This is the one from the Schurman Iron Ranch collection that sold back in 2019 after Alan Schurman sadly died that february. Buda 4 cyl gas engine with a Westinghouse compressor. Auctioned for an absolute song at only $1,732.50... very much hoping it went to a good home! Apparently the ranch also had a narrow gauge steam locomotive tucked away somewhere.
What model is that, the former Porcupine Paymaster Mine in Timmins Ontario Canada had two FLB? that hauled a huge wooden framed ore car from their #5 shaft to the mill about a mile to the south up to 1966 when the mine closed. One locomotive was only used, the other was a spare I assume. I was about 8 years old at the time and lived about a mile from the mine, and I was fascinated by this locomotive so much so that trains and mines have been a love of mine for over 50 years, thanks!
Diminutive in size, but what they can pull is what counts! That's what Plymouth built them for!
I need that locomotive in my life! Now only if I can convince my wife.

Ugh... Would have easily paid twice that for it! Looks like 2' gauge, right up my alley.
Mans driving a switcher on the grass
All you gotta do now is put it on some rails and let that thing roll!
You should hook up a lawnmower to the back of that! The locomotive looks and sound great.
Love the invisible tracks! Is this two foot gauge?
This is surreal.
Super. 💙 T.E.N.

Looks like a DLH/6.
This is a Plymouth DLB 8 ton.
Where are the rails?
Is that on rails or grass?
rails. they get grown over when they're not used
@@MinniMoRman i dont see any rails at all
Trust me they’re there 😂 just hiding under the grass
How many tons is the locomotive?
I believe these locomotives are rated at around 8 tons.
Same thing I'd like to know?
Yes it is on rails that get grown over after a while because that is the only thing they get used for.
I don’t see any rails
