- This was a RUSH commission for an Industry Professional, this whole set piece is 32" wide by 60" inches long, this particular piece only represents about 1/4 of the whole set piece which took about 80 hours over 2 weeks, Since it was a rush I did not have time to record the whole process but I was able to get this portion! Feel free to ask any questions!
THIS IS HOW MY SETPIECE WAS USED! PROFESSIONAL IMAGES HERE!

Like the magnetic columns. I must say the background music is distracting but others may love it.

Getting a hot wire cutter soon and love the tip about cutting out a big piece and trimming down to make the columns.
Yes! It’s a great way to detail something
WOW! The photos were awesome! I enjoyed seeing how the build was utilized. I am new to model/set building and "kitbashing" and I have been wondering how all these beautiful things are used. Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible work! Fills a niche not being tackled by many other creators

Hey! Thank you
WOW you make it look so easy. Thank you for spending the time to share your technique. I do have a question. Is there a video on how you made the round courtyard? If you do , I would like to have the link. Thank you again.
No I did not record that part unfortunately
The detail is insane.. very nice brother!
Thanks so much!

The more you know. Thanks
youre the man! thanks
Absolutely incredible work! Just a quick question. Is the base court yard one piece or three layered?
It’s one piece with tiles on top
don't know if you remember i said something about Aspercreme with Lidocaine for hand pain. using snug disposable surgical gloves will keep the creme on your hands and KEEP THE BLACK WASH OFF OF THEM. 🙂
just a thought.
i no longer set up to work on a dio without treating my hands first. if they really hurt after - bowls of ice.
But I like looking like I use dark magic? 😆
@@OilersWorkshop uh, ok ... 🙂
@@redshoesgirl sorry bad joke
@@OilersWorkshop oh gosh, no need to apologize. any joke is cool! i just "worry" about hand pain. speaking of which - off to the medicine cabinet. it's photography time. 🙂
You should paint the circle designs after you black wash it paint the design neon black light green. So you can create a mystical portal just by using a black light on the diarama.
Great idea
Wow! This is just amazing. I need a hot wire foam cutter now. Can you please send me the link to the one you bought? Thanks in advance.
Just go to HWFF.com
🤩Damn, can’t wait to see the other 3/4 of how u did the dio😁. how did u get the bended strips on the column by chance?
Don’t have that recorded, but you can click the links in the description to see why Jax did with the whole thing
This is amazing as always!! Did you put anything like modge podge etc before black washing/painting your xps foam? Thank you!
Nope just paint straight on
is there a video on how to make those fabulously decorated pillars?
I just did what I said in the video, all the skills everyone needs are there! Or on my channel 😄
@@OilersWorkshop oh, i must have missed it. thanx
This is beautiful and helpful - how far back are you on taking new commissions?
Too far, like years
How did you cut the circular piece steps? Did you cut a circle first and then cut out partial wedges and re-attached them?
You figured it out 👍
@@OilersWorkshop Just discovered your channel. LOVE IT!!!
@@happy911 you’re awesome
This is looking really good so far! I've been following you on istagram for along time and I didn't realize until today that you also have a youtube! Thanks for this tutorial, you got a sub out of me :)
