I just got Midnite Dynamite Relit 35 Anniversary Remastered and Remixed album earlier today and it sounds PHENOMENAL!!!! Beau Hill did an amazing job on remixing and remastering this album. I knew that it was going to be awesome because Beau did an incredible job on Blow My Fuse Reloaded 30th anniversary album. The sound on both albums really do sound better than ever.
I knew that he redid the production of Blow My Fuse not too long ago, but I had no idea that he redid Midnite Dynamite. I am definitely getting this. I have always loved Midnite Dynamite album big time. I actually got that album first as a little kid before I got Blow My Fuse. Great interview!!
My band thought we were hot shit. Then we got this opening gig for some band from back east. We were so full of ourselves as we walked in to the club as the band from back east was doing their sound check. Well it was Kix and the song was Walkin Away, You could just about hear the air leaving our sails. We gave it one hell of a show but dam were those guys great. Any time they come to town I go and see them they are so much fun.
Just saw them in NJ - fantastic, one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.
I hope it has the magic that he did on Ratt's Invasion. The sound of that album still resonates to this day!
I agree with you! Invasion Of Your Privacy is and has always been my favorite Ratt album. The songs and sound on that album is just PHENOMENAL.
That album doesn't need to be remastered don't try to fix something if it's not broke..

Your interviews with Beau are the best. Probably have said this before.
When I was a senior in high school, this chick that sat in front of me in 2nd period handed me the headphones to her Walkman and insisted that I listen to this song. It was Red Hot Black and Blue. Been a Kix fan ever since.

Actually, not Brian Forsythe but Ronnie Younkins re-recorded the guitar solo (as it was him who was supposed to record a solo for that song back then).
