I've admired your work since 1995 when I first saw your P-51 on the cover of Modeling The Second World War. Your PT boat is amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent, looking forward to your next post.
At some point in my life, I want to be able to turn brass and plastic. Your extensive use of this technique makes just about every model I have seen you build really stand out among other model builders.
PS - It's really great to see what you are up to these days. What a production! I remember seeing your B-25 in Fine Scale Modeler sometime during the 80's ( ? ) and it really was neat. The clear parts of the model were seamless to the fuselage surface and looked very convincing! Keep on trucking!
Amazing work as always Paul, you are one of the few modelers who inspires and motivates me to push myself in the fabrication and modification department of model building
Really appreciate your videos! I'm learning a lot of techniques that I can put to good use. All of this is very fascinating and well received! Amazing stuff. Thank you!
Paul, All I can say is wow! You nailed it! I am greatly impressed how you made such an accurately detailed model with the kit you had to start from. That 50 cal mount was horrendous, but you cleaned it up to look fantastic! Thanks for referencing my Walk around tour of PT658 in Portland OR video for the Life raft details. I spent a lot of time getting that Life raft just right and to see that you used it as an example made me feel pretty proud. Keep up the fantastic work! Jerry Gilmartin (PT658 restoration crewman)
Dejar sir, I'm writing you from Mexico just to let you know that I enjoy profoundly your videos on PT boats. The care and attention to details it is absolutely remarkable. Hopefully, I'm about to receive my own 588. Ships are not exactly my line as I'm a retired pilot and airplanes and helos are my favorite. It happens that my younger brother asked me to build a PT boat as I helped him more than 50-55 years ago, to build a PT 109. I'm sure you can figure out how it ended up the thing with two rascals in charge 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Now, must be different and I found your videos, absolutely helpful to achieve a descent model. Thank you so much for the video and for the incredible work you do.
I'm constantly amazed at the smooth finish of your paint jobs. The entire model is stunning but the paint job really grabs my attention. Particularly nice to see footage of the production/fabrication process too. Thank you for sharing this.
Every video you put out on this channel is excellent stay safe Paul and now I’m off to have an extraction you know what I mean move videos please thanks George in England 🦷😱👍😂
I'm honestly surprised you even bother with using a plastic kit at all. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail are far better. You'd likely save time just starting from scratch!
Another wonderful review and build. Your skills are way beyond mine. Feel free to manufacture spare parts for these kits. I would purchase them. Love the torpedoes.
Wow, you do some INCREDIBLE work. I'd love to watch you do a whole build. Do you have videos where we can see you do an entire build?. I just found your channel and love that you teach us better ways of building models. I'd just love to see how you do an entire model. Similar to this. Also what's that mini lathe called, it seems very cool and precise
for red and white numbers. Look at Woodland Scenics Dry Transfers and transfer them directly to the kit or to clear decal film. You would need a white and red set's. Also could have made a stencil and painted it. Nice work Does your boat have the late or early positioned forward 50.cal tub? I have a 1/35th scale PT365 mid-war Elco boat in the works. Had to use the forward cabin of Pt 109 on a late war hull. With the same engine ventilation system as yours.
Incredible job on the boat, video production is excellent as well.
Just watching is a genuine treat. Thank you, Mr. Budzik.
Great work and Narrated friend
I subscribed to you for your work and narrative
A lot of guys build models on YT and they look good to great. You sir, are a modeler. Incredible work!
After watching your videos making this kit I tossed mine in the trash. Thanks for taking the wind from my sails.

You have rally made a silk purse out of a sows ear. Fantastic result.

You skill is unmatched! It is almost too bad that you had to paint the torpedoes, because they looked awesome bare.
