TO hear that garish, loud, shrill Dobbs voice (I always have to turn my computer volume to like 2 with him), along with his dumb "playing stupid" act wedged in-between the soothing, soft, British dialogue is like someone scraping nails on a chalkboard at unexpected times. Like in Chinese water torture...You don't know when that cold drop of water is going to drop, but you anticipate it in fear and anxiety
Wait........ Why is zoroark not on this list? "Zoroark The Master of Illusion" (I may have gotten the title wrong) took place in the Sinnoh region. Zoroark is from unova. HE HAD A WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE ABOUT HIM EARLY
Galarian Farfetch’d is still Farfetch’d. Does it really matter if it’s a regional variant? Some could say Galarian Farfetch’d is Farfetch’d and Kantonian Farfetch’d doesn’t count as being Farfetch’d.
Dobbs talks like his mom writes the scrips, and he reads them. I have heard him mispronounce words that are super common, and never mispronounced. First three times a gave him credit, but now I'm really starting to worry....
Dobbs talks at a speed where he stumbles and garbles his words. He really does need to slow down, a trait like that does give individuality, but not in the sense of individual appeal. Talking fast is fine and all, it can definitely be a charming trait, but only if it is done right. if he can talk at his current speed without stumbling or garbling his words, then I have nothing to say on the matter, at that point his speed really would become his appeal. As it is now though, it's just something that would cause slight discomfort for some listeners.
pokeperson1000 nicely worded. I completely agree and I think he should write a script down first and just read it because he sounds like a mumbling idiot.
Idk how people believe such a stupid thing. Of course they didn't plan 5 fucking generations ahead! That girl probably said some random shit and then in gen 5 they happened to make Munna. I don't get how people are so stupid these days
I know this is old but there’s a couple of additions you missed. Mime Jr also debuted in the Lucario Movie as well as the Princess’ Pokémon. Bonsley and Munchlax also appeared in Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness one being part of the story and the other being a random event at the wild spots. Munchlax also appeared in Destiny Deoxys. Lugia is special considering she (yes it was confirmed by the artist that she was meant to be female despite having a male voice in the movie) was made specifically for the 2nd movie but was promoted to being the Silver Legendary mascot due to the positive reception. Also in Gen 6, you can get the Strange Souvenir which not only hinted at Alola being the Gen 7 location but was also confirmed to be a tease of Tapu Bully’s shell design. Finally, Togepi may have hatched in that episode you mentioned but it actually first appeared in episode 46 Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon as the egg Ash found. It’s pattern was slightly different but it’s still clear they were set with having Togepi join the Gen 1 cast.
Hm, the pokemon names that are written after the MissingNo's on the wiki page are the pokemon into which this MissingNo will turn if it's sent to a gen 2 game (due to sharing the same id), they aren't cut pokemon.
cyndaquill..... keeps mimicing brock till lever only opens his eyes when someone is trying to throw water to his eyes...............................................................

It would be so awesome if In the anime they ran into a mysterious Pokemon that didn't get revealed until like 2 gens later. At least to me it would be awesome

When I was younger, I bought a Pokédex book that was released before generation 2. It included all 150 Pokémon, plus Mew and Togepi, which at the time were labeled in the Pokédex as #151 and #152, respectively. This was CHANGED after the release of gen 2 games.
The index numbers don't mean what you think. Those missingnos, if glitched through the time capsule into G/S/C, would show up on the other side as that pokemon, and visa versa. Not that that pokemon was meant to be coded into R/B/Y.
