I have to disagree.. I took nitro tech for about a year and yes it's very effective, can't argue with that part but the taste doesn't compare to 100% Gold Standard whey.. I just started taking it so idk how effective it's going to be but I should get a good idea because I'm just getting back into working out.

Hi, I'm about to start drinkig this supplement. Let me give you a little background. I'm 36 years old, i recently started training for the first time in my life (3 monts ago). I have not practiced any sports since i was in highschool, i work behind a desk every day, 8 to 11 hours a day. I'm 5.5" - 155 punds. Always been a skinny guy. Although i have not noticed any big changes in my body i feel way better now than when i started going to the gym. I've been lifting weght and doing cardio these past few months. How do you recomend i drink this. Any other tip will be really appreciated. Thanks!

Miss Hern usualy when you want to gain lean muscle it’s ideal to drink the shake abt 30 min after working out, and for mass gain drink right after working out
Protein is food.. you can drink it anytime of the day. You can bake with it. Put it in smoothies in oats ,in sludges etc etc. Your body keeps absorbing more protein even 20hrs after gymnastics so timing dont really matter.

Most companies say to take it after workout cause is convinient so Its normal. Try it mixing one scoop with your cooked oats for bfast . Many recipes also on ytube with protein. And Will keep you full and loaded and add another scoop post if it takes some time to go home and prepare a meal. Having amino acids from protein especially morning and post train in your system is always a good idea as they will force the body to enter the rebuild function faster. Recovery comes with carbs and a good 6-8hrs sleep

Also the insulin/fat storing myth has been debunked several times by studies so it is irrelevant wheter you raise insulin or not.

Take after a workout. Since that's when your body needs the protein for use in protein synthesis. No need to rush in taking it after a work out either. You can have it 2 to 3 or more hours after. Unless you worked out in a fasted state in that case right after would be necessary.

One simple test I do when I buy a protein shake is I put half a scoop in a bowl and add hot water + vinegar. True shakes agglutinate instantly. Muscle tech products fail miserably. I don't know if it's the legitimacy of the muscletech products around my town (Nairobi,Kenya) or it's just sheer greed of the company to supply sub-standard products?

Custom protein blends. How? Take a bender, add a hydrolyzed whey isolate or just simply an isolate powder. Add as many cups of steel cut oats or oat flour as you want (carbs), add a banana or two. Add a table spoon or two of coconut oil or olive oil or peanut butter. There you go. That's a clean protein shake which can also be used as a mass gainer. I replace the whey powder with liquid egg whites cuz I don't like the flavored whey powders.
This is a little old but I'll answer anyway. Your answer depends. If you workout and your on a rest day then yes it's still beneficial to do a protein shake. If you don't workout at all then no its not beneficial.

2 scoops of protein for beginners is not a good idea. He will be wasting the protein as his body won't absorb more than 30 grams of protein in a day. Rest will be flushed out from the body. I suggest u to take only 1 scoop of protein per day initially for atleast 6 months, once u start heavy workout routine u can increase it to 2 scoops per day.

Calculate your BMI and if you want to lose weight -300 or 500 if you want to gain weight add 300 to 500 ..... and about that you can use 40 percent carbs 40 percent protein 20 percent fat or use whatever you want...... 1 gram of protein per pound it's a lot .. just an advice

The Nitro Tech line typically differs in the different protein that they use such as whey, casein, or a combo. I've reviewed most of them just type in nitro tech and the gym rat world into RUclips search and you can check them out. 👊
creeper plays :D, your stomach will get blocked? What does that even mean? I know a lot of people who drink 4 or 5 protein shakes per day if they are on a massive bulk. You might get slightly constipated if you aren’t eating lots of fiber, but you should be fine. I personally do about 4 scoops per day.

Late to this reply but, it doesn't build muscle, you build muscle. This is a supplement. Building muscle usually requires lifting with aims at progressively heavier weights. You will hear from every legit body builder that nutrition is key. When you build muscle, usually you are in a bulking phase. While it is possible to build muscle in a cutting phase (losing fat) it is usually only for first timers that this happens or people who used to have muscle and then got fat. Once you get down to a certain fat percentage, you will generally have to choose. What helps with building muscle is caloric intake. Go to a gym that has a scale that tells you your daily metabolic rate (how many calories your body burns per day) and if you are trying to build muscle, you will need to work out and most likely eat more than this. (Don't forget to factor in the calories you add for your workouts, so like 500 extra calories for lifting) If you are trying to get your abs to show up, this simply requires fat to be below a certain percentage. This generally falls in the cutting phase where you eat at a deficit. You still go work out, but you will notice you losing strength as you cut, but you are also losing fat. What is the point of supplements? When you are down to calculating your daily intake, you will probably find you aren't getting enough protein. Generally you will want 2g per kg of body weight or 1g per lb of body weight. It's easier to hit these numbers with a drink that gives you more protein than eating eggs or chicken breasts. That is what supplements are for. Creatine is also a good one.
Real food. Then supplements to help make up the macros that's hard to get in from just food alone. I personally use optimum nutrition gold standard whey isolate. No crap just what you need and doesn't a lot of sugar. Anything with 1 gram to zero sugar is best.

I'd stick to optimum nutrition gold standard. Half the amount of sugar to at just 1 gram. Plus this also seems to get me a bit bloated. Which never happened before taking this. Disappeared when I switched back to optimum nutrition.
@@lastency it's a big difference when you're trying decrease your total sugar consumption for the day. 1 or 2 grams all over the place adds up. I keep under 6 grams daily.
If you take one shake preworkout one post and one before bed you are almost getting twice the creatine you should. One scoop has 3g creatine monohydrate in it. If you take 5g creatine (suggested serving) of creatine not knowing this has creatine in it on top of that... well you’re gonna be overdosing big time. I can’t believe he didn’t read the label.
The Martas that's a myth. Take how much you want, two scoops i preferable since you get increasingly closer to your daily protein needs with that amount.

that's a good protein it doesnt contain acesulfame pottassium which can cause cancer if digested in big amounts and may kill you in the future

Generally you will want 2g per kg of body weight or 1g per lb of body weight. It's easier to hit these numbers with a drink that gives you more protein than eating eggs or chicken breasts. That is what supplements are for. Creatine is also a good one.
I see you have iso 100 back there which one would you recommend for building muscle.
Real food. Then supplements to help make up the macros that's hard to get in from just food alone. I personally use optimum nutrition gold standard whey isolate. No crap just what you need and doesn't a lot of sugar. Anything with 1 gram to zero sugar is best.

I'd stick to optimum nutrition gold standard. Half the amount of sugar to at just 1 gram. Plus this also seems to get me a bit bloated. Which never happened before taking this. Disappeared when I switched back to optimum nutrition.

@@lastency it's a big difference when you're trying decrease your total sugar consumption for the day. 1 or 2 grams all over the place adds up. I keep under 6 grams daily.

If you take one shake preworkout one post and one before bed you are almost getting twice the creatine you should. One scoop has 3g creatine monohydrate in it. If you take 5g creatine (suggested serving) of creatine not knowing this has creatine in it on top of that... well you’re gonna be overdosing big time. I can’t believe he didn’t read the label.

Ike Sukari I wouldn’t. I use this and one scoop is 24 grams of protein. You shouldn’t really eat more than 30 grams of protein per meal.
The Martas that's a myth. Take how much you want, two scoops i preferable since you get increasingly closer to your daily protein needs with that amount.
