the most honest video on RUclips that I saw ! thank you for all, I found a non teaching job here in Seoul like you without being bilingual by having any notions of Korean and besides I was hired as a designer in a 100% Korean society :) so keep hoping everything is possible if you persevere ( I found this job after 9 month of research) and run without listening to everyone who will tell you that it's not possible because....(with Jesus everything is possible) ! :) believe in your dream and go whatever
Hey ! First off, God bless you and I’m really happy you were being able to find a non teaching job, especially something as great as design. I just had few questions : How do you manage to work with your coworkers ? How would tou describe your quality of life ? How is making friends with people in Seoul like ?
@@Kaleblamour-l3c God bless you too 😊 my main colleague speaks English they don't all speak English, it's not easy sometimes but I'm learning Korean faster and it's true that knowing how to speak Korean is an advantage for communicating and integrating. but I'm learning, I'm almost there! and the quality of life is better here compare to my country of origin (France), the people are Nice, calm and life is more pleasant for me than in Paris. To make friends and integrate, I understood one thing, you have to stay yourself and not hesitate to talk, and create opportunities to meet people. but I'm not going to lie to you at the beginning that you go alone it's never easy, but it's worth it in the end! because you grow up, learn even more about yourself, and the world... it's like an adventure everything is new... and you have to see it as a new adventure full of discoveries without asking yourself too many questions or stressing just letting it go carry and live day to day while learning and developing yourself. And before to go for work here i think its better to come and visit and be sure that you wanna live here. Hope i helped you. Wish you all you want 🙏
Thanks for this video. It randomly popped up on my page and I'm glad it did! I am about to leave for Korea as a ESL teacher but I have a PR degree I'd like to use eventually. I'm going to save this for later if I do decide to find a PR job after teaching a bit!
This is the first video of yours I've watched but you really impressed me and I can't wait to check out more ^^ Thank you so much for the informative and fun video! I'm interested in the template of resume so I was wondering if you could send me a copy :)
@@CamilleBlais hey , use google suite , upload it on a drive with free access , and give them a link in the description side. Sorry about your screen tho. lol
Hi Camille! Thank you for this video, your videos about finding work in Korea have been super helpful! I was wondering if you've shared your Korean resume template anywhere online. Thanks :)@@CamilleBlais
Hey Camille, this was really helpful in terms of the minute details of facing problems in case of non-teaching jobs. Thank you for putting it all out. I request you to make more content about the whole process of applying and infact the interview and next steps.
great vid! btw I'm also a Camille from Canada who works in communications and would love to visit/live in Korea one day, so props to the youtube algorithm for recommending this vid to me 😊
OMG I was just thinking about how to find a job in Korea for meeting Rowoon someday ,then I searched and clicked randomly and saw a Rowoon’s poster on your wall 🫢
So would you recommend staying in your home country to get work experience in your field for about a year and then apply for jobs so you can have an easier time being sponsored for a visa? I also heard people say that it would be a good idea to move to Korea first and maybe teach and then find another job as it is easier to get hired if you’re already in the country. Thoughts ? Very helpful video btw!
Hey! I am glad you enjoyed the video :) Yes I would recommend both! Having job experience will definitely help you get sponsored for an E7 visa its actually a requirement if you have anything less than a Master's degree. Also, living in Korea will definitely make it easier to interview for and find job opportunities!
I hope you're loving your time as a student here and I wish you all the best of luck with finding a job here soon! Drop a comment if you have more questions during your job hunt.🥰
hii camille im so happy i found this video cuz its definitely provided some guidance on the next steps in my career! i coincidentally am also from toronto and im currently halfway thru my hagwon contract living just outside of seoul. im tryna plan out what i wanna do after my contract is up and since i studied tourism/hospitality back in toronto i was wondering how i could find jobs in that area in seoul and im hoping the websites you've mentioned will help :) quick question - how far in advance did u start job hunting before ur contract was up, or did u leave in the middle of it?? was it difficult switching from the e2 to e7 visa? thanks again for the great vid ur awesome!
I am glad you found it too! (also wow - small world) I left a few months into my second year with the school. End to end it was about two and half weeks from when I started searching to when I got the offer. But, because I had to give notice at the school I didn't start my current job until nearly 3 months later. Switching my visa was more tedious than it was difficult. I was lucky to have my new employer's lawyer to help me with lots of it 😅 ps GOOD LUCK! You got this ;)
@@CamilleBlais would it have been better to wait until you were closer to the start date (1-2 months instead of 3) or did that not effect your chances of getting a new job.
Currently getting my bachelors of media and communication at a Korean university to try and break into this industry. Hopefully that will give me a major advantage as a foreigner
hi this video is so helpful! i will be going to korea (again) this fall under a d-2 visa, would it be possible to work under that visa or would i need to switch out my visa type?
I don't know D-2 visas very well as I never studied in Korea. My understanding is thought that part time work is possible if your school approves it and it matches your area of study. For example, if you were studying Fine Art you could work part time at an art gallery - kind of like a paid internship system I think.
