      Try playing a different sport. These South African boys are too weak to play rugby.

      Firstly, don’t put someone at outside centre if they played wing the entire year. Secondly don’t play with 2 fly half’s. Don’t put someone at fullback if they played wing the entire year. Don’t put someone at 8th man if they played flank the whole year.
      Our country has serious rugby potential at every position. This team was an insult to that potential and made us look pathetic

      french dont really do schoolboy rugby if I recall correctly, their team is mainly from people who play club/academy

      @@Wxll34389 True. But clubs still have a structure for all their teams under 15 yo called « rugby school » though it isn’t properly a school.

      @@Carbojaco their club system is brilliant and well funded that's why they're becoming so good. In England we can't even afford to attract players to a rugby career because for the average journeyman it doesn't pay well, especially since private schools dominate our scene

      ​@@Wxll34389It depends, being French rugby is practiced in schools especially in the South-West of France where rugby is THE most practiced sport. This is the cradle of French rugby. Three quarters of French players come from there.

    Back in the day the SA Schools team was selected on merit of the craven week team. These days these guys playing in this jersey the coaches knows them and is guys that performed in some sort of festival. Is this really our best this is not what I've seen at the CravenWeek except number 7,14,21 etc

    If the u18s or u21s continue to fail, the regions will simply bypass the junior Boks and recruit straight from the source - i.e. Paarl Gim, Grey College, etc.

      I recon this team will struggle against all our top 10 school sides. We have the ability to always get these things wrong. Look at that wp team. Could have just played the Paarl gim side

    shocking......i dont think so....we lost at the U21 division and now the U18....it seems that future talent is sorely lacking and we will finally slump to minow nation territory....that happens goodbye support for the Boks and bye bye DSTV

      You naive to think affirmative action will go away with the anc. It’s in the South African constitution that transformation has to happen - also most political parties advocate for transformation. There is no way out