Thomas Druce Look, the question marks, aka missingnos, WERE pokemon, 39 of them. This was confirmed. BUT you can't just say "oh this index of missingno is the same as a gen 2 pokemon, must be the same pokemon", as the ordering of pokemon in g1 and g2 is COMPLETELY different, g1 was indexed as they were programmed (this was the original ordering system, as proven in very early pokedex screenshots), whereas g2 I believe is pokedex numbers? We have no idea what any of these missing pokemon were, although I believe one of them was crobat, as of the 39 lost pokemon I think 8 or 9 have cries, aka NON GLITCH cries, real cries that are programmed in for that pokemon but obviously go unused. And one completely matches crobat (actually uses a different base cry I believe, cries are done by a base cry in old games to save space, and then they are changed in pitch and length to make them unique, there are like 40 base cries in total I think). Search for chickasaurusGL unique missingno cries, about 1:20 is clearly crobat.
Wait, so you're telling me missing pokemon from gen 1 might still be unaccounted for, even after all the generations we've had? I mean, if the 8/9 that do have actual cries, then that means the rest would just be left over space, which goes against someone else's comment saying they had to remove debug tools to put mew in. (I still don't know why that has anything to do with the debug tools, it's a seperate memory thing.) Or maybe only nintendo knows, and nobody bothered to email them, or they just left it pretty vague to keep us guessing, like most things in life do.
Thomas Druce yes they removed the debug tools and added mew after, that was a risky move, but they didn't remove the tools to add mew. So there are likely pokemon that never existed yes. gastrodon and shello have back sprites in gen 3 and also have cries programmed in (nothing links their cries to the sprites, but two spare pokemon, two spare cries, it's obvious, plus they even said in an interview they had to be removed and they were gonna be in the next gen, so it's clear they were meant to be in gen 3 and that was their cry). You can find that on the same youtube channel, chickasaurusgl, unused gen 3 cries found in the german debug build of ruby.
Ok, let's set the record straight. Shigeki Morimoto has stated that they initially planned to have 190 pokemon in the game. Obviously, that many pokemon were NOT implemented into the game, for one reason or another. Most of the remaining 39 were never thought up in the first place or scrapped as only an idea, and others were saved for a possible sequel (it is not known what pokemon were carried over from gen 1 development, but interestingly, Ho-oh wasn't one of them). As far was we can tell (and we've datamined the everloving shit out of these games) there are no unused Pokemon that made it into the programing for R/B/G/Y. However, due to the nature of data formatting, there are 255 values possible for a pokemon index number (the stat that determines the pokemon's species) and 190 of these spots are formatted for pokemon. Because only 151 pokemon made it in to the game, there are 39 slots that are formatted, but empty. If the game has make a pokemon with an index number of 0 or higher than 190, the result is a bunch of junk data with odd properties. If the index number is between 1 and 190 (i.e. in a properly formatted slot) but does not correspond to an actual pokemon, then a MissingNo appears. **These often take on unusual cut properties, like the "Bird" type and the unused cries the video demonstrates. It is possible that a pokemon was deleted from the 9 slots with unique cries, but no other data for those potential Pokemon remains.** The most popular methods for causing a MissingNo to appear are the "mew glitch" and the "Old Man Glitch" in which the player can force unusual values into an area's wild pokemon index numbers, often resulting in MissingNo. However, a third way to do this is to initiate a trade with a copy of pokemon G/S/C and trick the game into sending a pokemon new to gen 2 back into gen 1. Because G/S/C expands upon the same index system, the empty slots in R/B/G/Y have been filled with new pokemon, and the empty slots, index numbers 191-250 being filled with chicorita through quillfish, and the 39 slots in the original 190 being filled in order with sizor through lugia (with the noteworthy exception of Ho-oh, who oddly enough has index number between heracross and sneasal) This is more about what index numbers mean than the missing pokemon, but god damn it I typed this all out and I might as well post it.
Except the Gen 2 Pokémon just match index numbers with the Missingno slots. There's zero confirmation that those are the actual species to have been planned for the game. You can even clearly see that for the most part they are in Pokédex order due to the way data is translated from RGBY to GSC.
