Vermithor was King Jaehaerys I Targaryen’s dragon. Silverwing was his sister-wife Queen Alysanne’s dragon. Vermithor is bronze in color. Vermithor is second largest, but Silverwing is very large as well (larger than Meleys or Caraxes). Vermithor and Silverwing are a pair and likely the parents of some of the other dragons.
Silverwing is glorious, everyone was dying to claim Vermithor meanwhile Silverwing is also large enough to stand against Vhagar and has a much better temperament.

They couldn't bring anyone to try and claim Silverwing first because Vermithor was basically guarding the way in... So for anyone to try and claim Silverwing they would have to bypass Vermithor, The Bronze FURY, and no one was stupid enough to attempt it. Then it makes sense to try and claim Vermithor first. Ulf only bypassed him because Vermithor was busy roasting all the potential riders and finding himself someone he would accept as rider - Hugh. Ulf is one lucky lucky guy! 😂 Also someone said in one of the comments that Vermithor and Silverwing are a pair so I totally believe Vermithor blocking ANYONE from getting to his baby mama and the clutch of eggs!

In the ending shot those are Rhaenyra's Syrax, now Hugh's Vermithor, and now Ulf's Silverwing. Jace has Vermax, Addam has Seasmoke, and Baela has Moondancer. We'll see what happens with Rhaena and Sheepstealer. Edit: I forgot about Daemon and Caraxes lmao
Jace is 100% right, if any lowly commoner can claim a dragon, it completely eliminates any type of legitimacy he has, which he SHOULDN'T have in the first place because he's a bastard, but the show doesn't emphasis enough how big of a deal that is.. Rhaenyra is arrogant and entitled to think she can just dodge the consequences of trying to pass off 3 bastards as legit royal inheritors.
Not only eliminates his legitimacy but it will harm their dynasty. It will harm the whole work Jaeherys has done in his 50 years of peace and Targaryen propaganda.
His grandfather, the king, recognized his claim so he is technically legitimate. Bastard in conception but not legally assuming if things work the same in their world as it did in ours.
This may be this is a book thing, I didn't read the books. I am trying to understand why everyone cares that Jace is not Lenore's son? His mother is Targaryen her DNA doesn't disappear because she had a son with Strong. Viserys told Corylus and Rheaynese that even if their son fathered a child with his daughter once they ascended the throne they would do it under the name Targaryen - his mother's last name. He is not adopted from the Strong family - he is her actual son. I don't get why people think that he is not legitimate?

That was never a dispute in this situation, he's a bastard and placing him in the line of succession under false presences (claiming he is Laenor's son) is high treason. Viserys, Rhaenyra and anyone else who is complicit are effectively traitors to the crown if the truth gets out. The law is the law, even kings and queens have to abide by them or risk a justified rebellion
It doesn't matter if the dragon knew each other or are friends they are extremely territorial and are loyal to their dragons as you can see Seasmoke being protective over Addam as she approached.
Hugh's mom is implied to be Saera Targaryen, a notoriously rebellious and “free-spirited” princess. She was the daughter of King Jaehaerys I, and the sister to Baelon Targaryen (Viserys's and Daemon's father) and Aemon Targaryen (Rhaenys’s father). Hugh is Rhaenys, Viserys and Daemon's cousin, while Ulf is Viserys and Daemon’s bastard half-brother.

