God bless you for having all of these things to ride and drive. I think it's great and gives us some exciting videos to watch. I only have a stock 2015 Honda Pioneer 500 with zilla tires and am happy and grateful to have that. Have fun and keep up the great videos.
My kids and I were heading home from bc the night you pulled into town, my 7 year old started yelling dad there's ghost and full pull and osta, turn around maybe he will let us see ghost, buy the time I got turned around we lost ya. We both have to say it has been a very long wait to see this video, but so worth it, great job
That thing is sick for sure dang nam can am s r sweet and those flipin hills oh ya such a great spot it's like snow heaven and them sleds just rippin it what a great vid more pls 🤠🤠🤠🤠
JUST LIKE in the Everglades... I have seen this with my Dad and his buddies with swamp buggies... Lighter is better... AND power... I wonder if they have a slightly WIDER track to have a bigger footprint so to speak?? Kind of reminds me of the Thycol groomers they use for the ski slopes... either way, this is one of the cooler things I have seen EVER when it comes to snow toys!! I bet those tracks are PENSIVE!!!!! ;) Thanks for sharing!!
I was wondering something else too... as far as increasing power... I assume you can use 91, or 93 octane in these machines... but what about Av-Gas? Is that too hot of a fuel for them???
Started following you awhile back, came from the Blog. This looks like a blast, but my days of playing when it is that cold are behind me. Love the videos you put out and your honest unbridled enthusiasm for the sport.
Man full pull did awesome out there. I think the lighter weight of the machine helps it climb good. And those tracks throw so much snow at some points you couldn't even see the machine haha.
Mann that thing looks Sweet!!😎💯🤘! especially rippin thru sum powder! Really enjoy your videos man! "Can u put fenders too keep snow from gettin all over the place"? lol
I'm watching this in late August, in N. Utah where it's 100° F outside, wishing winter would hurry the hell up and get here. Why the hell didn't I move to MT years ago and avoid all this damn heat in the summer time... But if I lived in MT year round I would probably be bitching about the snow and cold. Sometimes I just can't win for losing.
Was Snowboarding in Banff/Sunshine Village yesterday and Thursday. My legs are still sore. Watching this makes them noticeably sore lol. Would love to have this equipment. Makes me miss my Summit 800. Unfortunately its not the way you want it to have a sled here in Calgary if you don't own your own company and have the time and money. After 2 seasons I got rid of everything. Now I just stick to the ski resorts.
I need to get those side zip windows...the tracks kick up a lot of powder into my cab. The windshield helps but not completely. In the summer, the inside of the windshield is caked with dirt.
@5:39 steep drop off the truck Osta . why not back into a snow bank ? I want to take a moderate dose of shrooms and go zooming around in that scenery . gorgeous .
so I was looking at the build sheet to my 500 and apparently I have a one time 500 xt they made it once and never did it again were if your in low gear it has something similar to an exhaust brake but its not an exhaust brake it has some flap in the exhaust that helps the motor slow down its rpm and to telll u the truth it works awesome
Since you've ran both style can am tracks can i get your input? Putting tracks on my x3 and 90% of its use will be to get out fishing, occasional cruise in the bush. Fishing spot gets few inches of slush at times in mild weather but nothing crazy
Osta.. from 14:00 to like 16:00 he was trying to climb that hill... he'd get to the top.. punch it.... spray all the snow out from under his tracks and high center it, taking the weight off the tracks and putting it on the center of the vehicle.... sticking it each time. With the tracks spreading out the weight of the utv on much bigger surface area than tires.... it seems like he would be better off putting it in low gear.. and not spinning away all the snow... allowing it to ride on top of the snow instead of cutting into it and high centering the weight off the tracks/traction. Would that work? Or does the utv start sinking in the snow regardless of track speed?
@@ostacruiser ah... okay. So basically like trying to ride in loose sand. Once u start up a steep hill if you don't have the speed to keep going.... the gravity overcomes the coefficient of friction needed to keep the tracks pushing the bike along. They break traction and just sit there digging in......
What a great time. Snow days are fun. Thanks for taking us along.
You're welcome. We had a blast. Part 2 coming soon
I watched 7/8 of this on the toilet thinking this was a 10 min video. I’m 28 mins in and there’s no going back! Love the ride man!
Thanks buddy! Hopefully your legs didn't fall asleep 🤣🤣

I`m amazed how good the new back-country tracks are, and now that the quads have enough power, still not snowmachine zip but wow.
100% correct. will never replace a mountain sled but they are dang sure capable

With the proper tune you can run race fuel yes. We are running a 93 tune now
@@ostacruiser Do they make a slightly wider track? Seems like for a heavier quad you might want a little wider track. Just curious.

wow ! i would across canada to come have a ride with ya got dang man !!!
Great view from the top of the first hill. So what treads worked the best and what type of tracks did you all use.
The Can am Apache Backcountrys are in a league of their own. Nothing else comes close the their deep snow performamce

A little over 50mph top speed. Tons of power still. Can cruise all day at 35 to 40mph

Also... why does the one x3 look so much taller then the others.... ? (Looks totally awesome, so high )
34ft. And Ghost is definitely a beast!!

You wouldn't make it out of the parking lot with tires. Most spots are 10 to 20ft deep or more
ahh frig what a unit.

Where is this beauty located? Nature is just bewitching!
Golden B.C. Canada
Are the quad bikes superior in deep snow?
Vs. what? Sxs? yes. Mountain sled? No
Im thinking 2 liter turbo charged 300 to 500 hp to get up the track speed and you should be able to walk on top of the snow
That is so cool I want to put tracks on my maverick sport xmr 1000r
Did the rails heat up at all on the hardpack?
need to make some fender extentions that click on for your quad
Does ghost have any pop pop from evo? Launch control lol