Thank you for pointing this out. I did some research by matching unused voice cries and index numbers, and the only one I found that could have been in generation 1 is Crowbat. Half the video made me roll my eyes because of the lack of research
Thank you, i was starting to wonder if i was the only one to have noticed that Even the wiki is pretty clear on this, these are merely MissingNo id's that match the id's of gen 2 pokemon in gen 2 games, as a result these MissingNo's turn into them when traded to a gen 2 game, but that doesn't mean they're cut pokemon or anyhing like that
Yes holy shit. It's like they just saw the Bulbapedia page that had those on it and said "oh, it says Donphan here so that means Donphan was originally a Gen 1 Pokemon". Uh... no? Just because it turns into a Pokemon when it's traded to GSC, that doesn't mean that slot in a game released years earlier was intended for that Pokemon. And this is the first thing in the entire video. Great.
Okay…just because the 39 MissingNo in Gen 1 turned into those particular Pokemon if traded to Gen 2 because of their index number, does not mean that those particular Pokemon were planned for Gen 2, only that 39 more Pokemon were planned than made it into the original games and those index numbers were subsequently filled in with Gen 2 Pokemon. Just because two MissingNo index numbers turn into Houndour and Houndoom doesn't mean Houndour and Houndoom were the Pokemon originally planned for those index numbers, only that they received those index numbers during the production of Gen 2. Do you see where I'm going with this?
True Gen 2 SpaceWorld Demo didn't even feature all the Pokemon that had index numbers that corresponded to Missingno. Pokemon Let's Go was the best opportunity for GameFreak to give us stuff planned for Gen1 that never was, yet it was wasted. There are rumors that Leafeon was originally going to be a Gen 1 Pokemon that you obtained through using Leaf Stone on Eevee. I like to think Turbann (what Shellder becomes when it fuses with Slowpoke) was intended as a Gen 1 Pokemon. The day someone mods Gen 2 Locations & Pokemon into Let's Go will be a great day.

I never even considered they were revealed early, I just somehow thought every piece of information I could find on Chatot, Weavile, and Lucario had been incorrect. I remember them distinctly from Gen III, and it always drove me up a wall seeing them listed as Gen IV. Hell, I might be wrong here but I'm pretty sure Manaphy is in that boat as well.
Theory time: Pokemon developers were making these guys, then when they started developing gen 2 before gen 1 came out, they were like "Guys, these guys would fit the new dark/steel typings we're developing for gen 2." So, they shoved them into gen 2 instead. Dark/steel were probably too late to be implemented into gen 1.

Thank God I'm not the only one that feels this way!
I feel the same exact way lol
+xNiitro360 he's terrible with his what ifs and non canon theory garbage
I hate his voice
If your criticizing his delivery, that's one thing, but you should never make fun of someone for their natural voice which they have no control over.
"But with a blue stripe on his head" Dobbs..... THE STRIPE IS ON HIS WAIST.
Savage_ Narwhal he said hip
Savage_ Narwhal *cough cough* LUCARIO *cough cough*
Hanzo Shimada I think he said hip but he was talking waaaayyyyy to fast in this video
3:28 farfetch’d does have an evolution now :3
I know this video is 3 years old but now it does
Technically, it doesn't. Galarian Farfetch'd does.
We won Mr. Stark
Galarian Farfetch’d is still Farfetch’d. Does it really matter if it’s a regional variant? Some could say Galarian Farfetch’d is Farfetch’d and Kantonian Farfetch’d doesn’t count as being Farfetch’d.
Was Doobs on 18 RedBulls during this?
*Dobbs
+Proto L (Proto L) Nah that's how he normally talks, I've seen plenty of his videos to know.
idk but his voice is aids to my ears
im contemplating disliking just because dobbs talks way to fucking fast and its annoying
same guy i feel the same
Dobbs talks like his mom writes the scrips, and he reads them. I have heard him mispronounce words that are super common, and never mispronounced. First three times a gave him credit, but now I'm really starting to worry....
Sean Peters saaaaaaaaaaaame
Sean Peters Fuck off.
