Nicolás Reyes agreed. I loved the ride fallout 3 took me on. It makes me sad to think how much time has passed since I played it last. Times where simple back then now everything sucks
I really liked it, I only wished fallout 3 music was used though because it has a very different dark style whereas fallout 4s is about about hope restoring to the wastes. Fallout 3 is where everything gets harder every day.
was 14 when it came out and got it from a friend. I've played an hour at first and didnt manage to leave the vault and i thought the game was something like doom 3 so i didnt play it anymore... untill 3 months later when i got bored and had another go.When i picked it up again and exited the vault, eyes adjusting to the light and seeing the wasteland for the first time just struck in me with a feeling i can't explain. Missed megaton and ended up at the super duper mart through Springvale and killed some raiders with my bat...needles to say i ended up playing hundreds of hours of it, hundreds more on new vegas, played ever single other fallout game extensively, read everything there is about the lore and got a brotherhood of steel tattoo. This right here is what started it all, thank you
2022 still unforgettable first video game ever got me hooked to the fallout franchise. Take a look from fallout 1 on pc to now. Always will love this unforgettable franchise. Peace years down the road when I’m 21. I’ll check this and think wow.
Best game ever i played in my life when i first launched it on cd 2014 i was playing for 15hours on a day and listening galaxy news radio all day unforgetabble experience miss old good times when story was better of graphich :(
I've been thinking about this game a lot lately. Fallout 3 was one of the first console games I ever played (I was probably 13 years old at the time.) I remember so clearly the first time I ever turned the game on, on my cousin's hand-me-down X-Box 360. I remember being so blown away by the graphics (lol), I remember instantly being absorbed by the story, being so confused about where the hell to go for BB gun training lol. I remember dying a thousand times trying to find the atrium because I didn't know how to use the in-game compass yet and was just wandering around in a dazed confusion. Then finally, the sweet release of escape. Saying goodbye to your childhood best friend, possibly forever. The tearing screech of the vault door peeling open for the first time in centuries, the slow thump of the music as you ran toward sunlight and a rusty-grate door... And then stepping out into the wasteland for the first time in your entire life, something I would do a hundred times in several different games - but it was never as shiver-inducing as that first time. Seeing the capital wasteland in all its dusty, radioactive-green glory is something I will never forget. I spent probably four-hundred hours in that game. It was my video game first love and no matter how many times it bugged, lagged, and crashed, it will always have a special place in my heart.
@@darkblaze373 fallout 4 is a fun game but imo nowhere near the experience fallout 3 was. I'm possibly seeing the game through my nostalgia filter, but 3 was more zany, more fun, and had a ton more personality than 4 could ever dream of having. the dlc for 3 alone is better than all of 4, that being said 4 is still fun in its own way. the graphics are pretty, the environments and fights are engaging, and the story is pretty ok! (plus the MUSIC is BANGING) and I love building my own settlement. 3 is my first love, so take what I said with a grain of salt, but 4 just doesn't have as much personality imo. still, give it a shot! you'll def have fun with it
Got this game when I was 7 years old for christmas in December 2008, one of the best games I've ever played and will always hold a special place in my heart. Fuck I wish I could go back to 2009.
Jeeez, this game started it all for me after the halo series. I was so emotionally invested as well. Every mission meant something. The dlcs were amazing and over all such a sick story
Ughhhhhhhhhhh i forgot about fallout........ 7 years passed,i was getting a theme for my discord and they had a fallout theme, and i was like "fallout?" Why does this sound and look so familiar. And then i died of nostalgia, because in a second, all the memories of playing this game rushed into my mind
This was seriously beautiful man ... brings back SO many memories of when I first played this game. Hard to believe that Fallout 3 came out about 7 years ago from today, and even harder to believe that Fallout 4 is coming out really soon! Awesome job with the editing in this video btw and you should definitely make more of these; earned yourself a like & sub! :D Also, I apologize for spamming your comments like this, but I’ve actually got a channel of my own that I’ve been working pretty hard on for a while now. My channel focuses mainly on Fallout, but I also have a Shoutout series/contest intended to help smaller RUclipsrs grow their channels. No obligation of course, but if you could check me out and let me know what you think when you find some free time, I’d really appreciate it! :D

"An unforgettable experience" indeed.
simply the best game ever

So true. I really wished Fallout 4 was more dark, and more ominous. It always seemed to easy.

I was 21 at the time this came out, and I have so many memories of it still. I miss when games made me feel like this one did.
In my opinion I think the Tree mod has always looked stupid
+flightofthetallguy It really does. It ruins the atmosphere of the game.
Its cannon if you do the Harold quest
Ah, remember that one kid who used a cuss word in every sentence. The kid who owned that cave thing.