I’m circling back to this video. So do you recommend already being in the country? And do you think that you being a teacher in Korea helped you get your position?
Welcome back~ Since the job market is really competitive these days, I would definitely recommend being in the country when applying for jobs as it makes the process easier on the company and demonstrates that you have some experience/comfort living in Korea. In regards to teaching, I do think it helped a little bit (not massively) because it also demonstrated that I was familiar with the Korean work environment which is unique.
Hey Camille, thanks so much for this video, it was super helpful! I just had a question about your living situation. Is the place you’re living at the moment a place you found yourself while at the Hagwon? I feel like finding a place to live when moving over would definitely be something I’d be worried about.
Hello. I loved your video. I learnt you did your English teaching job during your first year. And you switched to a non teaching PR job in Korea itself within a year or a year. Doesn't your contract terminates after you don't renew in e2 only? And you need to leave the country after it since you no longer teacher.? How to renew visa after the teaching contract to other job and is it easy to do so? Thanks. :)
I am so glad you enjoyed the video! Yes - in my case, I terminated my contract which terminated by E2 as opposed to the other way around. When you leave a teaching position, your employer will send a letter to immigration to terminate their sponsorship of your E2 visa. You don't need to do a visa run (leave the country) to transfer visas. Whether you are switching from an E2 to an E7 or an E6 to a D10 and so on. As long as you have someone in your home country who can gather any relevant documents you might be missing, you don't actually have to leave. For example - I needed a certified history of employment, so I sent my brother to my old office in Canada to get a signature for me. Without him it would have been more difficult to secure to ink signed document but still, not impossible! I hope that helps 🤗
Dear Camille, you were so cheerful through out and video had so much of helpful. Thankyou for your insights. I'm planning to graduate in Communications from Seoul National University but I'm still very confused about my career in South Korea. Is it easy to get a job as a beginner? Should I reconsider my decision? Can you please tell me anything in regards with same? PS I'm sorry for your system. Hope it's better now.
I am so happy to hear you found the video helpful! It's definitely possible to get a job as a beginner here, but you'll likely need to be relatively fluent in Korean or be able to provide another valuable offering like insights into a specific foreign market. Before reconsidering, just try applying to jobs! You never know what you'll find. I would also recommend you use any of the job hunting services available at SNU - I am sure that will help a lot too! ps. I just had to toss it unfortunately :(
Thank you so much for this video. It was a wonderful opportunity for me. This is my first time in your channel and I really enjoying it. I am interested in working there in Korea and also started learning Korean. I have done my PG in Marketing and have 1 yr work exp. I am little skeptical about landing a job there in this current scenario. May you guide me?
My pleasure! I am so glad you enjoyed the video 😇By PG do you mean a Post-Graduate Dipolma or a Master Degree? With a Masters you'll be all set to apply according to the minimum visa requirements, but with a PG diploma you'll need 5 years experience in order to qualify for an E7. I hope that helps! ✨
You mentioned that experience should make up for a language gap -- do you think that vice versa, a higher Korean proficiency as a foreigner can aide in an experience gap? My current work experience is not aligned with my target career field aka my college major, but I would prefer to do it in Korea (context: was an Arts/Music Management major, ended up working as a legal assistant. I would love to work in an entertainment company in Korea). I don't have an updated measure of my Korean proficiency anymore, but I've been learning (and regularly using) it for over 6 years.
I think it definitely does go both ways, but there might be some hurdles when it comes to sponsored visas. They are pretty strict about your major matching your work experience and your target role in Korea. For example, I studied Fashion Communications, but the program is a B.Design. When I was applying for my visa to work as an Editor, they pushed back because they said I needed to be in the visual arts based on my degree. I had to supply extra documents like a transcript and letter from my uni to explain what I really learned lol.
Hi, love your youtube channel, it's super helpful! So long story short I'm currently playing the waiting game. I am due to fly out to Sk next month but I still do not have a school. I am waiting on the interview process, I have applied for Hagwon via an agency and they are now telling me to widen my search. I made it clear last year I am looking to live in Seoul, I applied a year a head. I completed everything before deadline and now I have been informed to widen my search but I know 8 candidates from the same agency who have been provided with school and free housing situated in Seoul! I do not know what to do. I sent an email to the agency and waiting to hear back.
Thank you! I am so glad you like it!😊 Hmm - I would actually take their advice... but in a different way then they intended. Try widening your search by applyingi ndependently or via other recruiters. There is no rule saying you can only apply through one avenue! I hope that helps!
@@CamilleBlais Hi thank you, I have widened my search now which includes Incheon and Daecheon. I had my skype call yesterday, they clearly did't like me talking to others who have been accepted at Seoul, I've been informed not to compare myself to others. Everyone's process is totally different and I get that some schools are looking for something that is specific. It still doesn't make it any easier to digest. I have signed a contract with the agency so I didn't think I could search independently.... how do I go about doing that? Any sort of advice would be much appreciated :)
