BMW 6WA (Partial) Digital Cluster Installation on an F15 X5 Diesel

- Hey Everyone,
Today, we're installing a 6WA cluster in an F15 BMW X5! Not to be confused with the fully digital 6WBm the 6WA is a great option for your F30, F10, F15, etc. where just the bottom portion is a screen and you maintain the analog look and feel with a more modern touch. The car in the video is a diesel, but this works on petrol/gas cars as well.

although i appreciate these hands on videos. the most spectacular thing is that bmw wich is in this case(im sure it is the same with any other brand). have already thought out how to design their stuff so it can be removed/replaced by a shop or a diy guy :D the designers and engineers behind the vehicles out there are the ones that needs so be embraced :D and Brian thanks for your effort on bringing us enjoyable content :d

I strongly believe the stock one is also illuminated by night when the lights are turned on.
You are correct, the 6WA can appear a little brighter, that's all
Kies Motorsports you can always adjust brightness but the newer one def looks more sleek. Good mix of digital and analog.
Graet video man, you are luckier than I am. I did that just 30 min before watch you video and lost a chunk of my finger tip(ouch!!)
A tutorial on how to remove the glass on that panel, on F series and clean the insects 🕷 inside would be awesome :)

I really wish you would have shown a demonstration on what it actually looks like after installing it like you did with the 6wb. I can't find a demo anywhere and I need to see it before I fork over $1200 for it.
Many pre lci f01 have 6wa as standard, just check those videos
Mostly it is backlit, the old one was not. During the day or low light you could not see the gauges/info. Stupid BMW ever offered it.. Yes, it's my BMW

Hi Bryan. Would like to fit the 6wa to my car but it does not have most cable. It is basic professional radio-cd without the optical fiber cables unfortunately. Know if the cluster can be fitted or not?

Bro is all this happened and I updated it but the P15E8 engine light turns on I get that code says manufacturer defined it will be that it does not work oh what should I do
