reviewed.
I thought this was times drives 😆 the logo looks so similar
Jo bhi ladki ne bola sabe sahi bola full support hai 😂
saying positives on honda and telling y 2lakh premium is evident is the biggest joke 😂😂.
It may be a superior bike, but its an cbu import thats y the price gap not bcs of features wich u said, lol
Logically trk is best when compare to Honda...
Benelli us better confront and also sound good
Benelli is a bad bike. It doesn't even come close to the Honda in terms of performance, and most importantly reliability. But the price is ridiculous. Most people opting for a 390 Adventure, Dominar 400 and Himalayan would have chosen the CB if the price was right.
I had a test ride of it but i didnt like the engine worth for 6 lakhs
Trk 502 is love
Benelli is the best bike I love trk 502x
There was a clear lack of chemistry between the presenters. The conversations were awkward than interesting ..tbh.
CF Moto quality isn't recommended. Benelli quality much better
Maintenance is vey much higher for 500c is too much