I’m currently in Botswana,Africa..not fluent in Korean but currently learning the language.do you think I get a job as an accountant in a company that can sponsor my visa?
I don’t see why not! I mean numbers are pretty much a language of their own - right?!. I am assuming you’ll need to take an exam to become an accountant here though so I would target your learning to specifically be able business terms and accounting. Then just start reaching out to companies. You never know until you try!
Hi càmille ,thanks for this information.please any chance for a customer service agent with over 1yr experience in Dubai airport and currently my role and I’m bilingual (English and French language) .
Hi! I'm sorry but there's nothing I know of off the top of my head. Keep up the search and I am sure you'll find something. I'd keep an eye on brand you know that might be looking to expand into the European Market!
I‘m currently trying to get a well paid job as a bartender in Seoul… I’m Swiss and still live in Switzerland… But I don‘t really know where to look for jobs whilst not living in South Korea… Do you have any recommensations for websites or maybe specific Hotels/Companies/etc??😊
I don't know too much about jobs in the service and hospitality industry, unfortunately. the best job sites in general for Korea though are peoplenjob.com and saramin.co.kr
Hello. Im 22 from England, and my dream is to live in Korea. But right now i have no qualifications or anything. No experience and i dont even have any friends. Most of my life has been me in my bedroom, but now i want to change my life and get out there. I don't know if its still possible for me to ever live in korea/get a job there but i will never give up and will start learning korean. Cause this dream is the only thing keeping me alive. Any advice.
You can make your dream come true!! I think the best way for you to come to experience and explore Korea would be on a student visa to learn the language. You can look into other visas and qualification requirements while you enjoy this beautiful country. 🤍
Hello, Camille! Many thanks for your helpful tips and this video. I’m currently from Myanmar and I am wondering if I can apply for job in Korea while in my hometown. If I match their Job descriptions and requirements, will they sponsor or help me with work visa? I am currently majoring in Law but I already have a degree for English Literature.
Totally! There is no issue with applying for jobs in Korea remotely. I will say that the job market in Korea is really saturated with applicants though, so being here would likely improve your chances.
Hi Camille thanks for the awesome vid! I had a question tho, I’m a native korean but from overseas and I really want to go back to korea. The thing is, I work in a health district but I want to work in a non-health & non-education work place. Do you think it would be possible for me to even apply for communication job in korea? Let me know your thoughts!
Great question! If you're comfortable and confident starting in a lower position and you're willing to learn on your feet, I don't see why you would be able to transition to a job in communications here. As in any country, on-the-job experience is really important. I'd do your best to add some communications experience to your resume and then start pitching yourself for job openings. See what bites you can get! I hope that helps ✨Good luck!
Hello Camille, thank you for this great video ! I just have one question about peoplenjob : their interface hardly have any filters and there are a loooot of job offers. Did you spent hours finding the ones in english or did you have a "method" please? I am in Korea right now on a Working Holiday visa and I already work for my own company (french) here with Korean partners, so I have some experience already. However, I would like to find a part-time job as I'm allowed to work only 25h per week with my visa and maybe a full-time job to be sponsored and be able to stay longer in Korea. I can speak some Korean and I do have a Korean resume but like you I'm not confident yet ^^' Thank you very much in advance for your help
Thank you for a great comment, Anouch! Because I don't speak Korean, I found the best way to filter was to search using English terms. So for my line of work I used to search "editor," "copywriter," "social media manager," and "content writer." Then I would open a million tabs (lol) and quickly review each listing, deleting any that did not clearly list Korean as a preference (as opposed to an requirement, or not at all). That usually narrows the list down quite a bit. 😅 Best of luck with your job hunt!
hi! literally 9 months late but i’m looking into switching from an E-2 to an H-1, i was wondering if you were able to lease an apartment on an H-1 visa?
Hii I have a question so I opened my profile in peoplenjob but from what I've seen it's obligatory to have a Korean Resume before uploading my English Resume. That threw me of a bit because I have no idea how to translate my english resume to korean. Am I understanding it wrong or am I missing something? Thanks for the video!
Hmmm... They seem to have upgraded the site since I was last on there. Is it a file upload or is it a form field entry? If it's a file upload, I'd just upload my English resume twice 😉
Hello! Unfortunately, I don't really know anything about that industry so I don't think I'll be much help. I would recommend reaching out your local embassy or consulate.
Great question! I only have an English version of my resume 😉 I would be happy to share it but I can't figure out how to make a public link to download. Do you happen to know?
Hi..hope u r good,i have a question....So giving a reference by an employee for the job which has been withdrawn by the candidate is valid .. I mean can he get any notification regarding the interview process or not,cuz he had withdrawn the job application?
I am not sure I understand the question. If someone withdraws their application, I doubt they would continue to get updates regarding the status of the hiring.
Hi...hope u r doing grt...can u plz tell us that..where can we find the korean resume templates and how to write a resume in korean for a fresher ( and foreigner)????
