Would you prefer a quick and easy fudge recipe or a classic old-fashioned fudge recipe?

  • @traceyhellsten649

My mama always made it with marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows. God bless 🙏

  • @jameskennedy673

Like you said Ms. Paula, never give up on the recipe, keep trying until you get it the way it’s supposed to be. That what my wife always did. I always enjoyed her first time try’s that goofed. They were still delicious 😋

  • @charitys.3862

Pretty much the way I make it, except I use a pot not a frying pan.❤

  • @patricialong2717

My favorite quick fudge is 2 Cups chocolate chips ( or any flavor you like) , dash salt , 1 can condensed milk (NOT evaporated) and microwave 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until melted. Stir in 1 tsp vanilla and pour into greased or foil lined 8 in square pan and put in fridge. Truly No Fail!!

Paula dont forget the weather can keep a good batch of fudge from being what its supposed to be!! Its raining all over & rain is the enemy to making goood fudge!

  • @dreamarichards4972

Love this fudge! Thank you very much Ms. Paula! ❤❤

I have to say my favorite fudge is the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk one. That recipe is so delicious and SO easy. Don't have to worry about anything. I use Toll House milk chocolate chips for the fudge and my adult kids love it. I always melt my chocolate chips on a double boiler, it's the best way to not scorch chocolate and melt it properly. The fudge always comes out perfect.

Thank you miss paula. I will be trying this for sunday dessert

  • @lornahardin4563

This recipe is very similar to the recipe I do only I start with 3 cups of milk or semi chocolate chips, 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, dash salt, 1 can sweetened condensed milk (in place of your sugar and evaporated canned milk), stir til melted smooth, add 1 tsp vanilla, take off heat and add 1 cup mini marshmallows and 1 c chopped nuts. No need to melt marshmallows as this makes rocky road fudge. I have made it many times for years over the holidays for gifts and it never fails me, as you say, keep stirring and use med. heat. Love you Paula.

  • @MrJasonl76

This looks and sounds so quick and easy! If there weren't a banana pudding in the fridge, I'd be trying this for some ball game I hear about coming up today

  • @catherinerandall1966

I make it by stirring in colored marshmallows and quickly pouring into your pan. We called it Rocky roads...so freaking good

  • @annettecarlin4800

    Thank you Miss Paula

  • @lisamoore6804

It took me more than five minutes to get the milk, butter and sugar to 234f, Idk if it's my location or because I have an electric stove. It turned out really good, best chocolate fudge I ever made.

  • @jenniferhaynes7156

Besides constant stirring (or lack of) being an issue, perhaps it was left on the heat too high for, too long?😘

  • @annettecarlin4800

    Looks good

  • @jopatterson8712

I've often come across a recipe that was great 👍, but didn't turn out the second time 🤣. It's all about the temperature and ratio of ingredients you add at a time. 😋

  • @47retta

When i was 12 years old, back in 1959, i made fudge from a Hershey recipe i believe, that was just sugar, evaporated milk, cocoa, butter, vanilla. NO MARSHMALLOWS, OR CORN SYRUP! It was boiled to softball stage. Then beat it until cooled and thick. Where is that recipe today?
