You cant be telling me that banban 5 released literally two days later from 4. Even considering both being developed at the same time that is just nuts.
Actual fnaf two where you have both foxy and puppet forcing you out of the mask to interact with their separate mechanics already being criticized for being too simple, meanwhile this game gets rid of both of those and replaces them with just a toxic meter to prevent you from just keeping the mask on the whole night and it doesn't even work. Now *that's* brilliant game design.
A: Talking to people that were little kids when FNAF first came out makes me feel old and is scary. B: FNAF was *very* much criticized for it's rapid releases early on. And in general, there was a lot of contra to FNAFs popularity. "Cheap jumpscare simulator", was one of the most frequent descriptions, going as far as even denying it the status as a horror game.
The dev is actually still working on the series but he's rebooting it as it's own IP called The Road That Falls (Yes it uses the same TRTF abbreviation the old games used). Not sure how the game is coming along but given the other titles in the series I expect it will be utterly insane if it ever launches.
So if there's no AI and everything is scripted, what does changing the numbers for custom night do? Are there 20 scripts per animatronic or is it a placebo that doesn't affect anything?
1:01 easy, the fnaf games were good quality and had lots of longevity in the way of lore and stuff, plus with custom nights had good replayability as well as them not pretending to be anything other than low budget, simple games Ban ban doesn’t do any of these even slightly and each game is significantly shorter than even the shortest fnaf game despite their popularity
saying FNaF has lot of longetivity is insane YOu could beat all of them (including SL) in less than one hour and their gameplay is pretty much the same so no replayability
@@atanaZion First, fnaf is based around Its lore, not gameplay. Second, each game has unique mechanics. Fnaf 1 had cameras and doors, fnaf 2 had the Freddy mask which when you used It you couldn't watch the cameras, fnaf 3 had audio lure, vent doors, phantoms and system errors, fnaf 4 had a completely different gameplay than all the other games, fnaf 5 was different each night, fnaf 6 had the tycoon gameplay and tasks progress instead of hours; and that's just the core gameplay mechanics of each game. Sure, If you play them enough, you'll learn their patterns, but that's just every single game in existence.
@@moppycat2669 The majority of FNaF fans haven't played the games, I only played UCN, FNaF World, security breach, and HW2. And I've been in this fandom since the puppet was the missing kids' mother. I've only played 4 of the 11 games.
The return to Freddy's is one of the community's most controversial fangames. Not only it was used as "Fnaf continuation" jokes, it had many controversial things overall and many more things, there was even a strip club edition of it.
It says a lot when a creator takes a creation from someone else and just take their renders, thinking they can do so. Even when that person’s creation wasn’t ready to be published.
I remember a FNaF fangame where it was the first 3 locations in 1 map and on one of the nights, you battle an endo 02 with the FNaF 2 animatronics' heads on it. If anyone can find it, please let me know.
The games included the game creator and his ex girlfriend at the time as animatronics, even lore about what happened to the ex girlfriend animatronic after they broke up. It was wild, and the game creator made like 4 different animatronics of himself in the games. Even mentioning super cancer and how I think one of the characters become an animatronic to prevent his death? (Take it with a grain of salt since it has been a bit)
The only thing i dislike about FNaF fan games is they always start off or copy Scott's phone calls as "hello? Hello hi uh..." Like, is there anything else you could do besides full on copy Scott?
My guess for the delayed jumpscares is the animatronics "move" into a position where they will jumpscare you the next time they move, similar to Bonnie/Chica blocking the door in the first game. This is in contrast to FNAF 2, where the animatronics will instantly jumpscare you and don't queue anything. So what happens is you ward them off, but they're still queued to jumpscare you, so the next time they move they kill you.