what if u have your bachelors degree and just finished your college do you get a job in korea ....? and also i dont have any experience 😢 ❤ i would really love to co e to korea and work there
Unfortunately, you need a Bachelor's and some working experience in order to qualify for an E7 visa. You might be eligible for a D10 visa though which would allow you to do internships/trainings in korea. You should check it out!
Dear camille, this video was so good and helpful for finding job. I have a question, I am currently pursuing my Masters in computers , I wanted to ask you what is the situation for getting job when you have a masters degree like internship or job in computer field in Korea.
I am so happy to hear you enjoyed my video and found it helpful! When you have a master's degree you can qualify for an E7 Visa pretty easily! I am not super familiar with the computer sciences industry in Korea, so it might be helpful to start research jobs before you finish you Master's to make sure there are some open roles out there. But in terms of your visa, once you find sponsorship it should be pretty smooth sailing!
I have a goal to live on every continent. I’ve already checked off North America and Oceania, so Asia is my third. I picked South South Korea - but I found the culture (food, fashion, music, language) most comfortable for me! 🥰
@@CamilleBlais I agree with you 100%. Can I ask you a very personal question? Do you ever think you'll settle down with someone and have a family? Living your life as adventurous as it may sound, how do you feel in terms of finding the "right companion" while living the best life you could? Or is that something you remotely think about?
It depends on the type of job you are looking for! Companies who are looking to sponsor E7 visas will likely have business needs outside of Korea. So, in my opinion, careers in communications or tourism are likely to have more interest in sponsoring this type of visa to gain foreign expertise than say a job in healthcare or law. I hope that helps! 🤗
Hii, as a foreigner is it possible to do an online internship from my home country (do they hire interns sometimes if they work good) and then similarly apply for a job meant for a fresh college graduate? Will I get sponsored? I'm currently pursuing my bachelors in computer science.
Great question! Unfortunately, you need a valid working visa in order to work in Korea, even a remote internship. In order to be sponsored you need to have a permanent residence in South Korea.
I'd love to share it but I can't figure out how to make a public word doc template😅. If you know how I can set that up, I'd be happy to publish the template
@@CamilleBlais you can save it on your Google drive then share link of it to public as viewers only that way we can just see and not change anything I want to see the English and Korean version if you have it thank you sweetheart 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello I'm from england and I'm looking for a job before I move to Korea but I don't know what job to get because I've got a bad stutter so I don't wanna be a teacher do you have any jobs in mind what I could do In korea
Most of the office jobs that hire foreigners are marketing and communications based like PR, social media management, advertising, and English writing roles. I'd give a search under jobs like that!
Its my first video of yours, but I wanted to know. To teach in korea you need a degree and a tefl correct? Not just the Tefl? I'd love to teach in korea but its so hard to find out what's really needed. 😅🤦♀️
Welcome! 🤗 Yes - that is correct you need a Bachelor's degree but some hagwons will accept you without a TEFL. I would recommend looking up more about the E2 visa on your countries Korean consulate's website as it will have the most accurate information~✨
Hi! Thank you for this informative video 💖 I’m currently 23 yrs old without a degree, but I’m doing some certificates on Web Development and the Google UX Design Professional Certificate. If I know Korean/English + build a good portfolio and have at least 1-2 yrs of xp, do you think I might get a opportunity there? I’ve noticed that most tech/design jobs say for “Degree not relevant” or “bachelor or similar (aka experience)” so I thought I might have a chance but IDK ㅠㅠ. I’ve also heard about a new Digital Nomad visa but haven’t found any info about that, and not sure if I can turn that visa into a more permanent one later on (unless I marry lol) If having an Associates or Bachelor is reallyyy necessary, I might have to do it but I’m 23…going to college in 2024, graduate in 2028, work at least 1 yr in my country… when I go to Korea is already 2029/2030 and I’ll be 30 which is the limit age of H1 visa. I appreciate your help or anyone else who also knows about this ☺
Hey! I definitely think the Digital Nomad Visa could be an option (whenever it arrives lol) alternatively it would also be possible to qualify for an E7 without a degree but you need 5 years of work experience in the field you wish to work in in Korea - a bachelor's degree just fast-tracks you a bit but you still need 2-3 years of experience as well. The H1 does not have a degree requirement but I believe there are limits on the amount of hours you can work (not 100% sure on this) so you would need some savings. Hope this helps!
Without going to college finding sponsored work in any country can be rather difficult! I would recommend finishing school first and then a whole of options is sure to open up in Korea and beyond :) You could always come here as a student and work part time too if you wanted!
Interesting question! My first gut reaction is no more or no less than in the western world. But, I think to get a real answer you would have to speak to a Korean person as there maybe some nuance to it seeing as age and respect are uniquely and intimately connected in Korean culture. I will say, work experience is a huge plus. It makes it so much easier to prove your qualifications for the visa.
Hi there! I am sorry I don't think I will be much help :s I only know about the E2 (English Teacher) visa. I would recommend chatting with the Korean Embassy or Consulate closest to you in India for the best information!

