Some things I ran into when working on my 08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara edition:
    1) For the 2 screws in the recessed holes:
-They were not Philips head but were Torx screws (size T20).
-The part of my screwdriver that held the T20 bit was too thick to fit in the hole. Had to use a T20 screwdriver. An L wrench would work too.
    2) For the mounting screw holding the ignition switch in place:
    - It was a *safety* T10 Torx screw. So, my standard T10 Torx bit would not fit. (Safety Torx screws have a pin in the center. So the Torx bit needs a hole in its center). I had to go buy a Safety Torx hand tool at Home Depot.
    - Not enough room to use a screwdriver. I used a safety Torx L wrench
Really appreciative of videos like this, so hoping to pay it forward with these notes. 👍🏼

Mine did the same thing so I thought it was the starter. Turns out that didn’t fix it. Came across your video and sure enough the ignition switch fixed it. Thanks

Good info. Im waiting on Amazon to delivery the switch for my wife's 07 JK now. Cant figure why the dealership says it has to be programmed. Unless they are talking about the 'clock position' before installing the new switch. Yours is the second video I've watched where you are obviously in your driveway, and not at a dealership....lol. thanks for the info.

Could you do a video on how you painted the inside of your doors yellow? That’s very cool!

15 bucks? The parts I saw are 50 to 90 cdn.. Mines acting up intermittently. At least I hope that is the problem. My 07 I bought jan 2023 in a very bad used market but it looked like the old guy never used it, never saw winter salt etc so it looked amazing. I come to find out all the little sensors and rear axle are failing. For some odd ball reason it came with a dana 35 rear end which on 33s after 120k km it failed on me after my ownership only put 5k on.
I put a used-rebuilt dana 44 on because they couldnt find some part for the 35.. Damn thing is leaking out the spindle side too.. This jeep has basically bankrupted my repair fund of 12k. I wanna sell it but the market for used has corrected a bit. Back when I got this it was because some moron smashed my honda and i had 30k to find something. The market was so bad for any 4x4 I got this rotten apple jeep which has forced me to become a mechanic apparently..
I like these jeep platforms but hate dodge engines and pcm or electrical. I wish it had a chevy v8 on this platform. I never had these kinds of problems with my chevy trucks.. It was just basic brakes and oil.. These jeeps though are something else altogether. Its constantly having parts thrown at it like it has 350 000 miles on it instead of 120 000 kilometers. Which is only about 100 000 miles roughly.. I suppose they could have fked with the odometer.. But the frame looks like it still has factory paint.. Looks wise its deceiving