As it is now though, it's just something that would cause slight discomfort for some listeners.
pokeperson1000 right
So fucking happy someone else said it.
Why did you have to go into it in so much detail
pokeperson1000 nicely worded. I completely agree and I think he should write a script down first and just read it because he sounds like a mumbling idiot.
Jeez that's a big comment.
Dobbs sounds too enthusiastic like he’s screaming at the mic
"The one and only..." Me: jwittz, is it Jwittz!? "Dubbs." DANGIT!
"*dobbs"
Jwittz is sick
TrollandNoob Eh, I like him!
That one guy talks extremely fast.
lol

+Dobbs +TheAuraGuardian You forgot Munna from Generation 1.
Yes
Tribal Council and Harrison's kekleon
...
...
And Magearna appears in the Volcanion movie
HolyshitDobsscalmdownthisisntaraceandyouaresupossedtotalkslowtoreachthetenminutemark.
LennyFace 53 he talks like that in all his videos

Hm, the pokemon names that are written after the MissingNo's on the wiki page are the pokemon into which this MissingNo will turn if it's sent to a gen 2 game (due to sharing the same id), they aren't cut pokemon.
This comment deserves more likes
5:23 with a blue stripe on his head what? xD damn thought the place where his eyes were was the head
in the Pokemon anime Blaziken appeared in generation 2
At the end of the video there is picture with caption talking about it.
Peguastar 12111 Lol I remember that. That was the Harrison vs. Ash match in the Johto Silver Conference
Peguastar 12111
That was literally my first thought when I started watching the video.
Peguastar 12111 well maybe because blaziken's trainer was from hoenn.
Peguastar 12111 YESSSSSSS!
6:21 Cyndaquil only open it's eyes when some Pokemon used water gun 😁
cyndaquill..... keeps mimicing brock till lever only opens his eyes when someone is trying to throw water to his eyes...............................................................
well I feel that Togepi is gen 2 since it hatches from an egg
you forgot mega Gyarados
Pokemon have hatched from eggs in the anime season 1 before
+Anabel Chee mega Gyarados never appeared early
PK Ben but the mechanic was introduced in gen 2 games
Anabel Chee but the concept of eggs existing was around
We know the 39 cut Pokémon of gen 1. None of them were reused in later gens.(except maybe jaggu was reused as sharpedo but that's only because they're both sharks.)
It would be so awesome if In the anime they ran into a mysterious Pokemon that didn't get revealed until like 2 gens later. At least to me it would be awesome
Would send the hype meters through the roof
1 pokemon revealed in the anime....... 5 gens later, starter pokemon...
+Mr Classy When?
+Briana Palmer im saying a thing that could possibly happen in the future..
already happened
Christ Dobbs is unbearable, literally muted everything he spoke

Yes, he will. Tut tut tut!
Uhh, you forgot that Latios and Latias were introduced in the 5th movie, during Gen 2, and Manaphy was introduced in the 9th movie, during Gen 3
As well as Buizel in the 9th movie
+Brandon Sabellona And Chatot and Mantyke

they missed out on a looooooot of stuff so it's fine.
+taijutsugal pokemon ruby and sapphire came out before that latias/latios movie, pokemon diamond and pearl came out before pokemon ranger and the temple of the sea
deiondre0 Thanks. I knew that already. Why are you telling me this.
This is the literal version of "I was born in the wrong generation"
"Over a 100 unique creatures" *shows Pokemom X and Y covers*
Just epic xD
Loool 😂
unique and weird names
*Pokémon
Omg its the fake one but the meme is still real even tho he no longer does his normal content :O
+Jake Parker what?
When I was younger, I bought a Pokédex book that was released before generation 2. It included all 150 Pokémon, plus Mew and Togepi, which at the time were labeled in the Pokédex as #151 and #152, respectively. This was CHANGED after the release of gen 2 games.