Well there is one big difference in fnaf releasing 4 games in a year and banban releasing 5 in a year is that fnaf was a 2d game that can be created much faster than a 3d game (also Scott didn’t just take stuff from the unreal asset store)
One of the weirdest things about the toxic meter is that for some reason i vividly remember fnaf 2 actually having it implemented but that's just not true apparently
Actually I'm not too sure. Either they took the source code from another fnaf game, decided to use ai ONLY for the custom night for some reason, or manually scripted every level of difficulty per animatronic 🤷
Thanks for doing a video on this weird but also interesting FNAF fan game: it may make use of stolen assets, have nonsensical/pointless cutscenes, completely useless doors, & even called itself "FNAF 3" at one time, among other things, but it's still rather interesting I'd say (one could say that it's a rather interesting "case study" of sorts). I for one sorta like the different way you can scroll your view back & forth in the office (which also makes it look wider & somewhat more realistic too). The doors are weird in how they don't actually do anything to keep the animatronics out (even if a FNAF game with both doors *&* the Freddy head _would_ be an interesting concept: the doors would be your first line of defense, & then if for some reason an animatronic gets past them, you still have the Freddy head to counter them with!), & the creator didn't help matters by making them permanently closed (despite the buttons not actually being on) & also have _holes_ in them for some reason (which I highly doubt any of the animatronics could get through anyway) in later versions: he might as well have just removed them completely at that point since they serve no purpose & don't do anything. Funnily enough though the version that I tried playing once was apparently one of the later versions, since I planned on playing around with the doors only to find that they were inoperative. Also, about the "toxic" meter: I swear I've seen it functioning in one RUclipsr's playthrough (IULITMx if I'm remembering correctly): maybe on a later night or in a different version it functions, I don't know (some of the aforementioned user's playthroughs called it "Escape To Freddy's" for some reason too). I believe said playthroughs also had Sugar appear at least once too. Fun Fact: the hall light buttons are actually the _air vent light buttons_ from FNAF 2, which is why they glow the same green color the door buttons do when activated, unlike FNAF 1's hall light buttons which glow blueish-white when activated instead. Good "merging" of assets I'd say! (even if they _were_ stolen)
the reason people dont like garten of banban is because its a lazy cash grab meant to attract kids and be as profitable as possible. people didn't mind fnaf releasing so quickly back then because of the amount of hype surrounding it and how good quality the games were despite the development time.
I think the incest thing in Tyler’s apology was due to the fact that he claimed his Ex Girlfriend (who he based Kitty Fazcat on) was his sister. I have no evidence to say if it’s true or not because I only heard about this in another video and the person in that video didn’t go further from just stating it

Bro is saying it will be on PS5 on the trailers, lol
it’s really cool to see videos made by channels that aren’t as massive getting sponsorships
amazing video toadbup! i loved the part with the ghjahskkavaknakbjkh
2:51 HOW THE HELL. DID THIS JUMPSCARE ME.
Cat jumpscare
Saw the comment and went to look what time I was watching this, and then it just popped up 😂😂
So if there's no AI and everything is scripted, what does changing the numbers for custom night do? Are there 20 scripts per animatronic or is it a placebo that doesn't affect anything?
me: "how do i evade robbers breaking into my house?"
TRTF: "put on a mask and wait for them to leave"
14:07
MatPat will truly be missed... 😭
FNAF 3 Fanmade aka The Return to Freddys, is just an unapologetic game with alot of stolen assets...
8:02 " *aehh hello... Hello... Ahhh.... Why u staying in here?* "
People born in 2004 are now 20 and it like, I still can't wrap my head around it.
1:13 I like how he has kitty faz cat from the return to freddy's as his pc wallpaper in his background monitors
The TRTF novel is something else, it's more of a drug trip than LSD Dream Simulator
1:01 easy, the fnaf games were good quality and had lots of longevity in the way of lore and stuff, plus with custom nights had good replayability as well as them not pretending to be anything other than low budget, simple games
Ban ban doesn’t do any of these even slightly and each game is significantly shorter than even the shortest fnaf game despite their popularity
saying FNaF has lot of longetivity is insane
YOu could beat all of them (including SL) in less than one hour and their gameplay is pretty much the same so no replayability
@@zrockey77i feel like the first statement is wrong because if you just cared about the lore you would just watch videos instead of playing
@@moppycat2669 The majority of FNaF fans haven't played the games, I only played UCN, FNaF World, security breach, and HW2. And I've been in this fandom since the puppet was the missing kids' mother. I've only played 4 of the 11 games.
when you said illegal fangame, I thought you were referring to dormitabis
12:16 i got an ad while the jumpscare was happening
The return to Freddy's is one of the community's most controversial fangames.
Not only it was used as "Fnaf continuation" jokes, it had many controversial things overall and many more things, there was even a strip club edition of it.
Audience towards Bonnie’s face: Aww
Bonnie: *Stares at the night guard with creepy red eyes*
5:34
Oh, that again blue recolor of Freddy! Which I don't remembered name.
Bear5
It says a lot when a creator takes a creation from someone else and just take their renders, thinking they can do so. Even when that person’s creation wasn’t ready to be published.
