Great video it fixed my 2014 CLA 250 it was stuck in the up position in the back of the sunroof. It wouldn’t go all the way down and I use the exact steps he told me to do and it worked thanks a lot. I definitely will subscribe to your channel. Great info. Save me a trip to dealer that I know he would’ve ripped me off. Thanks a lot again.

This video is very useful and accurate. You can literally do it with him as he talks as an instructional video. It worked for my 1999 Mercedes-Benz E320.
Is that first tilt push up a half push (to the resistance point?) or a full push (past resistance point?). ..I had to disconnect my battery. Now I had to reset my windows and did so successfully but really having trouble resetting the sunroof. I don’t want to have to remove and reinstall the battery (because then I have to do each window again..) so I’m doing what the owners manIla says and removing the sun roof fuses. I tried multiple times, but can’t seem to get it right.
I have gone to mercedes too and from like 20 times they make the sunroof normal with a computer they change parts and still it snags on something and does not fully auto close
You never established the problem you were having with it. Now. I don't doubt they were issues, but one could assume that there was nothing wrong with your sunroof to begin with based on this video.

Everything is working just like in your vid - BUT - it doesn’t close correctly! :-( when it is completely open, and I press the close button just like you do, it drives to the front for 10 cm and stops! When you get it all the way closed pull down and hold the lever for 5 seconds keep trying. Usually it means a step wasn’t processed correctly. It’s possible you have an actually hardware issue but unlikely

But only als long, as the engine runs!! Fu*k -.- once i turn the key, and try to one-click close or lift it, it do what it always does: it goes to front, and then 1/3 way back, anytime, any try.. @@efrainsandoval2530 check your fuses. There should be a set a fuses under the dash and a set in the trunk. They should be labeled you may have a blown fuse.
Hey Alberto try it again. But first open you’re sunroof all the way and ensure no derbies are in the tracks. This procedure definitely works but there may be another issue with your sunroof. Good luck my friend and thanks for watching.
Give it another shot. Sometimes it can take a couple tries to get it right. Otherwise you may have a misalignment issue or possible a physical issue with the sunroof.

I’ve never seen one with out a sun roof I think all in America have the sunroof as base.

Check both of your batteries. Could be a module or a sensor. It will need to be diagnosed with a scanner.

Probably the motor if the fuse blew, this will only reset it if it moves some but doesn’t move to the open and close positions by itself.
