Thank you so much for posting this video, it is super helpful:) I'm actually going to Spain with Greenheart Travel this year after I get my vaccine for an academic year in my junior year. CIEE is an AMAZING program but I actually received a scholarship with Greenheart travel so I'll be traveling with that program. I'm really scared about credits and grades but I am talking to my counselor about it. Do you think teachers in Spain will be able to convert their grading system to the grading system in the U.S, again I'm talking to my counselor about everything so hopefully she'll be able to tell me how that works soon.
@@danag3607 heyy actually Greenheart travel offers scholarships on their website once every year so I applied for their first time traveler scholarship because I've never left the country before in February and I had to do stuff like short essay prompts, a video, teacher recommendation, and general information about yourself, and I won the scholarship in the Spain study abroad program category(bc they award 1 person per category) , and ya I get that a lot I was really scared I wouldn't get the scholarship because I could only go abroad with it. They only offered the scholarship for the semester so its subtracted with the full year amount which was an amazing price for my family. There are also other programs such as CIEE with Ruthanne's discount and ISE gives you a $1000 dollar discount to either blog or vlog your experience in the exchange program and there are some other scholarships they offer too other programs such as YFU and SYA offers scholarships for both merit and financial need. Did you find it hard to follow/pass the classes. Becayse i wanna try to get my diploma there so i dont have to repeat my last year here so that i can go straight to college. (It is not a problem with my gpa bc we dont have that here in belgium, i just need to pass al the classes so above 50)
it depends on the class. I was able to pass everything personally because I studied hard and tried my best. If you don’t do any work it will be difficult
They are definitely okay with LGBTQ+ the whole premise is learning about others cultures. One of my friends studied abroad in France and is apart of the LGBTQ+ community and enjoyed it thoroughly!