its not really like that, since in modern times people understand that politicians and presidents are still just normal humans like everyone else...in HOTD people still believed the Targaryens were genuinely a superior breed of special people, and a big part of that is because they were the only ones who could control dragons, and dragons themselves were viewed as god-like beings. This war is doing major damage to that perception, because first we proved that dragons are just animals that can be killed like any other, and now we are proving that the Targaryens arent even special for controlling them. Soon after this war, and especially after dragons go extinct, people are gonna start wondering why theyre even following the Targaryen rule.
Real talk, if im Hugh, and my mother taught me im a bastard and my cousins are kings, and i just claimed my grandfather's dragon, my first thought once im in that saddle is "Well, why shouldn’t i be king?"
That was not Daemons dragon, his dragon has a way longer neck and is larger than that. It also makes no sense why Daemon would just teleport back to Dragonstone with no scene showing it after being gone for so many episodes.
Silverwing belonged to Queen Alysanne (old Jahaerys' sister wife) and is Vermithor's mate. Which is funny, because Vermithor is all fury and rage and Silverwing is the tamest, friendliest dragon in the history of dragons, it has always been friendly to humans. I'm surprised they didn't let Rhaena claim her. Jahaerys and Alysanne were in love and so were their dragons.
Vermithor was the dragon of King Jaehaerys. The Old King we saw in the first scene of the first episode of Season 1. Silverwing was his sister-wife, Queen Alysanne's, dragon. King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne had 13 children. All of them, including Queen Alysanne, died in King Jaehaerys' lifetime. The most important children are: Prince Aemon. He was the eldest son and father of Rhaenys. He used to be the dragonrider of Ceraxes. He died in war shot by an arrow. Prince Baelon. He was the second son and was married to his sister, Princess Alyssa. He was the father of Viserys, Daemon and Ulf. He used to ride Vhagar and died from a burst appendix. Princess Alyssa Targaryen. She was the eldest daughter and was married to her brother, Baelon. She was Viserys and Daemon's mother (not Ulf because Ulf is a bastard). She died in childbirth. She used to ride Meleys. Princess Daella Targaryen. She was the mother of Queen Aemma (Rhaenyra's mother). Daella died in childbirth just like her daughter Aemma. Princess Saera Targaryen. She was Hugh's mother. She was very promiscuous so Jaehaerys disowned her. She then ran away to the Free Cities and set up her own brothel and became really successful. She then had Hugh. She's dead by this point in the show. We don't know the cause of death. Likely illness.

Balerion is usually the most popular choice in polls. But for HOT D, it’s Silverwing. She’s telling me any buffoon can claim her. Silverwing is not much of a fighter. She’s nothing special in size. She was never as fast as Meleys. In the first episode of Season 2, the dragon who was afraid to go passed The Wall happened to be Silverwing that Cregan mentioned to Jace. She’s the most docile and friendliest among dragons although I don’t know why she rejected Rhaena repeatedly. I say if Ulf can claim her by being a drunken klutz, so could I if I had Old Valyrian blood in me. Maybe she wanted a boy this time after Alysanne (Daemon’s grandmother)? I really dig Silverwing’s design too. Love the shape of her head. I think her and Meleys have the best design starting from the shape of their heads. It was so fun to watch Ulf joyride her. Alysanne Targaryen was known as the Good Queen, and Silverwing seems to share the same temperament as her original rider. Silverwing reminds me of mares in horses. My favorite mare is Zenyatta. In war prior to automobiles, most of the military used mares as they’re generally quieter than male horses. If you go horseback riding, horses are usually mares or geldings (castrated males). The biggest and oldest dragon that Team Black has is Vermithor, Silverwing’s lover/mate. The third largest dragon behind Balerion and Vhagar. He’s about 75%-80% the size of Vhagar. I think Vermithor beats Caraxes if both were riderless or they had an equally talented rider on them. He’s just bigger than Caraxes and can chomp on Caraxes’ noodle neck. Maybe after we get to the Battle Above the Gods Eye, Caraxes might return being No. 1. But I think that has more to do on how badass and awesome Daemon is as a rider and fighter and not Caraxes’ raw talent. For now, I like the designs of the she-dragons from the Silver and Red Queens more. I think for male viewers, they’re going to love Vermithor. He’s the closest male equivalent to Vhagar in size while still being 80 years younger. Aemond was smart not to want that smoke coming from Dragonstone. I think Vhagar can wipe out four or five of the smaller dragons if Seasmoke happens to be the biggest one because Vermax and Moondancer are too small, but not against Vermithor backed up by Silverwing, Seasmoke, and Syrax. Caraxes isn’t even there yet. Vhagar may not handle Vermithor and Caraxes teamed up. Aemond should’ve not injured Sunfyre. Now he’s asking his sister for help in the Episode 8 trailer and for her to get on Drogon’s mama who has zero experience in fighting. Big mistake, Aemond. The top 3 heavy hitters among the dragons who remains alive are *Vhagar,* *Vermithor,* and *Caraxes.* There’s a considerable gap between them and the rest. Caraxes is half the size as Vhagar but is the fiercest among the smaller ones after Vermithor. Heavyweights Balerion (dead) *Vhagar* *Vermithor* *Caraxes* Meleys (dead) The rest are middleweights or lower. Silverwing is the third largest dragon in the Dance behind Vhagar and Vermithor but her personality is so docile, I can’t put her among the heavyweights when it comes to battle. Silverwing is a good girl dragon like Shimo in Godzilla x Kong after she was out of Skar King’s control. Silverwing is the perfect example of being kind or don’t be confrontational, and you can live longer. Episode 8 is going to be EPIC!

