I return to the 2nd legacy store that CEC has announced to see the progress of the remodel, enjoy!

These 5 locations are going to be closely treasured by the fans. I remember you talking in your Huntsville visit a couple years ago back when there were 22 3-stages. You mentioned how kids that grew up with the band won’t ever get to show their kids what they grew up with and how disappointing that was. Now, it’ll be cool to know that parents can take a roadtrip with their kids and on the way to wherever they’re going, stopping at one of the legacy stores to show off their childhood is an option. These stores are tourist attractions in a way.
They absolutely are and I'm thrilled that the next generation will get to share the joy of animatronics with their kids. It was so very nearly snuffed out.

This is what they should have done with every store.. yes fresh paint, sure new carpet… but keep what makes Chuck E Cheese unique like keep the animatronics.

This is exciting that there will be legacy stores and hope you were able to have a better time there! Definitely looking forward to seeing how the legacy location remodel at nanuet ends up looking like.

So I just visited the Nanuet location yesterday with my kids and I spoke with Mark the manager (cool guy definitely worth a chat if he’s not busy) and all the work corporate had planned for this location’s animatronic was essentially cancelled.
They were supposed to get curtains and a corporate tech according to Mark was supposed to come and work on the bot to potentially get him performing again. All this came about from just asking about the rumor of the rocker stage. Unfortunately it seems they have given up on doing anything it seems.
Chris if you’re reading this and made it this far into the comment Mark seems to think your outreach is the key to these changes coming to fruition. You have a certain something that gets corporate’s attention and it’s sad to see the bot stuck on random movements. Thank you so much for everything you do!
Thank you for your kind words! Mark is a great Manager, I have spoken with him before. I dont know if corporate actually listens to me or not, I try my best to highlight the need for the destruction to stop and at least we got a few. My contact at corporate says they are holding off on the Nanuet bot to see if the changes made there raise the store earnings to make the expense of installing the system worth it. Sadly, I dont know what financial threshold they are looking for there but seems like it would be hard to hit if the bot is just a statue. Seems like they are stuck in a vicious circle there. I will be returning in October and we will see how its looking then
And now every Thursday this location is playing a 2000s throwback showtape with avenger Chuck songs and intermissions and even the avenger Chuck walk around is there on Thursdays now too!
Put the art back up at Northridge!!! It's such an important part of their history!

I love the studio c bots but a rocker stage would for sure be better. I also mis when Chuck had a baseball cap he looks so empty without it considering he had some form of a hat since the beginning and Rockstar is the only version of him without a hat.
This looks like a really cool location. I’m planning on going soon but I’ve been hearing people saying that they aren’t gonna program the bot.

This store has a pretty nice looking 2.0, although I'm curious what their final plans are going to be. Springfield and Hicksville have some hard competition at Pineville and Nanuet from what I can see! Love the video and I'm glad they saved the awesome art (especially the drive in)!

Did you visit the Palisades mall. It’s the biggest mall I have seen. You should visit while you are there.
I don’t think they will end up swapping out the stage. Especially because I noticed they already re positioned some of the light tubes on the studio c stage (the one going around pizza time clock was not fully secured but they fixed it) you will see what I mean if you compare both of your videos side by side and look at it. Not to mention studio c bots are apart of many people’s childhood as well just like the other stages. (Like you had said) So as much as I’d like to see the rocker stage come back. I would prefer if they left the studio c in this location in my own opinion.

This is such a pointless location to ‘save’ as a legacy store. Especially being so close to Hicksville.
Would’ve made a LOT more sense to put a show in a store in Texas or Florida.

Yeah, Joplin, MO is basically Nanuet but Prototype. Joplin was small, but could have been saved.

As someone that has been to Northridge before and after the remodel, they should bring the posters back. They don't need to ofc, the fandom has nagged them to death already, but it would be perfect if they brought back the old 90s posters!

That would actually be a pretty cool name for these 5 hybrid stores. Much like there is now “PIZZA HUT CLASSIC”. They can be called “CHUCK E. CHEESE LEGACY”. Yes that’s it. That should be the official name of these new stores.

I talked to Mark Kupferman (one of the people at CEC Corporate) on reddit and he specifically told me that there is no plan on reprogramming the bot.

Just use the studio c bot in the rocker stage
The great thing about the Rocker Stage is that it works with Navori. Studio C doesn’t.

I don't want them to put the rocker stage into this location, I want the Studio C to stay! Is that too much to ask? We have 2 cyber locations, 2 CEI Locations, and 1 Studio C... while I understand that most of you want a full band supremacy but I don't want that to happen, it doesn't seem right that an important switch in the history of Chuck E. Cheese doesn't get documented.

@@SetsStreetsEats i have pictures of the remaining retro bits and i can show you them on my community page and it still has a phase 4 sign despite being a 2.0 check the bathroom hall it has art from 1993 and this location is near Decatur Al and and florence Al

@@ManAndDogFan chris bower said that the bot will be performing (but it was unconfirmed for reprogramming and the 32 movement bot replacing the 16 movement bpt) so it will be receiving floppy disks, so it will be using old signals for old songs
