I was too lazy to do the research myself and typed "is audible worth it" on RUclips. Yours was the first video. It was 10 mins well spent on RUclips. And sure, I'd use your link to get audible subscription as a way of saying thank you.
Thankyou so much for your video. I couldn’t understand why I was offered one credit when I rarely used Audible. I am going on a trip and only used my first books while on the road an hour once a week. You see that wasn’t really worth it, but, now will want to listen 4-5 hours a day for a couple weeks. You helped me understand how this works. The two books you’re recommending are excellent choices for young people trying to get started in life. I read them more than 20 years ago, still remember them fondly.
Yay, an up to date Audible explained! I just watched one from UK but the pounds vs dollars frustrated me. You answered all my questions, especially the return option, considering I'm hard of hearing certain accent's are difficult to understand at times. Usually I get my audiobook via the library (since my son is a librarian I don't even have to waste gas, he drops it off on his way home😂). I also use YT but searching for complete books is at times horrendous, I've learned to check comments before starting for any complaints/warnings (it's a bitch listening to a 12 hr book to find no frickin ending!). I recently read that Audible is having issues related to Closed Captions. I understand that why not just buy the book if you're going to read it? But I do find cc helpful for people with dyslexia, hard of hearing, learning a different language and of course lack of space to keep them. Thanks for your time and I did subscribe to your channel to see what else you have to offer.
Great channel Jason. I have been an audible subscriber for about a year now, and I love it. I. by the way, I found your channel when I was looking for some information on dividends., I found that, and it was also very helpful. Clear, concise, and delivered in a watchable form..Thanks!
I'm still watching! I've had a yearly subscription to Audible for a long time! I love them. I don't have much time to actually read, so audiobooks and a good set of earbuds keeps me able to listen no matter what I'm doing. With the yearly membership, when I'm out of credits I am able to buy 3 more for $29.90 and it seems to be unlimited. They often have a BOGO free special so you can get 2 books for 1 credit. I've also never had an issue returning a book! I also like the stats. This is a great video! I have Audible and have had for years and still watched the whole video! Great content. Keep up the great work!
Still watching. Thanks to your video, I learned about the awesome refund process. I had a couple of audio books just sitting in my account that I didn't like and I was able to return them and get credits back to use, yay! Last year, I was actually a gold member for a couple months but then I cancelled because I felt I wasn't listening to enough books to justify the monthly cost. This past April I decided to re-join under their Silver plan, which is 1 credit every two months, so $14 charged every two months, and this seems to suit me better.
I'm still watching. Your video is great. To the point, NO fluff. That takes a couple of takes and a bit of editing to make a video this clean and to the point. Great job, Jason, you're the video man!
Both books recommended that the end of this video can be found for free all of the Internet including here on RUclips. Other than that, great video thank you I’ll probably subscribe to audible.
I’m still watch even though I have had a Audible account for the last 3 or 4 years but I wanted to know if I get to keep the books that I purchased with my credits, I’m glad you clarified that for me. Great video 👍🏾
@@adams8849 you must buy audio narration separately you can find it on the amazon web page on kindle e-shop check the colon for eBooks with Audible Narration
Caryn Jones, after I cancelled, I am not allowed to access the book file I "own." The option to access the file is not available without an active subscription! That is what the website says!
Still watching. Do returns get you back a credit toward another book? I'm also into self-help and educational books. I'm glad you hit on that. Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a YES! And Robert Cialdini's Pre-Suasion.
i agree that the expiration of credit is stupid. like, i paid for it, and they expire??? like paying for giftcards that expire and gift cards never expire
Okay let me tell you about credits policy, now every credit has a life of 365 days from the date of issue. Credits do expire when you cancel the membership but you can contact audible anytime to either reinstate them or refund for those unused credits.
I'm still watching To be honest I've been thinking about this for a while I never have time to read but I still love books and want to be able to Hear my favorite stories and such so this is really helpful thank you
I personally love audible, used it for about a year. But I did run out interesting books to listen to after a couple months and just racked up a bunch of credits. :) Honestly, I don't think I've read a full book the old fashion way, except grad school, since Audible.
You might want too add that you can suspend your subscription for 3 months without having to cancel and resubscribe so that is another option they offer. I LOVE Audible. I prefer listening to books rather than watching videos. I buy additional credits as well as my monthly subscription. They also offer members 2 for 1 deals as well as daily deals. Currently the Christmas deal is 40% of ANY book in your wishlist (or really any book) some have been reduced to amazing prices and I have bought them and as you pointed out kept my credits for any books costing more than a credit costs me. There are SO many books to choose from across a wide range of genres. You can also gift books and or subscriptions. This year I asked all my family NOT to buy me gifts but give me cash to spend on Audible credits.
0mon0zz The RUclips search algorithm rewards Longer videos IF they are watched.. of course RUclips wants people to stay on RUclips as long as possible. It also rewards videos that result in likes, comments, and subs. This is why you have every video by anyone successful asking you to “like, comment, and sub” 2-3 times a video Sure 1 comment won’t do much, but if a couple thousand people like and comment, it will move the video up in the search list.

Great video! I am a big time podcast listener and have been thinking about using audible because I don't have the attention span to sit down and read... lol
It’s really about multitasking cuz you can’t read and drive. I listen when I clean the house and drive to work. I don’t podcast listen and I need to try it
I love audiobooks mainly because I have difficulty reading. I have a really short attention span and I cannot sit down and just read a book. But with audio books I can plug my iPod that I have solely for audiobooks in my car and listen to them on my way to work. I would say in the last year I have probably listen to more books that I have in the last 20 years.

i always thought audible is just like spotify just with books. Oh boy, how wrong i was.
God I wish. They should at least make it like that for Prime members... that'd be shweeeet

Actually Spotify has a few audiobooks (but they’re only any good if you have premium because they are split into many parts)