Verminthor felt so cool and at ease with Rhaenyra... Now, Verminthors last rider was King Jaehaerys. King Jaehaerys loved Rhaenyra (she was 6 or 7 years old when he died). Dragons are said to share emotions and feelings with their riders (till they get a new rider which i guess bypasses and overrides previous stuff)
I don’t know why everyone expected Corlys to embrace Addam as a son. They don’t have that kind of relationship yet. The “well done” was as much acknowledgment as I think Addam was hoping for.

47:47 (No Spoiler) Caraxes, as described in an interview, is a dragon that is very battle-hardened, very fierce, and doesn't take crap from anyone. Rhaenyra dragon, on the other hand, is pretty much useless except for the ability to lay eggs.

And doubly lucked out with not just the platinum blonde-white Targaryen hair, but the 2nd BIGGEST dragon in Westeros. It makes sense that jaehery's dragon likes courage. Jaeherys was that GUY. He once fought one of the lovers of Hugh's mom after the guy requested a trial by combat. He said; Which of these old man is going to fight me? The king rose old up andsaid "this old man!". it's a cool story.

How right he was! 23:13 Exactly! He's the queen's son and named heir. If they fight for her out of respect t for Viserys' wishes then they should respect Jace as her heir, maybe moreover because he might get more respect from the common people because he's a bastard. 40:17 Silverwing is the most docile of the tamed dragons. She's so pretty! 45:58 Vermithor is "The Bronze Fury". That was him behind Rhaenyra but he was further away so he looked smaller based on perspective.
Silverwing is the most calm of the dragons. The queen that rode her had silverwing around people a lot, especially since they traveled the 7 kingdoms flying ALOT. If anything, they should have started with silverwing since she's use to being around humans
Overall one of my personal favorites episodes of HOD so far. This proves that you don't need action packed scenes to create something magical. But anybody else feel this season was really affected by the strike? Just seems like this season was written for 10 or more episodes? Feels like we are just building towards something that needs 2-3 more episodes, not one. I don’t really understand why this couldn’t have been an entire season of the show? Condal seemed so completely uninterested in why the dragons chose these guys but like, imagine a show where we track six or seven small folk, get their backstories, come to really care about them, and then see each of them try to claim a dragon. We got a little time with Hugh and Ulf but not enough to really want to see them succeed. They both have compelling narratives. Hugh is willing to sacrifice everything if it means his family will be better off for such an all or nothing gamble. Ulf has that kinda charm to him that really screams "this guy is in over his head", with his own self doubts about himself. I really like how Vermithor and Silverwing embody the personalities of their new riders. One is strong and stern with a commanding aura around it that shows such ferocity and anger in such a limited time while the other, interestingly, conveys a more playful demeanor that seems more eager to have fun and enjoy the thrills. And we (at least book readers) knew immediately that Hugh and Ulf were gonna be the ones to do it, because they’re the ones we’d been following. The small folk who died, who cares? The implications surrounding Targaryen power and the stuff with the dragon keepers was cool. It just felt so rushed cramming all of this into one episode, but the ideas were way more interesting than like 80% of season 1. The scene with Aegon struggling to walk got me.. I'm not saying it because I'm Team Green, but man you just have to feel sorry for Aegon at this point. Give Tom Glynn-Carney all the awards - he has been absolutely phenomenal to watch this season!Oscar Tully with balls of Valyrian steel. He really walked Daemon right into his web with Willem Blackwood’s execution… had that planned perfectly & left him absolutely no choice. That scene felt like peak Game of Thrones, Oscar not only earned the respect of his bannermen but also managed to completely outplay Daemon at the same time. that ending shot with the three dragons and Rhaenyra eyeing Aemond down is one of my favorite shots of this series. The finale will be insane. Daeron and Tessarion showing up with the Hightower army after all that teasing since Episode 1. The Starks crossing the Twins. Cole and Gywane "beef". Daemon finally getting his army. Possibly a battle shown. There is so much that's about to happen - just enjoy it before we will have to wait 2 years😭
Ulf is doing the equivalent of doing donuts in the parking lot with his new ride. Also probably showing off to his drinking buddies who peer pressured him.

