If these vacuums could talk, I bet they would have been saying a lot of swear words. I bet the i7 was really pissed at the S9 because it kept spreading rice all over where it just finished sweeping.
Robot vacs are not meant for that size of mess. They are awesome for day to day cleaning but for catastrophic messes like this you get a normal vacuum or a dust pan and broom. That being said my house has never been cleaner with mine.
The one that has the square front is leaving a trail of rice every time it heads back to empty. The i7 wins. However I could have swept it up in 5 minutes.
I think it’s because the s9+ has brushes closer to the ground. The s9+ has much better deep cleaning on carpet floors. Any large pieces of debris will be hard for the roomba to clean.
Was like a torture test .... u missed the whole fuckin point.... opinions like this are from people who buy all the toilet paper in the store then try to return it .... fuckin moron

for the price, i'd expect them to make me coffee and create electricity by using the friction of moving around to charge my phone and laptop for free xD
I just bought the i7 and it’s arriving today. Seeing this video just reinforced that I chose the right vacuum, not that I’ll be spreading a huge bag of rice on my floor, LOL.
Conclusion: Don’t clean up an entire bag of rice with robot vacuums. I would have never thought lol. This was more a source of entertainment than a realistic test
The roombas are pretty loud for like 800 dollars. I used to have a roomba on 2020 then 2 years later it broke. After that, i chose an eufy robovac G30 verge because of the price and the user-friendly interface. The vacuum i got it a month later after the roomba broke. The tone sounded 👌. The but someone tell me, the top is glass.
it would have been interesting to see how well they cleaned up the remaining rice on the next run. I don't often drop 25lbs of rice on the floor and leave it for the vacuum.

That was a heavy test for the robots. It was cool to see if you could max out these robots. Looks like the S9 maxed out. Great to see the I7 is such a workhorse. I think the S9 is set to low the ground which is it's down fall, hence causing the dirty sensors. I own the I7+ and really like it. Think I will still keep it. S9 still needs a fair amount of work. If they give the S9 a little more height I think it would rule the vacuum robot market. I really enjoyed watching this test.
Thank You, yes but me personally I think these little guys have a personality. The i7 did really well in my Cord and Clothing Test, when I thought it was going to give up it pushed on through 💪🏻
The ave user won't have 25 lbs of rice to vacuum...lol with that said the S9+ has more vacuuming power for the deeper cleaning on carpets because it is lower. So if your trying to vacuum larger/heavier debris S9 may not be the best, but if you're trying to get a deeper clean on carpet for the dirt and finer dust i think S9 is one of the best.

And I say this confidently even after comparing this to other positive review videos about the i9. Thank you for making this video!
Thank you for this! Being someone with chronic back issues, a black lab that sheds horribly, and wood floors, I need to sweep and vacuum often but back pain often prevents it. I think the i7 may be my answer.
Thanks to a worldwide pandemic, this has miraculously become a reasonable activity for the daily quest "How do I entertain my kids and husband today?" :-D
The i7 did a really good Job! I run a 980 for a room with a carpet and for the rest of the rooms with hardfloor also an i7. I prefer the roombas over roborock because they are pretty solid and Easy to fix.
It's funny watching it fill it's bin with rice, then senses it's full, starts heading back to the self empting bins overflowing and dropping rice. Kind of like a little kid trying to run to the toilet while puking.
Doge Da dogo If you are in the market to upgrade the i7+ is $300 Off and the m6 is on sale too. If you find you have to empty the dustbin often, having the self emptying bin bin nice. The i7 is a big upgrade over the 600 series with the smart mapping.
