Hard to imagine starting off in Las Vegas with as much negative publicity as closing The Mirage Hotel & Casino. For the Seminole Tribe of Florida, they have a lot of work ahead of them to recover from this. I hope they can honor the legacy of The Mirage as they redevelop the property.
The mirage needs to stay open. It was one of the first major casinos that put Las Vegas on the map. My Grammy was there when it first opened, it should stay the same. 1989 wasn’t that long ago, it’s only halfway through its lifespan.
I may head by their tonight to walk the Las Vegas Strip to see The Mirage Hotel Casino one 1⃣ VERY VERY Last time before it closes on Wednesday July 17th, 2024.
Absolutely a joke. Tons of people sitting on machines and not playing just waiting for the promotion to start. Literally zero machines available and only half with people actually playing. Very poorly ran by mirage management and Seminole tribe
People sit on the machines and aren't even playing. Half of the slot zones are turned off. I walked around for hours and no one moved from any machines. Table games were completely full. More than half the tables were closed as well. Poorly handled. Waste of time.. had I known I could sit in on a machine without playing I would have just gone there way earlier.
Loved The Mirage. I loved the sports book with that dimly lit giant screen tv. and overall dim lighting. I don't know why. Just did.
I wish I saw this while I was there last week! I would have given the slots a try.

Consider it similar to the native indians who bought the Palms, but instead of only closing for covid, they will be remodeling The Mirage.
Why are they making those decisions, I don't understand! It was Tropicana a few months ago, now it's this one 😢😢😢
Loved the mirage but ready for the hard rock to take over and transform it …
It should’ve been Mandalay Bay.

Going to miss the sigfeid n Roy garden

They should split the 1.6 mil with the employees
Mirage should not allow non players to just sit at the few slots that are turned on.

Hundreds? Sounds like a bust.