The index numbers don't mean what you think. Those missingnos, if glitched through the time capsule into G/S/C, would show up on the other side as that pokemon, and visa versa. Not that that pokemon was meant to be coded into R/B/Y.
So if all the question marks are meant to be pokemon, we can assume how many are going to be in the next gen by how many there are?
Thomas Druce
Look, the question marks, aka missingnos, WERE pokemon, 39 of them.
(I still don't know why that has anything to do with the debug tools, it's a seperate memory thing.)
Or maybe only nintendo knows, and nobody bothered to email them, or they just left it pretty vague to keep us guessing, like most things in life do.
Thomas Druce
yes
they removed the debug tools and added mew after, that was a risky move, but they didn't remove the tools to add mew.
It is possible that a pokemon was deleted from the 9 slots with unique cries, but no other data for those potential Pokemon remains.**
The most popular methods for causing a MissingNo to appear are the "mew glitch" and the "Old Man Glitch" in which the player can force unusual values into an area's wild pokemon index numbers, often resulting in MissingNo.
However, a third way to do this is to initiate a trade with a copy of pokemon G/S/C and trick the game into sending a pokemon new to gen 2 back into gen 1. Because G/S/C expands upon the same index system, the empty slots in R/B/G/Y have been filled with new pokemon, and the empty slots, index numbers 191-250 being filled with chicorita through quillfish, and the 39 slots in the original 190 being filled in order with sizor through lugia (with the noteworthy exception of Ho-oh, who oddly enough has index number between heracross and sneasal)
This is more about what index numbers mean than the missing pokemon, but god damn it I typed this all out and I might as well post it.
You forgot Zoroark being in Zoroark: Master of Illusions
being a movie from Sinnoh not Unova.
Thank you, i was starting to wonder if i was the only one to have noticed that
Even the wiki is pretty clear on this, these are merely MissingNo id's that match the id's of gen 2 pokemon in gen 2 games, as a result these MissingNo's turn into them when traded to a gen 2 game, but that doesn't mean they're cut pokemon or anyhing like that
Yes holy shit. Great.
They appeared in the gen 1 anime. This should be enough proof
@@godot8694 The anime is shit.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
well said!
Ay, good point! Logic wins again
Yup I do. I believe ho oh is actually missingno yellow by the white parts on it
So I got it would be ho oh when I brought it to silver but nope
True Gen 2 SpaceWorld Demo didn't even feature all the Pokemon that had index numbers that corresponded to Missingno. Pokemon Let's Go was the best opportunity for GameFreak to give us stuff planned for Gen1 that never was, yet it was wasted. There are rumors that Leafeon was originally going to be a Gen 1 Pokemon that you obtained through using Leaf Stone on Eevee. I like to think Turbann (what Shellder becomes when it fuses with Slowpoke) was intended as a Gen 1 Pokemon. The day someone mods Gen 2 Locations & Pokemon into Let's Go will be a great day.
no i don't
This is super original nice job dude never seen a list like this
Thank you!
+TheAuraGuardian forgot to mention helioptile in black & white anime before the X&Y started

It took me way longer than it should have to figure out why you chose ghost typing, lol.
At 3:31 he said that farfech’d doesn’t have an evolution but in sword and shield he does!
Maybe it was uploaded before sir'fetch was announced?????
That moment you realize Porygon2 is just a subdivided Porygon.
All someone did was hit the '3' key in Maya.
Until I watched this, I thought I was the only person who noticed Pokemon being revealed in the wrong generations!
I felt like I was going crazy...
I had noticed that too. :3
+Yoshi Yoda Legend awakened was made to promote XY
Tbh I wish they do this more often.
+Yoshi Yoda I hope the new Pokémon movie with Magearna reveals a Gen VII Pokémon other than Magearna, or least one appears in the regular anime.
i like how supposedly everybody was asking for this dobbs guy and now the comment section is just a big shit talk on him.
