- Finally I spent some time to upload this Dinah Shore TV Special from 1961 December. Guest Stars are Nat King Cole, George Burns, and Ginger Rogers. The picture quality is not the best because it's from the public domain, but I tried to fix it with some video filters. I also eliminated the large spectrum hiss from the audio. I think it's now much enjoyable. So Have fun with this great show fellows.

Thanks I really like Dinah Shore she was Beautiful and a lovely person.
So do I.
I lost my husband of 55 years this last March (2017) 1961 was our first News Years together. We danced so many dances just like the above. This made me smile. thank you for posting it
This was after Dinah parted company with Chevrolet the previous season [her weekly Sunday night Chevy time period was occupied by "BONANZA" in the fall of '61]. She appeared about once a month for primary sponsor Sperry & Hutchinson {Green Stamps} for the next two seasons.
In 1961/62, I was 16 years old....
Thanks for sharing it with us...nice work of restoration..congratulations. A big hug.
I'm saving up my green stamps, four more books and I get the bicycle

I'd like to find on youtube the song Nat is singing at 13.31against rock & roll ( I won't twist). Thank you for sharing this video, I like it very much!
Nat King Cole numbers: “Mr. Cole Won’t Rock And Roll” 13:18, “Where Did Everyone Go?” 42:29, “Friendless Blues”(?), “Everytime I Feel The Spirit” with Dinah Shore 46:30
You should post this in full color. Or at least, let me take a chance on posting it. I’ll give you full credit and link your channel, plus I’ll make sure that Viacom (ete.) can’t find it easy.
Gerald Baker I’d love to see the whole show in color. There are 2 clips in color with the nat king cole performances on RUclips
I doubt this was in color in 1961/62. (Except that towards the end they announce Football in color--so maybe it was produced in color.)
The dancing blonde is not Ginger Rogers but can't name her... If anyone knows, please advise
It is Ginger Rogers. The hair is a bit unusual for how we're used to seeing her. They introduce her by name at around the 1:15 mark. She'd be about 50 or 51 at this time.