Thats my queen! 🖤 Vermithor is a bronze colour but yes, he looked very red in that last scene, it confused me a bit too, lol. And Silverwings last rider was Queen Alysanne, who was King Jaehaerys wife (the king before Viserys). Jaehaerys rode Vermithor, so him and Silverwing flew together A LOT during Jaehaerys' reign.
last rider of Vermithor was King Jaeherys and his wife Alyssane was the last rider of Silverwing they were the grand-parents of Viserys & Daemon. BTW Deiron's dragon Tessarion "the blue queen" is same size as Sunfyre/Syrax/Seasmoke, their the same batches of eggs laid by Silverwing
In order to claim Caraxes and Vermithor u have to have the dog in u or its up for u. Its why Daemon and Caraxes are the goat pairing Daemon claimed him very young he was the dragon everybody feared u have to be wiling to die.
Rhaenyra in order to get the throne must make the most devastating sacrifice to the system itself. If all dragons can be claimed by anybody than the illusion of the Targaryen power and dynasty goes away n that itself destroys the monarchy to which rhaenyra and jace have their only power from. The class system of the entire society of westeros will be gone thanks to rt actions that could future destroy the realm more than the civil war that is happening now. I get why Rhaenyra is doing what she is doing but the long game is in play n like usual Rt is not thinking about how this shakes the entirety of house targaryen. A great episode.

He alone would be a match for Vhagar that's why Aemond pulled back, let alone have to fight all of them together. Flying in the back is Silverwing, just arrived. And Syrax (female dragon daughter of Silverwing and Vermithor). Vermax (Jace's dragon) is not there and also Seasmoke not there in the picture. Also Caraxes "the blood wyrm" not present but that's a wild card. There's another powerful dragon joining them in next season ;)
If I was an adviser to the queen, I would have gotten her to at least get the potential dragon riders to swear fealty to her before they claim a dragon.
I loved how Silverwing tamed Ulf, but yeah I agree there is a huge possibility that Ulf is gonna betray the Blacks if the Greens give him an incentive to do so. Hell Addam might even betray the Blacks if the Greens offer a really good reward, like the seat of Driftmark. Addam always had that fire deep inside him, and there's a small bit of resentment towards Corlys from what I could tell through this season. So Addam betraying the Blacks to get Driftmark is a possibility there.

Vermithor was King Jaehaerys I Targaryen’s dragon. Silverwing was his sister-wife Queen Alysanne’s dragon. Vermithor is bronze in color. Vermithor is second largest, but Silverwing is very large as well (larger than Meleys or Caraxes). Vermithor and Silverwing are a pair and likely the parents of some of the other dragons.
Silverwing is glorious, everyone was dying to claim Vermithor meanwhile Silverwing is also large enough to stand against Vhagar and has a much better temperament.

They couldn't bring anyone to try and claim Silverwing first because Vermithor was basically guarding the way in... So for anyone to try and claim Silverwing they would have to bypass Vermithor, The Bronze FURY, and no one was stupid enough to attempt it. Then it makes sense to try and claim Vermithor first. Ulf only bypassed him because Vermithor was busy roasting all the potential riders and finding himself someone he would accept as rider - Hugh. Ulf is one lucky lucky guy! 😂

Jace is 100% right, if any lowly commoner can claim a dragon, it completely eliminates any type of legitimacy he has, which he SHOULDN'T have in the first place because he's a bastard, but the show doesn't emphasis enough how big of a deal that is.. This may be this is a book thing, I didn't read the books. I am trying to understand why everyone cares that Jace is not Lenore's son? His mother is Targaryen her DNA doesn't disappear because she had a son with Strong. Viserys told Corylus and Rheaynese that even if their son fathered a child with his daughter once they ascended the throne they would do it under the name Targaryen - his mother's last name. He is not adopted from the Strong family - he is her actual son. I don't get why people think that he is not legitimate?

its not really like that, since in modern times people understand that politicians and presidents are still just normal humans like everyone else...in HOTD people still believed the Targaryens were genuinely a superior breed of special people, and a big part of that is because they were the only ones who could control dragons, and dragons themselves were viewed as god-like beings. This war is doing major damage to that perception, because first we proved that dragons are just animals that can be killed like any other, and now we are proving that the Targaryens arent even special for controlling them. Soon after this war, and especially after dragons go extinct, people are gonna start wondering why theyre even following the Targaryen rule.