Magearna:is in a movie in the 6th gen
Also Magearna:is in alola region
Me:rage quits watching Pokémon movies
Why did Dobbs sound like that in this video? He doesn't usually sound like that.
Trunks because he is a punk bitch
Trunks choking on his fat and senses a heart attack so he needed to be quick to get to the hospital
Munchlax and Bonsly were in the gen 3 console game Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
That was my fav as a kid
Same, I'd love to play it again
I never have, but I've heard every person ever talk about how awesome it was. Maybe I should try it
Yes you absolutely should! If you wanna get a taste of it, check out Chuggaaconroy's channel. He did a let's play of it and the prequel, Colosseum
haha read my mind, but did you know that they can be hacked into game through cheatz
I am old AF to know that Togepi is from Gen II... and it's not from research or pokedex memorization, it's knowledge from watching the show as a kid.
Zorua and Zoroark had an entire movie in Sinnoh before Unova was ever known as a thing.
In Pokémon xd they also had a munchlax when u placed snacks, it could appear, but u couldn't catch it
Ford Hodgkins so was bonsly
But they weren't canon, so doesn't count.
Ford Hodgkins also bonsly on the ship
In Gale of Darkness, you could actually battle using a Bonsly in the Realgam Tower bingo area. I'm sad he didn't mention it
I used to think Luvdicks was Gen 2.
Then I took a Serebii to the eyes.
I crave those ancient memes
Unfortunate typo.
gotta love those dicks
I'm still getting over the fact that Skarmory, Slugma/Magcargo, and Corsola are Gen 2. Not 3 O_O
hereonly2comment I'm having a mental breakdown.
Mega Mewtwo Y was released in the pokemon anime in the wrong generation
I’ve got a theory on why Arcanine was on the poster with the Winged Mirages:
Its category is the LEGENDARY Pokémon
I'm pretty sure Zoroark was first shown in a Gen 4 Movie.
yeah, it was
that movie was made to promote gen 5, as the gen 5 games came out shortly after
tru dat
+TheGeoXWar same thing dumbass
+TheGeoXWar that doesn't change the fact that the movie was a gen 4 movie
Pokémon born in the wrong generation... The memes!
And Electivire, which appeared in the Hooen League Anime as one of Gary's Pokemon.
Correct me if I misspelled it, it is Electabuzz's evolution in Gen 4.
you spelled Hoenn wrong, Electivire was fine
The Hoenn league was *long* done (one year) when Electivire appeared. Sinnoh was in the next episode.
I dunno, maybe, I only have some faint memories of it as a child :D
Shit😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝💋❤️💜💙💚❤️💜💙💚
you probably feel weird about dobbs in this video because guardian speaks slowly and clearly so dobbs stands out
Give that guest a chill pill. Please!
How about Mega Gyarados who appeared in the anime many generations ahead of time. Misty spotted it I believe.
They didn't know who it was
A blue strip on it's head???????? 5:24
I noticed that too.
I'm pretty sure that's because he talks so fast
Bruh did they forget to add zoroark the master of illusions that took place in the SINNOH REGION
Bird type was “up in the air” 😏
Missingno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im sorry but it just can't stand Dobbs...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He destroys my ears but he has good enthusiasm
hes more popular now almost 500k
What can't stand his voice?
His content is good, but he needs to slow down a bit.
Bird and Beast type? What is this, Digimon?
no cop ( call of pokemon )
hey its theroy
+Blixcomet 246 derp
+Blixcomet 246 A pokey theory!!#!
bird type was found on missing no and its type said bird but beast that 100% digimon (pokemon was first than digimon)
6:15 watch in .5 and they sound drunk
Jackson Feldman Dobbs sound Scottish at the start
Ikr
3:59 ORRRRR..... Maybe Steel and Dark types were originally supposed to be in Gen 1... Which is far more likely.
Either that or they were originally pure fire and pure flying.
Magnemite and magneton?
