That's definitely one of the issues, there's so many people recording in non-ideal conditions and don't use the microphone correctly, an ideal microphone review is going to be done in a soundtreated room with the microphone place properly I mean you can even hear in my partially sound through the room there's still a lot of reverb if you get the microphone too far away but 90% of it's gone if you keep it in the right spot so, using your microphone right and getting at least some sound treatment to reduce the majority of the river makes a huge difference but there's just so many people reviewing microphones in bad rooms they have it way too far away or something, I think the majority of people who refuse they're just like look at the shiny new thing I got LOL
Personally I don't like having the microphone next to my face either but it's not really that much of an inconvenience. But if I were one of those people I would look for a small diaphragm condenser with like a super or hypercardoid pick up pattern but I still don't like the way those microphones sound when they're a foot or two or three away, but each thorough when I guess, my microphones will continue to stay close and hopefully I'll sound better than most RUclipsrs LOL, I have a couple of gaming channels plus this one and I prefer for them to all of sound as good as possible
Thanks for the Ideal but There are probably not many people using studio type microphone outdoors, but If i review a shotgun mic, lavaliere or a mic made to go on camera, Those are likely to be used outdoors and ill probably do a indoor and outdoor segment on those type s of microphones when i review them.
Great advice, Danny. Also, what mic and boom arm are you using in this video, and do you have affiliate links for them?

😂 And that is exactly why all reviews on one particular microphone sound different.

@@dannylightning-audio-reviews i know people who refuse to keep their mics close to their heads cause they say it is inconvenient.

Any mics can be good indoors because you can treat your room. You should review outdoors to get more subs.
