About us: We are Brian (from Florida) and Alec (from Jamaica) an engaged same-sex couple currently navigating a long distance, cross-cultural relationship. With our videos we hope to inspire others, from the LGBTQ+ or marginalized communities that might aspire to living their best lives and loving at the same time. We hope to share our experiences while discussing topics and questions that always come our way.

Yes it was our first Christmas together and wanted to make it special and start our own traditions. Little did I know Brian had plans of his own! Crazy to think that was almost an entire year ago. Almost Christmas again!

YESSSS we are so sorry about that! When it was first uploaded it used to play all the way out with issue. But after some months it just stopped for some reason. We think perhaps one day we may have to re-upload it.

Brian you have to have Alecread the book loud and clear so we as family can hear I like the part in the book that say if you say no just burn the book but I don’t see it in this video definitely you have to do a Q&A and let you read a book
The moment when it was originally shot wasn’t for RUclips actually so there was no plan behind it. It was a private moment that was for including the friends and family who could not be apart of the occasion. Now having the platform we do now we made it public to be able to share with our now extended RUclips family. That page about burning the book was directly after the ring and as you can imagine I (Alec) was overwhelmed after just being proposed to, so honestly I didn’t even see the rest of it myself until after everything had calmed down. It still is such a memorable moment that lives in my heart forever and I would have changed nothing about that day or that moment. Glad we at least have it on video to be able to revisit the occasion.
