you guys, if your worried about langauge, as long as you do a lesson everyday and review 1 hour each (1 review, 1 study) then you can complete korean in 1 - 1 1/2 year.
The speed at which someone picks up a language depends on a lot of factors. Someone who picks up a new language quickly typically already speaks or at least understands one other foreign language already. Someone who has never been exposed to foreign languages before may take longer to pick up something as simple as the alphabet as their brains are working harder to recognize patterns in sounds. I personally understand a healthy level of 2 other languages on top of english, so my brain picks up patterns in speech of foreign languages fairly quickly. 1-1.5yrs of studying may only get people to a high intermediate level in Korean depending on how intensely they study the language every day.
You sound like you had a very very long hard time, you seem intelligent and seems like you worked very hard to achieve that goal, as someone who hope for similar achievements it’s really nice to listen to your advices so thank you 🙏
Wow! Your explanation is very structured and well organized. I did not know you've gone through that long and complicated processes. Congrats in the end.

He was telling me that older people are treated with a lot more respect in Korea than in the US and thought this sounded good. He also mentioned that he had no interest in living in a large city. yes, you need to have another long-term (not tourist) visa before applying. and you have to have it for 1 to 3 years, depending on that previous visa and also on your qualifications. D4 should be eligible :)
Hi congratulations, I’m just curious if you are doing the Masters degree how do you make it 3 years when it’s only 2 years? Also was it easy to get a job?
I extended it for one year because I needed more time to do research for my thesis :) und job hunting was not too hard for me because I have topik 6 korean skills, a MA degree from a good univ, and there are not too many germans here, so translators etc. are always in demand.

as far as I know the income should be made in Korea, because they also calculate how much tax you pay here (because tax helps the country). so it might not help you for the points, even if you have a good income back home 😢
you would still have to apply for a general background check like everyone else, but with that kind of money it should be very easy to pass all the requirements 😆
Hi. Did you apply with the new points system? I'm confused whether you need to be in Korea for 1 year or 3 years in order to qualify for the new points-based F2-7 visa. Does anybody happen to know?

It says on the internet that your need at least 5 years as permanent resident before you apply to citizenship. Does that mean that any type of visa counts or it is just for the F-2-7 or the F-5 visa categories? So, ultimately one might need around 8 years before you can apply to citizenship? Is it that hard to become citizen? I can't find much information online. Thank you!
you have to check on the official topik website where and when tests are being held in your country. :) it is different for every country so be sure to check the official site!
Hi i hope you see this. So if i plan to study masters degree for 2 years in South Korea which is D2 and then after i graduated can i work in different jobs or fields? that are not connected to my degree? And what visa should i get. I'm waiting for u. Ty.
After graduation you could change to the D-10 visa which is for working right after graduation. As far as I know you are quite flexible on that visa but some jobs might still not be allowed by the Immigration service, like working in a nightclub etc.
@@ElliinKorea so u can work multiple jobs like, i work in hotel which is my main job and then i can work another part time job? Is that right? We are not limited to what job we do? I want to be a flight atendent in korea and do I have to have a degree to move to south korea?
It says on the internet that your need at least 5 years as permanent resident before you apply to citizenship. Does that mean that any type of visa counts or it is just for the F-2-7 or the F-5 visa categories? So, ultimately one might need around 8 years before you can apply to citizenship? Is it that hard to become citizen? I can't find much information online. Thank you!
Which Korean University offer as free charge similar as free scholarship?
I don't know about a single university here that you can attend free of charge:(
How much income do i have to get to make it easier for me to get the f-2 visa?
Easiest way to get a F-2 Visa in any country is become a Tech Developer. Thank me later
Haha that is such a good "shortcut" advice! 😆 I wish I was smart enough to get a job in the tech or IT field lol!🤣🥲
Hi good evening madem I leve in Abu Dhabi I have job hare Bot I want to go there just visit there
Can you do an another video for the f27 visa to the F5 visa ?
Can i become an k-pop idol or Singer with this visa that you have?? Pls ans my question 🥺
You could do that. But the E-6 visa is much, much easier to get and focuses on the entertainment industry. So that would be a better fit. :)

Does visiting back home in a different country affect my visa? (student visa, etc.)
No. Just visiting/traveling does not affect your visa. :)
@@ElliinKorea That’s good to know. Thank you!
@@ElliinKorea Oh and also! Does moving back to your home country get rid of your F visa in Korea?
As long as it is d10 visa? And if i leave my main job it is okay? Can i still find another job right? I don't have to leave the country if i leave my former job?
@@meshi3373 I'm not sure about those details because I never had the d-10 visa. :(
@@ElliinKorea thank you 😊
I love you
