The chief is right to complain because Cheddar decided to look for the chief first in every town before the people therefore Cheddar should have asked if there is chief at Doroboso but he is not right to sack him because in terms of politics Ghana or Doroboso is not belong to the chief

exactly my point.. when Cheddar came to Nsuta..He came to the palace first. after spending some time with the chief and his elders then He visited the market and yhe rest of the people. Is like entering a house without greeting or knocking. Nonetheless Myself and my family are voting massively for Cheddar coming Dec.7th
The 276 constituency tour will take a lot of time if he decides to meet every chief. The palace visit alone takes hours. He may have felt disrespected - True.
But he should know that the likes of Akuffo Addo would make sure that town wouldn’t get any infrastructural development for this “sacking” if he did that to him. Political campaigns are not chief bounded, it’s up to the person campaigning to choose to meet a chief. Some towns have not enstooled a chief yet but the people there vote without any hindrance. Once A politician has been vetted, verified and approved by the electoral commission, there is no chief to stop them. After all, the chief does not build roads or pay the fees for everyone in the town. The people will decide for themselves.

Sometimes we overlook such things, but you’d be surprised how much influence these local leaders have. They’ve been with the people for a long time and could help rally votes for a presidential candidate.
