tbh i prefer this one. 10k is too goofy. in this one, the second half is filled with very emotional songs. like i've cried with some of these. 10k is missing that sense of vulnerability
I know what u mean. Part of me selfishly wishes they didn’t blow up because they were basically just turned into a meme. Like yeah there’s irony and playfulness in the album but there’s also some hard hitters.

This album GREW on me like nothing else. When I first listened to it in 2019 I thought it was interesting, it wasn't one of my favorites. But man, after listening to this on and off for 4 years I genuinely think this album is a 10/10. One of my favorite albums of the 2010s
This album made me fall in love with 100 Gecs. After a while I thought I’d heard every genre and type of music, and then I heard this. It was so different/unique to my ears. And so infectious! 10k is good as well, but 1000 Gecs still holds the 1st place title for me!

believe it or not, the remix album is SIGNIFICANTLY louder and more insane than this (would recommend it's sick)
10000 gecs and the tree of clues is a must listen too! they really created an amazing remix compilation to an original album.
