- Requested by @pattouco. Well, sorry for not having brought any video this week, the reason was because I wasn't in the mood to make videos and I wanted to give a little break to them as well. I'm really sorry for that, I'm very lazy sometimes so...Anyway, here all special quotes of Char from the SRW @2. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Char is being hound by two Amuros. One on the Hi-Nu Gundam, the other is on the Jeeg.
For context - Char chose this path because of the events of Alpha Gaiden as he saw the future caused by those on Earth.
Which doesn't make sense. Alpha Gaiden Earth was melted because of Excelion's gravity shock wave. The endgame has the heroes prevent that shock wave from hitting Earth. The "bad future" concludes and continues as its own timeline while the main story progresses into Alpha 2.
The reason Char chose to initiate the CCA plot is that he is cynical towards mankind. By observing both worlds, he thinks that humanity cannot change themselves with or without the end of the world.
@@manat31790 I want to make things clear. Okay first because of Alpha Gaiden Char became delusional about mankind. When returning to the present he witnessed the corruption within the federation that ended up as the final straw. That leads to Alpha 2 if you choose Sanger as the protagonist Char remembers him but that doesn’t stop him from changing his course. Even after Axis shock/ Orphan light doesn’t change his mind and fights to the end with only a hand full of loyal soldiers dying with him.
Undoubtly the most epic background Axis Battle in SRW
It is funny how many of these voices lines were directly reused in T. I guess don't fix what isn't broken, but at least new lines were added for everyone.
No new lines for all UC characters in T, except for Tobia n gyunei
I love that Heero won't listen to Char's reasons or debate him but will have a debate with Zechs' at the end of Wing about dropping Libra.
Ones a stranger and the other one is brother in law. So yeah

@@zipperman1063 Char technically isn't a stranger in this game. They fought together while Char was Quattro, in Alphas 1 and Gaiden.
@@suchiuomizu Wing crew appearance in the first alpha was almost anecdotal. Most of the time you only control a few of them and just a few scenarios, they join ultra late in the game and their routes usually don't match with the other UC characters so we could say that yes, he's a stranger for Heero.

Fun fact, if you recruited Haman...the thing that's getting dropped on Earth is not Axis but Brain Powered's Orphan.

Heero if you want to think about it is basically a Char-archetype but as a protagonist.

That would be great, to my knowledge though certain copyright issues like Macross would prevent it, based I believe on whether it's a Japan exclusive or released to Asia and beyond.

What app you use to translate live game? Ive wanted to play lots of the Bampresto and Bandai Taticool RPGs SRW, SD Gundam, the Queens Blade ecchi RPG too xD and some of the Gundam Games like Gundam Battle Universe and Gundam Assault Survive 👍
None. He is doing the translations himself, and just editing the videos, not translating the games themselves.

If I may ask, do the SRW OG cast have any interaction with Char and the characters from the other series?
If you mean specific battle quotes or voiced dialogue lines I'm not sure. Been awhile since I played Alpha 2. I'm sure at a bare minimum there's just regular intermission dialogue, but that's probably not what you mean.
I thought Char had a quote for Heero?

Char is well-known as the Red Comet in UC. I haven't seen the One Year War OVAs but there may be nods to him there.
They know about him char is famous in the uc time any time at it other than before the one year war they would know who char is
In Alpha 1 and Alpha Gaiden they all fought together, while Char was Quattro Bajeena. Only the One Year War happened before the Alpha series games started. Almost all of the rest of UC that existed at the time was crammed into Alpha 1: Z (though it technically didn't finish until Alpha Gaiden), ZZ, 0080, 0083, F91, V (08th MS Team wasn't in the Alpha series). And of course Char's Counterattack was an exception, saved for this game (along with Crossbone Gundam). Tobia is the only person in the video who had not previously met him before becoming the Char's Counterattack version (well the only Gundam character, Jeeg hadn't either, but he is just here as a voice actor joke, having the same voice actor as Amuro). No, that would not normally make sense, but that's SRW for you.
Also, the One Year War ended rather differently there. Ending with a ceasefire just before the Battle of A Baoa Qu. This leads to a Zeta story where 'Axis' is a Zeon still led by Gihren Zabi and Haman is still there, but not in control (though after Gihren's death she ends up in control of what is left, which continues into this game, where she ends up joining with either Char, or with you, depending on which route you take).
Char was one of their team mates in alpha and alpha gaiden, so they have a history.

@Zaku God of War 戰神渣古 I always thought that was kind of a stupid decision considering we needed that build up for Char to become what he did in Char's Counterattack. I think he should have more of a role in ZZ.
@Zaku God of War 戰神渣古 Though I guess I wonder if Tomino wouldn't have made Char too light hearted and joke ridden considering he tried to make the tone very comical in the first half.

why was Lt Burning using the GP02 here? wasn't it stolen by Gato?
Gato's dead, 0083 covered in Alpha 1. GP02 is a secret unit, if you get it, you can basically put any UC Gundam pilot into it.

@@krex44 Had to make one correction there, been too long since I played the game. 0083 was covered in Alpha 1 but Gato survived and shows up in this game too, working with Char, piloting the Neue Ziel the whole time this game.

After watching Gundam: Origins, these dialogue are just plain wrong. Char's DEFINITELY not the arrogant prick people make him out to be...

The writing in this 2003 game is based on the 1988 Char's Counterattack movie. Both the film and this game were made *before* The Origin OVA in 2005. It's impossible to blame the developers for not staying true to the future expansion that they could not anticipate. Even if you insist on blaming someone, blame Yoshiyuki Tomino, the guy who created Char himself and wrote him this way in the movie.
Not that it'll matter. The Origin as the series is a reboot, which exists separately from the original series and therefore has nothing to do with the CCA movie. Moreover, the OVA was made as a prequel to The Origin manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. If Super Robot Wars adapt the Origin, it would be treated as different series from the original chronology, with different artworks and a different interpretation of One Year War.
Thing is, anime doesn't necessarily have a 'canon' like Western Shows do. You make material, and if people like it they like it. I mean, Sunrise just kind of said that everything animated was gundam canon just to shut up the American fanbase.
