I have gotten some info on field size, farmhouse optimization, and harvest time that was super handy. I may have lost my crops because they took to long to harvest. I think two farmhouses with a couple of families is better than 1 with 4.
Also my food stall issue may be partly because we have too many stalls and they can't stay stocked with the 3 kinds of food.
Let me know what you think. We will keep learning!
Smaller fields help immensely before you unlock heavy plow.
You might wanna import cows and oxen to release in the pasture. Plus, there's no one in the oven, and you can burn the fields and turn into another pasture.
And don't forget to buy ox and horses for your buildings.
The cruelty of Lord Patchy is illustrated by his putting the tannery in the middle of town...
Heir, you need to build a forester hut near your woodcutter and logging buildings so that they dont have go so far for trees
Let’s goo, we need more of this content when it comes out!!!
Hey heir with the burgage plot add ons, the vegetable garden output is the only one that produces more depending on the size of the add on/back yard. So make the ones with large yards vegetable gardens and all the other ones make as small as possible because it maximizes room/output
Awsome series!!
I cant wait until i get my hands on this game looks so good!
When you couldn't find your wheat, it was probably because it was already being moved from storage to the production building. If you click the little arrow to the left of all your material amounts, it will show your total goods meaning goods currently in your storehouse and goods being allocated to production buildings.
Just started to try this game and it’s quite pleasing to build your own city. Btw the top bar that shows your commodities has two options one is it shows excess and the other is it shows all your stock. You’ve been only showing excess stores. You can change this by clicking on the arrow next to commodities.
You can reasign people to other work so that you connect people closer to work locations also.
I guess you should also set some policies in your storehouses, so they store only these goods, which are required for industries nearby. Better logistics etc. Also, I believe if you can't manage the harvest in time, the whole output of your field is lost. So, you really need to boost your farms when harvesting
Love it!
Logistics is the one of the biggest kickers on this game when it comes to fulfilling gameplay it seems. Getting your grainary and storehouse workers running the market stalls is clutch to increase the productivity of the resource workers.
IE there are 2 families assigned to the woodcutter's lodge. If half of them are operating a market stall, they aren't cutting wood.
I'll add another tip that has been discovered. The storehouse/tavern combo is buggy. Storehouse workers will remove ale from the tavern. Unassign ale from the storehouse inventory to ensure that everything stays in the brewery. You'll see storehouse workers rolling kegs out of the tavern while tavern workers are rolling them out of the storehouse. Gotta be a bug. It's like putting a humidifier and dehumidifier in the same room and watching them battle it out.
Patchy's great kingdom. Yet no one, doubt even he, has taken a bath.
You can spend a lot of that money on more oxen and horses to move around materials
Only eggs and vegetables for Patchy's peasants!
If only their was a mod to turn Patchy into Greasus goldtooth as the village became more prosperous. "Dat looks shinny, I'll have it!"
The forage is hot. Also gives you herbs.
Also if you make your market area to big you have way to many people working un-stocked markets wasting time so you only want about 6 market stalls per area
If anyone's traumatically obsessed with hardcore Medieval warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
still no half-pipe, I see
Some people take gaming way too seriously. Who cares if youre not doing everything perfectly? Its a game, it really really REALLY doesnt matter lol. Just enjoy playing and dont let those people get to you