Which is funny, because Vermithor is all fury and rage and Silverwing is the tamest, friendliest dragon in the history of dragons, it has always been friendly to humans. King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne had 13 children. All of them, including Queen Alysanne, died in King Jaehaerys' lifetime.
The most important children are:
Prince Aemon. He was the eldest son and father of Rhaenys. He used to be the dragonrider of Ceraxes. He died in war shot by an arrow.
Prince Baelon. He was the second son and was married to his sister, Princess Alyssa. He was the father of Viserys, Daemon and Ulf. He used to ride Vhagar and died from a burst appendix.
Princess Alyssa Targaryen. She was the eldest daughter and was married to her brother, Baelon. She was Viserys and Daemon's mother (not Ulf because Ulf is a bastard). She died in childbirth. She used to ride Meleys.

Now Godzilla even as small as OG54 and Minus One at 164 feet would murder all these dragons. And I think MonsterVerse Kong could do it too if he can shield himself from fire. But I’m not here to compare dragons to titans.
My favorite dragon from the books is similar to the author’s and it’s Balerion the Black Dread. Bigger than Vhagar. Awesome design. Balerion is usually the most popular choice in polls. But for HOT D, it’s Silverwing. She’s telling me any buffoon can claim her.
Silverwing is not much of a fighter. She’s nothing special in size. She was never as fast as Meleys. In the first episode of Season 2, the dragon who was afraid to go passed The Wall happened to be Silverwing that Cregan mentioned to Jace. She’s the most docile and friendliest among dragons although I don’t know why she rejected Rhaena repeatedly.
I say if Ulf can claim her by being a drunken klutz, so could I if I had Old Valyrian blood in me. Maybe she wanted a boy this time after Alysanne (Daemon’s grandmother)? I really dig Silverwing’s design too. Love the shape of her head. I think her and Meleys have the best design starting from the shape of their heads. It was so fun to watch Ulf joyride her.
Alysanne Targaryen was known as the Good Queen, and Silverwing seems to share the same temperament as her original rider. Silverwing reminds me of mares in horses. My favorite mare is Zenyatta. In war prior to automobiles, most of the military used mares as they’re generally quieter than male horses. If you go horseback riding, horses are usually mares or geldings (castrated males).
The biggest and oldest dragon that Team Black has is Vermithor, Silverwing’s lover/mate. The third largest dragon behind Balerion and Vhagar. He’s about 75%-80% the size of Vhagar. I think Vermithor beats Caraxes if both were riderless or they had an equally talented rider on them. He’s just bigger than Caraxes and can chomp on Caraxes’ noodle neck.
Maybe after we get to the Battle Above the Gods Eye, Caraxes might return being No. 1. But I think that has more to do on how badass and awesome Daemon is as a rider and fighter and not Caraxes’ raw talent. For now, I like the designs of the she-dragons from the Silver and Red Queens more. I think for male viewers, they’re going to love Vermithor. He’s the closest male equivalent to Vhagar in size while still being 80 years younger.
Aemond was smart not to want that smoke coming from Dragonstone. I think Vhagar can wipe out four or five of the smaller dragons if Seasmoke happens to be the biggest one because Vermax and Moondancer are too small, but not against Vermithor backed up by Silverwing, Seasmoke, and Syrax. Caraxes isn’t even there yet. Vhagar may not handle Vermithor and Caraxes teamed up.
Aemond should’ve not injured Sunfyre. Now he’s asking his sister for help in the Episode 8 trailer and for her to get on Drogon’s mama who has zero experience in fighting. Big mistake, Aemond. The top 3 heavy hitters among the dragons who remains alive are *Vhagar,* *Vermithor,* and *Caraxes.* There’s a considerable gap between them and the rest. Caraxes is half the size as Vhagar but is the fiercest among the smaller ones after Vermithor.

Silverwing is the perfect example of being kind or don’t be confrontational, and you can live longer.

