    Creating new Framer website for clients from scratch is much easier than editing pre-built projects.
    I learned this the hard way working on a few projects, Nandi.

    Hello, wondering if you could share how you bring the measuring tool you use 4:07 upper right of the screen, showing the pixel count. Thank you!

    • @framer.university
      @framer.university  2 месяца назад

      It’s the native screenshot tool on Mac. Shift + CMD + 4.

    What is the extension you are using to measure the distance between elements? If it's the extension... The reference is in relation to the part of the video where you were editing the nav bar, and you wanted to ensure the distance is the same between elements, and there is a popup that shows the distance in pixels.

    • @gabrielspycugly
      @gabrielspycugly 2 месяца назад

      He just presses Alt between the elements
      p.s if you want to check the sizes of some websites elements online use CSS Peeper, it's a bower extension

      If you hold down option on mac or alt on windows, those purple lines with the numbers show up :)

    Nandi I recommend getting a mouse man, something ergonomic. Your wrist is going to hurt in a few years if you work like that for a while. I have the Logitech MX Master 3s, which is great, there's even an extra wheel that I set to zoom in framer and figma, saves time and saves my wrist.
    Just think about it, it's better for your health

      It is not actually a measure tool. It's an area screenshot tool on mac. It also shows the dimensions.

    Brother, thank you so much for this insightful video! Could you create a deep-dive video on building a CMS-based website that specifically highlights the advantages of using Framer compared to other so-called AI website builders? I’m particularly interested in how a robust CMS can be developed for scalable websites that allows businesses to list and manage their services effectively.
    With the rise of AI, many clients seem to undervalue creative design and custom landing pages. They no longer see the same value in these services, which is why a strong CMS platform-one that enables scaling of blogs, services, or package offerings-is crucial. I've lost several clients due to a lack of CMS expertise, and I feel this would be an incredibly useful skill set.
    Could you teach us how to build a high-functioning CMS, similar to what’s used by sites like Airbnb or TripAdvisor, with diverse CMS collections that also support SEO? A course on this would be especially valuable, and I'd be willing to invest in it. Thanks again, brother! lot's of love from India ❤

      @@framer.university wow, I'm doing freelancing (as virtual assistant) since 2017 and had a good phase but since last one and half year my earnings drastically dropped so I decided to learn new skill (Framer) and this is quite motivating to see that this skill is really valuable and if I learn it properly then I can revive my freelancer career.
