There are so many fredbear's family diner free roam style fan games out there like Fredbear's and friends reboot, those nights at fredbear's, project fredbear, springlocked at fredbears, that they should have their own category, these are my favourite type of fangames because they are just so nostalgic to me.

It lacks a bit of polish and it’s essentially just a copy of the first original game, but where it really shines is in the atmosphere. That game is legitimately terrifying. Seeing popular, usually happy and optimistic characters you grew up with horribly disfigured and roaming around looking to rip you apart is nightmare inducing. If you’re a Mario and fnaf fan then that game hits perfectly with its horror atmosphere! 8/10

Absolutely true but some people say it’s completely garbage just because of the gameplay. Is the core gameplay the problem or how the gameplay was executed? If it’s the core gameplay, that stinks because I like the ghost hunting and you need to pick which animatronic you think is haunted. If it’s how it was executed, I honestly don’t know what could be done differently other than balancing the game or making the animatronics more unique since the main 4 all act exactly the same while puppet is invisible and if you hear the music box in a room it’s in that room, and bb is a freebie since you know he’s haunted when you see the glitching. As for the basement, I personally love the idea and presentation. The only problems it could realistically have are just the same problems as fnaf 2. Only difference is no toy animatronics and at some point mangle activates. I’ve heard there was gonna be a chase sequence with mangle but that obviously didn’t happen. I personally love London Bridge. It’s an actual banger. Love the fnaf 2 trailer music references and the part where they combine into mangle on the conveyor belt is actually amazing. JR’s literally would be a masterpiece if the gameplay was better. Obviously some people do think it’s a masterpiece like this short does but there are also people who think it’s one of the worst fnaf games ever when it kinda isn’t. Like, is the gameplay so bad you can’t even touch the game with a 10 foot pole?
