This is my favourite of your Kraftwerk covers that I've heard so far, because you've done what I like to do with covers and add a little of myself to them by varying something. The chorus/strings parts that suddenly arrive at around the 4 minute mark, then go and return stronger from about 6.45 through to near the end, are a superb addition to the song and add a new power to its overall mood. :-)
Thank you! I love the original song but I wanted to create some emphasis, I believe they have been performing the chorus with strings as well but it adds to the insightful journey within the song. 😄👍
The more I listen to Kraftwerk the more I realize how much they influenced so many bands and artists I love. They really did have a moody side when they wanted to showcase that aspect of their sound. Great cover though as always. Eagerly waiting for what song you do next! :)
Exactly! I read something once that they have influenced as many bands as The Beatles have. I'm not sure the validity of it but I'm sure it's a lot! Thank you!! 😀🤙
This is very well done. Almost sounds like the opening to a great Greek Epic movie with the voice over...Loving this incredible piece!!! Nice beard!!! You are my favorite Kraftwerkian cover artist!!!
Looks like you nailed it again..👍 Whenever I sing this, I effect an exaggerated German accent for fun (even though Rolf's accent is very soft in the original). Nice prop drums by the way!
Thank you! I'm sorry your guess was wrong, and actually it's funny you point that out: when I was making the lead sound I turned on Sync and for some reason it lost the slight detune/disconnected sound that I preferred. Maybe it's a preference of taste, or it was a different synth used but I tried my best. 🤙🎹🎶
Hi! I tried my best to listen to the opening sequence slowed down and to play each note on my keyboard to try and match the sequence as best as I could. I would add a delay but not too much feedback. And try to keep everything in the higher frequencies EQ wise. I hope this helps! 👍
@@acasadosom I think it went: B, E, A, E, G, F#, G, A For the main part. And then for the transition its: B, E, A, E, G, F#, G, A-B (faster for the A to B) It transitions to a higher octave and thats the "solo". I hope this helps! 🎹🎶
Brilliant! Found this when I was looking for mine :-). Found it after having enjoyed yours: ruclips.net/video/CYr37H53qvE/видео.html. Made five-ish years ago for an audience of less than 30 people, the class of 1974. Those were the days...
This recreation is just pure talent. The creator has lived this music, and knows every intricate detail. I applaud your efforts, amazing!
Thank you very much for the kind words! I tried my best! 🙌😁
I also love your “drum pads” very clever
@@retrorelicsandrepairs8572 I'm currently developing a drastically improved prop that will look better in the new videos! 😁🙌🥁

I don’t often comment on videos, but this is probably the best music cover I’ve ever heard on the internet. Absolutely sensational! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! I really appreciate it! 😄👍

OMG
Actually, really really great!! At some sections I think it's better than the original.
Thank you! That's a huge compliment! 😄👍
Cool
Thanks!
Maybe a bit more sync on the lead. Anyways, geil as always! I'm a bit dissapointed my guess was wrong.

i am trying to recreate the sequence in the background using Arturia plugins... do you have any tip?

Please, what the notes on second melody ?
Thanks

Awsome !!!
Thanks for your support !!!
Congratulations from Brazil !!!
What did you use to put the cardboard drum pads on?
I should say the aprendíce becomes the master ( its better then the original😅)
Thanks!! 😄
How did you do the opening sequence?
A blend between the original sequence and my own sequence recreating the orignal! It was very tedious haha 🎹🎶