I am so happy you found it valuable! And thank you~ ✨💜
I re-watch this every other week as if I will get something new out of it. But I love the video and I can't wait for more job related videos.
Thank you! If you have any specific questions just let me know. :)
That was sooo helpful! I just graduated and I’ve found it so hard to even get an interview. I see now that it may be my cover letters!

Thank so much Miss about your great helpful clips 🇳🇵
Of course! My pleasure 😇
Hey Camille! I know it’s way far from now but I’m a student Korea. I’m looking forward to finding a job in Seoul as well.

Awesome! Good luck with your job hunting 💪🏻
hii camille im so happy i found this video cuz its definitely provided some guidance on the next steps in my career! i coincidentally am also from toronto and im currently halfway thru my hagwon contract living just outside of seoul. im tryna plan out what i wanna do after my contract is up and since i studied tourism/hospitality back in toronto i was wondering how i could find jobs in that area in seoul and im hoping the websites you've mentioned will help :) quick question - how far in advance did u start job hunting before ur contract was up, or did u leave in the middle of it?? was it difficult switching from the e2 to e7 visa? thanks again for the great vid ur awesome!
I am glad you found it too! (also wow - small world)
I left a few months into my second year with the school. End to end it was about two and half weeks from when I started searching to when I got the offer. But, because I had to give notice at the school I didn't start my current job until nearly 3 months later. Switching my visa was more tedious than it was difficult. I was lucky to have my new employer's lawyer to help me with lots of it 😅
ps GOOD LUCK! You got this ;)
It’s some time later, how is the job hunt going.
@@CamilleBlais would it have been better to wait until you were closer to the start date (1-2 months instead of 3) or did that not effect your chances of getting a new job.

