Sweetwater is great. I’ve ordered 2 guitars from them (so far). Their customer service is exemplary.

Yes, Sweetwater has great customer service. I'll most likely be ordering from them again once winter is over.

Hey guy, just noticed your video like the Guitar congratulations on your new purchase. However, my question actually has to do with playability I wanted to know does it say in your paperwork if those are Gibson FRETS or are they just the standard ones and no matter which kind they are. How was the FRET work? Did you find any buzz or have any problems? Was it really easy to play and how was the set up overall after a few days of playing it? I’m always curious as to how people are feeling a few weeks later, but I am considering getting this to preserve a custom shop guitar I have because I spent way too much money on it and I don’t want to keep taking out every night to bars and to gigging or rehearsals. You know what I mean, man thanks really nice Guitar and again congratulations 9:24 9:24 9:24 9:24 9:24 9:24

Unfortunately, there is no paperwork inside the case just a bunch of epiphone stickers and ad for gibson app. However, after researching the frets they do not seem to be gibson frets as comparing the specs on epiphone/gibson websites for the es-355 they are not authentic.
I can say that the necks are chunkier for epiphone as I was able to play a gibson es-355 so I know the difference between the two. Gibson does feel better but not a $5k difference.
In my case everything is perfect for me. No sharp fret ends or discomfort. Fretboard is also smooth. I did no set up as everything feels right for me. We all have our preferences so your experience may differ from mine but I honestly think this guitar is worth it if you are looking for an alternative to the $7k gibson model.
I recommend ordering from sweetwater if you don't like it you can simply return it and get your money back. They did a well done job with mine.

@ thanks buddy. I appreciate that. How was the actual play experience on your personal One Sweetwater is great. I just wondered if the set up was cherry from the start or if you had to do any FRET work on it yourself thanks and again do appreciate it and hope you’re enjoying the guitar.

@@adamswanson8216 The frets/fret ends were great on mine. If I were to nitpick there is a slight abrasion on the 20th fret binding that feels a little uneven that can easily be fixed with smoothing it out but it doesn’t bother me as it still feels great.
The good thing with Sweetwater is they try to fix all small fixable defects on the guitar before it ships out. If you want you can contact a Sweetwater sales engineer and voice this concern to them and I’m sure they will write a note for your guitar if you do purchase from them. That’s how great they are.