She's so pretty! 45:58 Vermithor is "The Bronze Fury". That was him behind Rhaenyra but he was further away so he looked smaller based on perspective.
Silverwing is the most calm of the dragons. The queen that rode her had silverwing around people a lot, especially since they traveled the 7 kingdoms flying ALOT. If anything, they should have started with silverwing since she's use to being around humans

Overall one of my personal favorites episodes of HOD so far. This proves that you don't need action packed scenes to create something magical. But anybody else feel this season was really affected by the strike? Just seems like this season was written for 10 or more episodes? Feels like we are just building towards something that needs 2-3 more episodes, not one. I don’t really understand why this couldn’t have been an entire season of the show? Condal seemed so completely uninterested in why the dragons chose these guys but like, imagine a show where we track six or seven small folk, get their backstories, come to really care about them, and then see each of them try to claim a dragon. We got a little time with Hugh and Ulf but not enough to really want to see them succeed. They both have compelling narratives. Hugh is willing to sacrifice everything if it means his family will be better off for such an all or nothing gamble. Ulf has that kinda charm to him that really screams "this guy is in over his head", with his own self doubts about himself. I really like how Vermithor and Silverwing embody the personalities of their new riders. One is strong and stern with a commanding aura around it that shows such ferocity and anger in such a limited time while the other, interestingly, conveys a more playful demeanor that seems more eager to have fun and enjoy the thrills. And we (at least book readers) knew immediately that Hugh and Ulf were gonna be the ones to do it, because they’re the ones we’d been following. The small folk who died, who cares? The implications surrounding Targaryen power and the stuff with the dragon keepers was cool. It just felt so rushed cramming all of this into one episode, but the ideas were way more interesting than like 80% of season 1. The scene with Aegon struggling to walk got me.. I'm not saying it because I'm Team Green, but man you just have to feel sorry for Aegon at this point. Give Tom Glynn-Carney all the awards - he has been absolutely phenomenal to watch this season!Oscar Tully with balls of Valyrian steel. He really walked Daemon right into his web with Willem Blackwood’s execution… had that planned perfectly & left him absolutely no choice. That scene felt like peak Game of Thrones, Oscar not only earned the respect of his bannermen but also managed to completely outplay Daemon at the same time. that ending shot with the three dragons and Rhaenyra eyeing Aemond down is one of my favorite shots of this series. The finale will be insane. Daeron and Tessarion showing up with the Hightower army after all that teasing since Episode 1. The Starks crossing the Twins. Cole and Gywane "beef". Daemon finally getting his army. Possibly a battle shown. There is so much that's about to happen - just enjoy it before we will have to wait 2 years😭

Vermithor is a bronze colour but yes, he looked very red in that last scene, it confused me a bit too, lol. And Silverwings last rider was Queen Alysanne, who was King Jaehaerys wife (the king before Viserys). Jaehaerys rode Vermithor, so him and Silverwing flew together A LOT during Jaehaerys' reign.

In order to claim Caraxes and Vermithor u have to have the dog in u or its up for u. Its why Daemon and Caraxes are the goat pairing Daemon claimed him very young he was the dragon everybody feared u have to be wiling to die.

Rhaenyra in order to get the throne must make the most devastating sacrifice to the system itself. If all dragons can be claimed by anybody than the illusion of the Targaryen power and dynasty goes away n that itself destroys the monarchy to which rhaenyra and jace have their only power from.
The class system of the entire society of westeros will be gone thanks to rt actions that could future destroy the realm more than the civil war that is happening now. I get why Rhaenyra is doing what she is doing but the long game is in play n like usual Rt is not thinking about how this shakes the entirety of house targaryen.

Y'all are some of my favorite reactors to this show! I love seeing all these dragons but my heart also aches for all those poor creatures. I'm not ready to lose any of them.

He alone would be a match for Vhagar that's why Aemond pulled back, let alone have to fight all of them together. Flying in the back is Silverwing, just arrived. And Syrax (female dragon daughter of Silverwing and Vermithor). Vermax (Jace's dragon) is not there and also Seasmoke not there in the picture. Also Caraxes "the blood wyrm" not present but that's a wild card. There's another powerful dragon joining them in next season ;)
If I was an adviser to the queen, I would have gotten her to at least get the potential dragon riders to swear fealty to her before they claim a dragon.

I loved how Silverwing tamed Ulf, but yeah I agree there is a huge possibility that Ulf is gonna betray the Blacks if the Greens give him an incentive to do so. Hell Addam might even betray the Blacks if the Greens offer a really good reward, like the seat of Driftmark. Addam always had that fire deep inside him, and there's a small bit of resentment towards Corlys from what I could tell through this season. So Addam betraying the Blacks to get Driftmark is a possibility there.