hi this video is so helpful! i will be going to korea (again) this fall under a d-2 visa, would it be possible to work under that visa or would i need to switch out my visa type?
I don't know D-2 visas very well as I never studied in Korea. My understanding is thought that part time work is possible if your school approves it and it matches your area of study. For example, if you were studying Fine Art you could work part time at an art gallery - kind of like a paid internship system I think.
Girl how tf do you break computer😂😂🖐
Apparently.. very easily lol 😅
We need a hair tutorial because honestly in every video your hair is always bomb
I’m totally down… once I figure out how to get it all to stop falling out. 🙃 Damn Seoul water supply 😂
Thanks for your update

Hey Camille, thanks so much for this video, it was super helpful! I just had a question about your living situation. Is the place you’re living at the moment a place you found yourself while at the Hagwon? I feel like finding a place to live when moving over would definitely be something I’d be worried about.
just after leaving this comment I saw the moving vlog haha

I would also recommend you use any of the job hunting services available at SNU - I am sure that will help a lot too!
ps. I just had to toss it unfortunately :(
I did an exchange year there, and I plan to do my master's degree in Korea, it will give me a better chance of finding a job there for the future ?
Yes! Completing your Master's Degree in Korea will help you a lot with qualifying for sponsored work visas~ You get bonus points ;)
Thank you! I am so glad you like it!😊
Hmm - I would actually take their advice... but in a different way then they intended.

What are the companies that you interviewed with that was willing to interview a foreign and supply a visa.
All of them! Usually, if a company is not capable or willing to hire a foreigner, they just won't interview us.

I can speak some Korean and I do have a Korean resume but like you I'm not confident yet ^^'
Thank you very much in advance for your help
Thank you for a great comment, Anouch! Because I don't speak Korean, I found the best way to filter was to search using English terms. So for my line of work I used to search "editor," "copywriter," "social media manager," and "content writer." Then I would open a million tabs (lol) and quickly review each listing, deleting any that did not clearly list Korean as a preference (as opposed to an requirement, or not at all). That usually narrows the list down quite a bit. 😅
Best of luck with your job hunt!

@@CamilleBlais It doesn’t matter :) I just don’t know how to write good resumes according to korean standards
Just curious on what were the reasons that compelled you to move to S. Korea?
I have a goal to live on every continent. I’ve already checked off North America and Oceania, so Asia is my third. I picked South South Korea - but I found the culture (food, fashion, music, language) most comfortable for me! 🥰
@@CamilleBlais I agree with you 100%. Can I ask you a very personal question? Do you ever think you'll settle down with someone and have a family? Living your life as adventurous as it may sound, how do you feel in terms of finding the "right companion" while living the best life you could? Or is that something you remotely think about?
Hey is it hard to find a job who can sponsor you a E7 visa
It depends on the type of job you are looking for! Companies who are looking to sponsor E7 visas will likely have business needs outside of Korea. So, in my opinion, careers in communications or tourism are likely to have more interest in sponsoring this type of visa to gain foreign expertise than say a job in healthcare or law. I hope that helps! 🤗
@@CamilleBlais thank you ☺️
Hii, as a foreigner is it possible to do an online internship from my home country (do they hire interns sometimes if they work good) and then similarly apply for a job meant for a fresh college graduate? Will I get sponsored? I'm currently pursuing my bachelors in computer science.

Most of the office jobs that hire foreigners are marketing and communications based like PR, social media management, advertising, and English writing roles. I'd give a search under jobs like that!

Hi! Thank you for this informative video 💖
I’m currently 23 yrs old without a degree, but I’m doing some certificates on Web Development and the Google UX Design Professional Certificate.
I’ve also heard about a new Digital Nomad visa but haven’t found any info about that, and not sure if I can turn that visa into a more permanent one later on (unless I marry lol)
If having an Associates or Bachelor is reallyyy necessary, I might have to do it but I’m 23…going to college in 2024, graduate in 2028, work at least 1 yr in my country… when I go to Korea is already 2029/2030 and I’ll be 30 which is the limit age of H1 visa.
@@CamilleBlais Wow, this was really helpfull! Thank you so much for replying 😊

Without going to college finding sponsored work in any country can be rather difficult! I would recommend finishing school first and then a whole of options is sure to open up in Korea and beyond :) You could always come here as a student and work part time too if you wanted!
is there ageism when looking for these jobs?? be honest! I'm not "old" but I'm also not super young T_T I have some years of work experience at least

But, I think to get a real answer you would have to speak to a Korean person as there maybe some nuance to it seeing as age and respect are uniquely and intimately connected in Korean culture. I will say, work experience is a huge plus. It makes it so much easier to prove your qualifications for the visa.

@@CamilleBlais That is good, but still was a bit funny, you always find a way to make me giggle. The main question I have regarding your new job is, are you able to still get your morning coffee?