YIPPEE IM SO HAPPY WHEN TOAD BUP UPLOADS
Bro fucking "yipee"'d what the hell
I remember a FNaF fangame where it was the first 3 locations in 1 map and on one of the nights, you battle an endo 02 with the FNaF 2 animatronics' heads on it. If anyone can find it, please let me know.
9:15
im literally playing dokkan watching this 😭
The phone guy sounds like my grandpa trying to ask me how my day went
7:50 I’m surprised the calls weren’t just ripped too
The games included the game creator and his ex girlfriend at the time as animatronics, even lore about what happened to the ex girlfriend animatronic after they broke up. It was wild, and the game creator made like 4 different animatronics of himself in the games. Even mentioning super cancer and how I think one of the characters become an animatronic to prevent his death?
(Take it with a grain of salt since it has been a bit)
8:56 burnnnnnnnnn hahahah😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The creator joked that his girlfriend was his sister and now we dont know if he was lying or not
7:11 I knew damn well you like dragonball when i heard that soundtrack you used bruh lmao
9:18 TOADBUP PLAYS DOKKAN BATTLE?! ABSOLUTELY BASED! Love that game to death
Im a dokkan battle and a legends player and is rly great!
I see you grinding those links while keeping an eye out for foxy, living the sweet sweet life
“Oh,hey. Uhhh. Why are you staying here.” Dude sounds like he’s reading off a cartoon script
Fnaf is 10 years old now
. Yippe
The only thing i dislike about FNaF fan games is they always start off or copy Scott's phone calls as "hello? Hello hi uh..." Like, is there anything else you could do besides full on copy Scott?
0:35 I also feel so goddamn old given my favorite franchise at 16th of January Celebrated 13th Birthday
btw in one of his creations he made a green man slip on soap into a springlock suit
1:01 the original FNAF games were decent. Garten of banban is Not. I am not a Freddy FNAFbear defender but still
I was always confused by the updated broken doors cause i was like "how do i get in and out of the office?"
I remember ragging on these games way back in the day, thank you for bringing back some nostalgia
The best return to freddys lore is supercancer being a thing
Well there is one big difference in fnaf releasing 4 games in a year and banban releasing 5 in a year is that fnaf was a 2d game that can be created much faster than a 3d game (also Scott didn’t just take stuff from the unreal asset store)
Imagine an endoskeleton just doing the Macarena at Domino’s💀💀💀
0:01 *me when return to freddy’s*
it's the first video I've seen of you, I love the editing !
I was an Acquaintance of Tyler’s.
2:14 Also Luigikid and TheGameSalmon played it.
One of the weirdest things about the toxic meter is that for some reason i vividly remember fnaf 2 actually having it implemented but that's just not true apparently
DOKKAN BATTLE MENTIONED!!!!
At least fnaf doesn’t have the low poly remote
How does the custom night work if there's no AI tho??
Actually I'm not too sure. Either they took the source code from another fnaf game, decided to use ai ONLY for the custom night for some reason, or manually scripted every level of difficulty per animatronic 🤷
@@ToadBup hm, maybe the number is just the amount of times they appear. idk if just 1 to 1 or more. but yeah, who knows :p
I love how every time he says "the office" it shows an image of Michael Scott, lol.
Ngl i thought the title said “making an illegal Fnaf game”
one night at related similar buildings
The fact I was 12 when I first played fnaf is crazy to me. I’m 21 now going on 22 😭 it felt like it was only yesterday
Holy Molly I just watched he movie today from reccomendation
tyler: lol i stole ur render
emil: its work in progress. u can just have it
tyler: i dont want it anymore
When he wrote "being incest" I think he meant being insensitive
no, he meant being inappropriate with his sister (allegedly)
Someone needs to remake this game with new gimmicks, new phone guy calls, and a cheat that makes you disable the toxic meter.
can we get a ham sandwich video
4:47 that's not Golden Freddy, this is just Super Sayajin Freddy.
dayum
new toadbup video, i used to pray for times like these 😭🫂
timeout, you were 10 in 2014?? oh my god you're so young 😭
the reason people dont like garten of banban is because its a lazy cash grab meant to attract kids and be as profitable as possible. people didn't mind fnaf releasing so quickly back then because of the amount of hype surrounding it and how good quality the games were despite the development time.
You should review the sequels. Btw, Bonnie is a girl in TRTF.
I think the incest thing in Tyler’s apology was due to the fact that he claimed his Ex Girlfriend (who he based Kitty Fazcat on) was his sister. I have no evidence to say if it’s true or not because I only heard about this in another video and the person in that video didn’t go further from just stating it
