    Eine sehr einfühlsame Hymne, ein musikalisches Denkmal an die unzähligen Gefallenen. Ein grosses Lob an den weltbekannten Komponisten John Williams. Ein grosses Lob an die Swiss Army Brass Band. Hervorragende Orchestrierung unglaublich schön gespielt.

      Listen to Black Dykes version. This version is really good also because it is live, but thew Black Dyke band has such an amazing sound which brings the emotion out of you.

    Why show the euphonium at the beginning when it is the flugel horn that has the melody?

      @Carl Ferrigno If he is a professional doing a brass band recording surely it is his responsibility o find out. They must have practised this piece before this fine recording.

    Jamais entendu parler de cet arrangeur ??? Klaus van der Roost ???

    • @ulrichdannenbaum4472
      @ulrichdannenbaum4472 3 года назад

      Ce que nous entendons ici est l'arrangement unique du morceau par Klaas van der Woude !
      Le maestro Nicholas Childs a également utilisé cette version lorsqu'il a enregistré ce morceau avec son groupe
      " Black Dyke Band ". Pour de nombreux experts, cet orchestre de cuivres est actuellement sans doute le meilleur du monde.
      Jetez un coup d'œil à ..... Le CD chez Naxos s'appelle simplement "Symphonic Brass".

    Ironic that Switzerland play's this considering how many allied pilots they shot down in ww2. They also banked for numerous Nazi war criminals after the war and to this very day do for the Russian oligarchs in the current Ukraine/Russian conflict

      As someone once said about Switzerland, 400 years of peace and they could only invent, Toblerone, army knives and clocks.
