- First set of clips from BLRC's RTVT held at Horsford over the club's 50th anniversary weekend. Please hang out to the end, and leave a comment, a nice one! And do have a look at some of our earlier videos. Like this? Like them for sure as the style is similar.
The backing track is a cover of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb by the best guitarist you've probably never heard of, Kfir Ochaion. And yes, i did spot the typo in the credits... But it was too late by then...
Great video. Great soundtrack. Really enjoyed that!
Thank you.
Congratulations on the video from Barcelona. Great example of British music, cars and dogs
Thank you for you kind comment.
Looks like an excellent weekend and awesome choice in music, never go wrong with a bit of Floyd....
Pleased you liked it. I use a couple more versions of Comfortably Knumb on other clip selections you might like to track down and compare...
@@brecklandlandroverclub6223 Have subbed to channel and will have a look..
Love the music. It's perfect for the event.
Thank you. Another set from this event uses a different cover of the same Pink Floyd track. Check it out and let us know which one you prefer...
What Landrovers? All I could hear was comfortably numb as mu eyes were closed.......the cover was SUPERB! Oh and I lied, I did sneak a peek at the landies and the collection it was too!
One of the other sets from this event also use a version of Comfortably Knumb, as do a selection from about a year ago. Pleased you enjoyed it.
Looks like a lot of fun.
It usually is. Usually!
FANTASTICO! ! !
New subscriber from Australii.
We had an Englishman set up landrover trials courses in Brisbane in the 80', Ken Lovell if my spelling is correct and this brings back some great memories.
Ta very mucha.
Pleasure. Pleased you enjoyed watching from 'down unda'...
...and listening, of course...
@@brecklandlandroverclub6223 Beauty Newc!
thanks for sharing
Land Rover series 4x4 clasic legends😍
Excellent terrain and really showed the capabilities of all those lovely LandRover I still can’t stand the dubbed music so I lower the volume and I do this to any video because it’s not needed if it’s covering motors in action!
Awesome 👍
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
A series LR in good condition I believe these days will fetch north of UKP 10K. I wouldn't want to expose mine to this kind of abuse.
It's what they were built for some might say... But... to cater for all, we run far less challenging trials than this, and just this weekend ran a 'patina' trial
See you don’t need to have piles of MUD to really enjoy your self . THANKS
You are very correct in that statement. In fact, while most of these cars are not an everyday ride in the true sense of the word, they are regular 'road' drives, and most sit on a driveway. Caking them in mud just makes for hard work after the event, and to be honest, who wants to spend half of an RTV on recovery... Yes, it happens, but we aim to minimise the times folk get stuck, and leave the worst of the mud and water to the CCVT guys. There are some videos from this site when wet on the channel, and the CCVT is really (really...) wet... Enjoy.
Why they all might as well be driving Teslars!!
I absolutely concur, it's extremely annoying that illegal broadcast and completely unnecessarily loud music; even though I'm a big Floyd fan and have an original pressing of their fourth album Ummagumma.
To destroy all the sounds! Why they all might as well be driving Teslars, which I believe are much more bad for the environment, than my 47 year old Gigi. I use mine to help restore woodland, because not much else is up to the job.
Brilliant footage though, just love watching muted, please make more with no editing. We love and appreciate your hard work putting these together 👍
Thanks for your comments. There's more Floyd (ish) on the second set which is here waiting to be uploaded. I may, as a 'Breckland Bonus' for LubeTube add the footage again at the end of this set but with the backing track removed. Stay tuned. No pun intended...
Another one that would like to hear the engines instead of "music"😃
@@brecklandlandroverclub6223 that would be awesome, and pure delight.
Thank you
Why the music? Spoilt the video for me, totally unnecessary.
Why the music? In all honesty... I like it, and I make the videos...
@@brecklandlandroverclub6223 I would have thought a running commentary on the vehicles and modifications to them would make the video more interesting but hey ho you make the videos so you do want you want, I was only saying it spoilt it for me.
Indeed...I'd like to hear the engines but ended up watching the whole thing muted. If I wanted music I could always add my own but I can't add my own original sounds... Lovely footage though. Thanks.
Music is in appropriate to the event are trying to cater to the yanks
The Yanks? I'm confused. Pink Floyd are about as British as you can get...
Don't like the music accompaniment to this video. Nothing is better music than the noise from the fire and the rod (internal combustion). Prove me wrong. While I like P. Floyd, this is not music for 4-wheeling, it's an annoyance. EDIT: reading further, I see I am not alone in my feelings. 😆
But not unanimous by a long way... Thank you for your comment.
