BMW R1100R handlebar conversion

I've bought some normal bars to replace the standard BMW handlebar set up. This is for a couple of reasons, one mine has some chunks ground out of them for some reason and two because I like the look of normal bars better.
I got these bars off eBay from a German company as a kit specifically for the R1100R. It ended up costing about the same as a second hand set of GS top clamp and GS heated grip bars.

I have a R1150rs which i have been toying with the idea of flat barring using ABM.

It’s worked out well for me so far. I’m still not that many miles in to using them though.

Hey, so are you saying the R1100GS/ S triple clamp and bars will fit the R1100R?

Yes, from what I’ve found out and all the parts fiche diagrams. It looks like the GS top clamp is a direct bolt on which allows you to use the stock bars. I’ve not done the research on the S for the clip on style.

Can you share the hand guard model?
