well they are soft, but you dont wanna actually crush it...
We have a specific kind of egg here which they cook in some sauce/soup for a long time, and they shrivel up into small hard eggs that has tons of flavor to them, it’s a really tasty snack.
I’d say my balls feels almost the same as those cooked “Iron Eggs”, which is like you said, still squishy but harder than a hard boiled egg.
