    This is what all companies should do tbh, I hate the anti repair tactics that everyone is doing cough cough apple. and then they say they are being environmentally friendly

    Can u use an Xbox ssd on steam deck. will 1tb overheat your steam deck?

      I've never opened an Xbox, or owned one for that matter. So the rest of this comment is based on what I learned on the internet in about 20 seconds, don't put too much trust in it. There should be little to no change in power consumption. It looks like the internal SSD of an Xbox Series X (and presumably the Series S too) might also be M.2 2230, just like the Steam Deck. So it might work.

    Just built my first PC
    Random motherboard and a case I like with a i7-4790 and a GTX 970 Strix OC version and 16gb of ram
    I work in console and phone repair and I hate the process I have to go through to open PlayStation 4 consoles
    I have to completely take out power supply top plate motherboard and heatsink for a majority of models and it's a useless time consuming process
    And iPhones are just annoying with their screws and face ID
